Now a fully-fledged Brazil international, Jesus has four goals in six caps for Tite's Brazil side and will go to the World Cup next summer if he stays fit. He is also set to push seasoned star Sergio Aguero all the way for a starting spot in Manchester City's line-up next season. 1 Like 1 Share

It was clear Manchester City had a major star on their hands when Jesus inspired Brazil to the first Olympic gold medal in their history, scoring three goals in six games to help to heal the damage caused by that devastating World Cup defeat.

Indeed, so much has changed for Jesus in the time between these photos and the present day. Then, he was just a youth player for local professional side Palmeiras and earning the modest sum of just £3,500 a year. Soon after, his talents would be recognised and he would be thrusted into the senior squad only for Manchester City's South American scouting network to take notice and alert a certain Pep Guardiola. A £27million move to the Etihad was agreed in August 2016 with his move going through the following January. He signed a five-year deal with the Citizens worth £75,000 a week, although his mother recently revealed she still controls his wage and hands him pocket money each month.

He would have watched the World Cup play out on television with Brazil making their way to the semi-final before a crushing 7-1 defeat to Germany in Belo Horizonte. Little would he have guessed that he would be favourite to lead the line when the Selecao have another crack at winning their sixth World Cup in Russia just four years later.

Gabriel Jesus may be living the high-life after emerging as one of the most exciting young strikers in world football, but the Manchester City star's humble beginnings are still fresh in the memory. Gabriel with some neighbors painting the streets.

Standing barefoot on a cobbled street in Sao Paulo, a 17-year-old Jesus was just another youngster dreaming of playing in the yellow shirt of Brazil. He was, like many, preparing for the World Cup to come to his homeland.

>Gabriel Jesus posts throwback photos of him painting the streets three years ago. >The striker, then 17, was getting his neighbourhood ready for the World Cup. >Jesus was earning just £3,000 a year as a Palmeiras youth player at the time. >He now enjoys a £4m-a-year contract and is a star for the senior national team. Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus was painting the streets of Brazil and earning £3,500 a year in 2014... three years later he's an international sensation earning £75,000 per week. In a series of photos posted on his social media account, the diminutive forward revealed he was helping to paint the streets of his neighbourhood in patriotic colours in preparation for the tournament just three years ago. |
Health / Re: What Can I Use To Clear These Spots On My Face? by Princefrankie1(m): 10:42pm On May 28, 2017 |
bossman44: Brother, I have read through all the posts, and I realised you really didn't get much effective suggestions. So I will help you. I suffered severe acne (cyst) for over 3 years, and it left me with very visible spots similar to yours, but mine was worse because I am light skinned. I understand how you will be feeling about the spots right now, the psychological trauma, but I want you to know that it will clear up soon. Don't sweat it! All you need do is: At night before sleep, and morning after wake, Boil water, pour inside a bucket, then put a clean handkerchief inside to wet, place it on your face. Repeat until water gets warm. Then do same with cold water. After that rub this gently in a circular motion until fully absorbed. Do this for 2 weeks, thank me later.

HRich: My dear you ain't watching football for the players benefit alone, you are watching for your own happiness. People have different interests. People have different things they are willing to risk anything for. I can bet you have yours. And remember they just wanted to have fun, they never knew death would come. Anything can kill a man. You can stay in your house and also get electrocuted. So your advice is invalid. I can stay out all night watching football if that is what it takes to watch my team play. If you have nothing worth living for, then you are not fit to live. Thinking about the imminent champions league final in Cardiff, I feel overjoyed and can't wait to listen to the sound of the Champions League anthem with fans screaming and the players shaking their feet in response to pressure and anxiety. Football gives me a reason to live, it brings immeasurable joy to my soul, and if I die watching football, I wouldn't have any regrets. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Once again they have to forcefully eliminate one Spanish team to avoid an all Spanish final.. 10th place Celta vigo already made it to the Semi finals of the Europa League in the absence of regular winners Sevilla. Spanish teams everywhere in every year!!! The Champions League once again is coming to the home of football whether they like it or not! Football is made in the Spanish laliga. LETS GO TO CARDIFF BOYS!!

This is one of the best institutions in Nigeria in terms of infrastructural development. With standard lecture halls, huge entrepreneurial training complex, adequate practical labs, et al. In fact, there is nothing an academic institution should have, that is not here. All thanks to the immediate past Rector of this great institution, Dr. JACOB SNAPPS OBOREH, who, using the school's IGR transformed DSPZ into one of the leading Polytechnics in Nigeria With adequate and standard learning environment. The people of Delta say thank you. God Bless Dr. Jacob Snapps Oboreh for this wonderful and unprecedented achievement in Delta State. We also hope that the new Rector, Professor Job Akpodiete will continue with the development of the school and take it to greater heights. Great DSPZ, Great Nacosite, Great Nigerian Students!! |
