MutantMetahuman: You have forgotten LVG won the FA cup few weeks before he was sacked? And Europa League does not involve top teams in Europe! It involves the failures in Champions League (those eliminated in the group stages) and the middle placed teams in the League. That's not the definition of top. |

chidi4eze: Yea they might. That is through the back door of winning the mediocre Europa League. If you are talking about making the top four in the Epl this season, my brother it's not possible! |

chidi4eze: Lol. Mourinho can't do nada in Manchester United. His time has elapsed. More intelligent and tactical coaches are now in the Epl. Not like when he had only the old Wenger and Ferguson to contend with. There is nothing he can do. Next season, he will sign some players and sell many, then they will still struggle. The third season will be when the burble will burst like always. He is already having issues with players. Saying ridiculous BS about Luke Shaw, calling out several other players for being inconsistent. That's how he tries to divert attention from his ineptitude and deceive some of you with the "We against the World" mantra and referee issues. My dear, I have analysed Mourinho through and through, I repeat he can't do nada at United. Save this post for future reference. Arriverderci. |

MutantMetahuman: I love the way you made your points constructively. Nice one! I wouldn't want to delve into much details, let me go straight to your question and make my points as unambiguous as possible. What I am talking about is, "Is Mourinho doing well at Manchester United right now?“ With 6 wins and 9 draws in 16 games at Old Trafford, Manchester United has never been this bad since the premier League era. They've never won fewer matches in the post-1992 era, not even when they were struggling under Mourinho's two predecessors David Moyes and Louis van Gaal, who has a better overall record than Mourinho after 29 Premier League matches. So that's my point. UNITED HAS NEVER BEEN THIS TERRIBLE! and who is in charge? You are talking about a league cup so many big clubs in England sacrificed to lessen the players work load due to lack of squad dept. And that dept is what Mourinho has at Manchester United. And what about the Europa League? You call that a competition of United’s calibre? Is their any team in United’s class in the competition? Come on man! We are talking about the team with the biggest and costliest squad in the world. And you call winning the League cup a success. It's you who needs to drop your personal affection for Mourinho and be objective. The facts are there for all to see. Mind you, United ain't making the top four this season. I can bet anything on that. |

MutantMetahuman: You don't seem to understand. I said he is now old fashioned. Back then, right from Fc Porto, Mourinho set his team out to be a counter attacking side, all they do is sit back, allow the opponent time on the ball, try to close the half spaces to frustrate the opponents transitional play. Then they soak up pressure and hope to win loose balls high up the field and hit you on the counter attack. Go watch the video clips of all his teams. From Porto to Inter Milano. Same tactics. This method of play sucks the life out of players. That's why his teams are always fatigued during the third season. And that's where the problem starts from in every team he has managed. Go figure! It worked for him then, but right now, it doesn't. Teams now are better equipped and prepared for such opponents. Talking about winning trophies in different countries, it's not something exclusive to him. Any good coach can go around the big clubs in Europe, spend millions of pounds on players, and win a trophy or two after 3 years, then leaves to another big club. You don't have to be a fantastic coach to do that. It's something Carlo has done, it's something Pep has done, it's something Van Gaal has done. What makes you a fantastic coach is overseeing the overhauling of a team, build another from the scratch without breaking the bank and make them winners for a very long time. That's what Pep Guardiola did with Barcelona, and that team dominated Europe for 7 years. That's what Carlo did with The AcMilan of yore. Same with Ferguson, he won the Epl countless times with average players. And he also delivered in Europe. Check Mourinho's teams, whenever he leaves, he leaves behind an already exhausted and overused players. NB: I never said Jose is a bad coach, No way! Not with all the trophies in his cabinet. All I am saying is that football has evolved and Jose has been left behind. He is now a DINOSAUR!! |

A team of players worth €718m, struggling to make top four. And the manager comes out every weekend to say BS. But because he is the almighty Jose, the press won't be calling for his head just like they did with Van Gaal. |

