switch360: You no sabi anything!! or you be slave trade from Ghana sef?? if Kanu wey don win atlanta 1996, win champions league, win youth championship for japan , dey dat super eagle team then you sir has no right TO INSULT AND COMPARE super eagle collectively (our national teams )with this small boys!! example- If Ronaldo no fit play well for brazil now does that mean you should compare him with walcot?? Nonesense Would an Argentine compare their fumbling national team with this brazilian team- i doubt!! You are taking it too literal. It was probably just a hyperbole, alluding the tenacity of the Ghanaian boys vis a vis our Super Eagles. But on the real, kanu is old and obsolete, Taye Taiwo always thinks of amala and ewedu after 70 mins of play, the current Super Eagles, yes collectively, are completely useless. |

switch360: Quote from: deor03 on Today at 08:47:16 PM Ghana should loan us these guys for our SUPER EAGLES match against KENYA
Omo, that is prepostrous and ludicous, by jove its impetuous of you!! how dare you insult the super eagles collectively- say dem no dey try now a days does not warant such ridiculous statement. Kanu, Taiya Taiwo , Osaze, Mikel has seen what some of thse small boys may never see till they retire. NONSENSE!! se na name dem dey take win for pitch? Abeg commot for road. Isn't it Taiwo that chased an open field instead of chasing down a Tunisian striker, costing us the game? Isn't the same Super Eagles that can't maintain a lead for one minute. Abeg. |

semid4lyfe: Crap! The guy should shut up and stop talking nonsense. when he won the AYC and won silver in WYC and Olympics, his players listened and were not difficult to coach but now that he has failed, the players do not listen? YEYE!
He has just shot himself in the foot because what he has just admitted is that he selected players who do not respect him and refused to play according to his instructions. It says much for ability as a coach. The guy should 'mechionu' and stop speaking from both sides of his mouth jare. Nonsense! Lol. But the guy has no choice but to select from the pool of players he is presented with, even if they don't listen to him. He has also said all along that a lot of the players don't listen to him; for example he said he told the team and specifically told Taye Taiwo not to aggressively challenge any opponent who has no chance for goal in the box 18. Taye Taiwo and another team mate did the exact opposite, which made the team concede two penalties, costing them the final game against Argentina in the 2005 Under-20 World Cup. |

I feel him, sha. It is hard rearing young African, say Nigerian players who grew up playing ball on the streets of Ajegunle into thinking about the technicalities of the game; it is also hard to make them execute on the pitch what they learned during classroom and video instructions about strategies for each game, similar to the manner in which kids in soccer academies learn the game. Their mentality makes them amenable to individualistic plays, being excessively rugged, and dribbling and dribbling the ball with no purpose for goal, as opposed to being tactical with respect to teamwork and winning, like that stupid Haruna's last minute dribbling attempt in the match against Germany, which cost us the game. That ish will frustrate any coach with intellect--just like it frustrated Siasia. I hope he has a coaching future with the Super Eagles. |

Kobojunkie: Let us go with what you have there for a minute. When we finally lock him up in the case B, and the people extract all they can of what is left of the money he stole. Then what? The 6000 jobs remain? the community continues to reap benefits from the stolen money still? Hey, this is mere speculation. It is practically conceivable that the 6,000 jobs remain and the community continues to reap the benefits of the money, assuming there are dedicated folks in managerial roles who can run the company in his absence; it is also possible that the 6,000 jobs will disappear, and the community should move on. The looter should pay for his crime. |
