I AM APPLYING FOR MY WIFE AS DEPENDANT, PLEASE CAN SHE USE HER OWN ACCOUNT FOR POF AFTER I HAVE GOTTEN A POSITIVE DECISION (BY GOD'S GRACE) ON MINE? THOUGH MY ACCOUNT WILL STILL BE ACTIVE. AND WHAT ARE THE OTHER NEEDED DOCUMENTS NEEDED TO SUBMIT FOR HER. THANKS. dduchess90: Hello
I remember the conversation and I also said you didn't need to worry
The lady that posted that question did same in the Living in UK thread and explained that money was a booster(what we constantly discourage)
ECOs are smart and well trained, they know and even when they ask,the person applying should be able to provide verifiable evidence for any/every transaction in their account
Cheers |

CONGRATULATIONS....... pramil: I have come to show appreciation 👏to dduchess and to everyone that gave answers to my questions. God bless you all mightily.. Thank you to this ogbonge nairaland platform for instigating the boldness of I CAN DO IT mentality on us . I did the process alone .. Last year , paid deposit for RGU for September 22 intake, couldn't get CAS and so I asked for refund and I got it .. in that same spirit I applied to other schools and got admission to 2 schools , UWS and UnI of SALFORD for may and June intake.. had to go for uni Salford ( international student friendly 100 percent). Their took just 3 days to get after pof and TB test submission.

congratulations. please can i send you a mail @olokings. thanks. olokings: Hello Fam, Just to drop my 50 cent and hopefully give someone insight.
So I've been looking for accommodation in New Brunswick Fredericton for some days now without success.
I applied for UNB residence (I'm going for post grad in Fredericton) and even though I was super late, my application was granted.
Application fee was charged from my student account which was already funded with form A.
Now here comes the icing, they started in their site that I can pay room deposit in my local currency using CIBC and I decided to test it with a $CAD50.00 deposit. Behold to my amazement, I was charged N17772 (surcharges included), meaning they processed it at $CAD1 = N420 which is a great deal. Saves me a whole lot of black mkt stress n forex delays...
By the way, I would like to be added to the Nigerian Association in Fredericton whataapp group.
Thanks |

HausaIgboYoruba: Starting a Ph.D. is more flexible than Masters because you can begin it at various times of the year. Just google German universities' websites and get in touch with any professor that he/she research interests align with yours. The professor will be the best to tell when you can begin after accepting your proposal. Thanks HaudaIgboYoruba for the response. |

Congratulations Abi..., Mine is coming this week by God's grace. Amen. Abi2022: Come and join me sing Halleluyah!!!!
I have received my love letter. PPR received 12:41pm. April 26, 2022.
Portal - New Portal Application Date - April 26, 2022 Biometrics - not needed since I had a visitor visa in 2016 and Biometrics is still valid Upfront Medical - May 25, 2022 Upfront Medical Passed - June 23, 2022 PPR - August 02, 2022 Sponsor - self Sponsored Age - 39 I used an agent who helped with admission and application
It has been God all the way.
I stumbled on this thread a month after submissions when there was no movement with my application. I did not submit the numerous documents seen on the thread and doubted my application will be approved at a point especially home ties.
I got frustrated when my medicals was not updated for at least one month. I sent various emails to Accra, Lagos, Nairobi, Abuja and filled numerous forms. My faith was tested and still I believed that God who started this will perfect it.

School fees balance payment (Submitted through Webform) 7. International Medical Insurance Certificate 8. School Certificates 9 Professional Membership Certificate

IamTheJ: Honorable Nairalanders,
I have finally confirmed It's not a dream; it's real. It's PPR!!!!
Got a email notification from IRCC around 9:30 am on June 27 to check my mail for a message. Without delay and with my inner eyes raised to, and fixed on, he who lives in the highest heavens, I logged in to my portal. I scrolled up slowly as I didn't want to rush it. I saw "You have 2 messages" on my dashboard, my shaky heart was strengthened a bit because, from what I have noticed from people's posts on Nairaland, PPR often comes with it's twin brother, BVL. Yet I continued scrolling up in slow motion; lo and behold, it was PPR and its twin brother. Then I glanced at the "Final decision" section and saw "Your application was approved...". Guys! Only heaven could say how large my heart dilated in joy.
I needed to take the whole day to be sure I wasn't seeing a vision or having a daydream, and share with families and friends.
Further below you'll find my timeline. But before that, it may interest you to know that my application is quite unusual. And since I joined Nairaland, I haven't seen any one similar.
To give you an idea:
1) FIRST TIME APPLICANT
2) DID EVERYTHING MYSELF WITHOUT MUCH PRIOR KNOWLEDGE (submitted my application just about amonth after joining Nairaland)
3) 38 years old with very little or no secular work experience (there's a reason for that, though). Single, but not searching yet. lol!
4) Currently not working (though was doing an online course that is not even related to my prospective program - Philosophy)
5) As a logical follow-up of no.4, NO FINANCIAL/PERSONAL ASSETS declared ( there's a reason, though). Didn't submit any personal Bank statement; just my sponsor's. (People are refused visa on the basis of lack of financial/personal assets. But I got approval even without any; what God cannot do does not exist).
6) SPONSORED BY A MATERNAL UNCLE (Mum's immediate younger brother) living and working in the US as a medical doctor. (Third-party sponsored applications get up to 95 - 98% refusal; practically all approvals I've seen on Nairaland are either self-sponsored, spouse-sponsored, parent-sponsored). But I got approval; God too strong o. When he opens the door, no one can close it.
As you can see, what we call "red flags" abound. Plus a plethora of other imperfections i noticed in my application after I had submitted, as I got more enlightened following people's inputs on Nairaland. In fact, when I read people's refusal reasons and the watertightness of approved applications, I felt there was no need to keep deceiving myself. I never gave up trusting in God, though. Tell me, then, why we can't call this a miracle from the Most High.
TIMELINE
- Application Submitted - MAY 11
- Biometrics - MAY 12 ( Lagos)
- Upfront medicals done - MAY 9 ( didn't submit the information sheet with the application)
- Upfront medicals updated - JUNE 22 (after sending the information sheet via webforms and emails to Nairobi, Lagos, Abuja, and London around mmid-June)
- Eligibility Started same JUNE 22
- PPR and BVL - JULY 27
Total duration of my application is therefore 10 WEEKS and 2 DAYS.
I'll come back to share the DOCUMENTS Submitted (They are not that much).
Some unanswered questions on this thread will find responses with my case.
If you no Sabi pray and trust in God, begin now de learn am. If you no believe sey miracle still dey happen, you don see am now. lol!
KINDLY NOTE, HOWEVER: each person's case is unique. I tailored my LOE and I believe honesty pays. Know your case and present a tailor-made application. No complications.
Going to UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA. Someone told me amusingly that uOttawa visa applications are never turned down. lol! (Don't take this seriously, please). Na only God fit do the magic!
To be honest, I carry everyone here in my prayers. The Lord who did it for me will do it for each and everyone of you here trusting in Him. Rest assured of that. Thank you all for all your contributions on this thread. You'll surely smile soon, starting with the Fall session candidates because their case is more urgent. It'll surely end in praise!
I hope this encourages someone.
Thank you! Thank you!! And Thank you!!!. |