Shitty tactics, United playing like Westbrom or Stoke city. Goal keeper De gea knocks it up to Ibra, he holds up play, plays in Pogba or Herrera, Herrera gives a sideway pass to Valencia and he crosses for Ibra to nod. That's all they do, week in week out. Predictable poo. After 70 minutes, Ibra fails to score, he brings in Fellaini for more aerial threat and bully. The long ball tactics worsens. Fellaini and Ibra begins to push and shove defenders, until they get their way and squeeze in a goal. That's how they have managed to win the few number of games they have won this season. NO PROGRESS! DESPITE HAVING THE COSTLIEST TEAM IN EUROPE, A TEAM BIGGER AND COSTLIER THAN THE LIKES OF REAL MADRID, BAYERN MUNICH, BARCELONA, JOSE MOURINHO HAS A WORSE MANCHESTER UNITED RECORD THAN LOUIS VAN GAAL. The Portuguese boss suffered ANOTHER night to forget as his United side drew 1-1 with Everton at Old Trafford, and this doesn't make for pretty reading. As far as the Premier League is concerned, it's just not happening for Jose Mourinho at Manchester United. The Red Devils might have won the EFL Cup and reached the last eight of the Europa League under the former Chelsea manager, but in the bread and butter of the league - something which Sir Alex Ferguson won a massive 13 times - it isn't going to plan. And what's more, despite spending over £200m in the summer, and having the costliest assembled team in europe (€718), he's now doing worse than the man he replaced in the job. The Portuguese had Zlatan Ibrahimovic's stoppage time penalty to thank for rescuing a point at home to Everton on Tuesday, when both he and his players were left angered by a number of decisions from the officials. That said, though, a disappointing return of NINE draws from 16 home league matches this season is simply not good enough.Mourinho is finding that the job is seemingly a lot tougher than he thought it was going to be. As you can see below, Louis van Gaal won 56 points from his first 29 Premier League games in charge at United in the 2014/15 season, but Mourinho has now taken just 54 from the same number of matches. Culture / Should Christians Pay Bride Price For Non Virgin Women? by Princefrankie1(m): 5:21pm On Mar 25, 2017 |
For many Africans, the tradition of the bride price payment became a subject of serious controversy. How did this idea come about? Some asked! Who made this a tradition and a prerequisite for validation of marriage in Africa, and specifically Nigeria? Some inquisitors questioned! Some Christians pondered, did God give this law as a condition for marriage, or is it a man-made tradition? Time to find out the truth! 1. Bride price is not a condition for marriage but only as a penalty for rape. Exodus 22:16-17: “If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife. If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must still pay the bride-price for virgins.” Deuteronomy 22:28-29: “If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.” You can still pay the bride price and still be denied the woman to be your wife by her father. At the same time, if the man has never slept with the woman, there should be no need to pay money for her. 2. There was never ever a place in the Bible where God commanded the bride’s parent to present a price. It is the groom’s responsibility to bring whatever for the lady he wants to marry. For example, in the Bible was Isaac’s marriage to Rebekah. There was no monetary exchange or penalty between the two families. Affordable gifts were given to Rebekkah’s family by Abraham (but not demanded by Rebekkah’s family). Read Genesis 24:52-54. 3. Bride price, according to the Bible, is all about virgins. Genesis 24:15-16: “Before he had finished praying, Rebekah came out with her jar on her shoulder. She was the daughter of Bethuel son of Milkah, who was the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor. The woman was very beautiful, a virgin; no man had ever slept with her. She went down to the spring, filled her jar and came up again.” 4. Payment of monetary bride price is a tradition and not a direct commandment from God. In some countries like India, a woman actually pays a dowry for the groom and not the other way round. 5. Presenting list or asking for monetary bride price is man made a rule. Therefore, for Christians, it becomes a sin because it’s better to obey GOD rather than men. Acts 5:29: “Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!” Why then do Nigerians make the payment of Bride Price the prerequisite and validation of Marriage? To many Nigerians, if the girls Father/family refused to collect bride price from the man due to some reasons, even though they go around it and do a court marriage, the marriage is invalid. What are your thoughts about this? Should this be so? For the Christians, should they continue to obey this tradition that is man-made? Wouldn't it tantamount to sinning against God? Should non-payment of Bride Price make a marriage invalid? Copied from Naij.com, edited by Op.

Doyin2: Brother, so many Nigerians lack comprehension. Some of them you see here typing nonsensically, are graduates from our excessively hyped academic institutions. Sometimes when I read through their posts on issues akin to this, I feel pity for the future of our dear Country. I am happy there are still people like you out there in the Country, at least, there is hope. As you can see, very few people will like your post, because they abhor the truth and tend to despise anyone who tries to emancipate them from ignorance. Most times when I see them put their illiteracy on show, I feel too weak to even type a reply. I am happy some people still find the strength to type and correct some of their erroneous posts in this forum. You know, so many lads are here not just to have fun, but also to learn. When these young people read through posts like theirs as a reply to an educating topic like this, with time, they too will begin to reason like illiterates with degrees. That is the major reason why it's very important to correct their errors sometimes. And that is why I am glad to see educating replies like yours. At least, you have presented them the rare opportunity to choose between intellection and imperception. I wanted to like your post, but it's useless in this case. I just want you to know that some people acknowledge your didacticism. Well done brother!

This certificate saga is just the commencement of pandemonium and opprobrium for Dino. Anything that befalls him sooner, he solicited. Dino knows trouble is looming. He knows the Efcc has been doing some underground investigation. That's why he came out last week to say he heard the Efcc is planning on a raid and he is ready for them. That's why he has been so outspoken in spearheading the rejection of Magu's appointment by the senate. This is a ploy to make the ever gullible Nigerians think that the Efcc is witch hunting when they finally come for him. How can a mere Senator in Nigeria be worth more than Barak Obama even when he was the President of the richest country in the world. And he flaunts this wealth with recklessness because he is in a lawless country. Boy! Things have changed. Nigeria is no longer a country where politicians siphon national funds and flaunt it without fear of investigation let alone confrontation from secret services. Things have changed Dino! Things have changed! 1 Like |

That's what I am talking about. In a Nation where corruption is as entrenched like the pillars that hold the earth, the more you fight corruption, the more the evil beast of corruption unleashes its bestiality..... Most of these Senators within these pasts years have looted this country dry. Now they are scared of being indicted. Nothing can stop this fight against corruption by the Buhari Administration. Every yam eater will be exposed and hung to dry. Recklessness and nonchalance in every sector will be abrogated, normalcy will return to our dear Country. This is President Buhari's vision for our Country. I pray he lives to fulfil his desires. Unscrupulous Senators 1 Like
