My friend didn’t exactly misuse his visa, in fact he has completed his studies and before he decided to marry his wife who is 25 and an African American, he was already studying for an MSc. @seyewest. I got a US visa in 2016 intention was for a family vacation in Florida ,however due to a very tight work schedule and preparation. For professional exams which I just passed I plan to travel now. Here's the challenge
1. Going with the family( wife and 2 kids aged 2 and 4)
2. Traveling via Etihad ( We know there is a pre screening centre)
3. Plan to go to New York and no more Florida cos someone is willing to Host us for free( indicated no immediate or distant relative in the USA also)
4. It's our first trip to the US but not outside Nigeria.
5. Visa to expire in October thus the need to use it
Problem is the rate of Assylum seekers going via New York makes me uncomfortable . note I don't be plans to run or seek Assylum

Don't let people decieve u .... So far u have a visa to the USA .. U can travel anytime and so far u intend to come back after ur intended stay .. U are good to go

This actually happened to my friend
she with her husband and two children got a 2years visiting visa to the USA. due to some financial constraints they couldn't make the travel when expected because the husband lost his job.
the wife(my friend) had an ex in the USA now married with 3 kids who she was encouraged her on the travel and even advised her that together with her family they should move to New York. unknowingly for her the husband saw the messages even though nothing inappropriate was going on between them and he kept it to himself. To cut the long story short the husband travelled to the USA just two weeks ago after telling the wife that he was going for work in any state and Kept the wife's passport, the children's passport including all documents that belong to the wife like birth and marriage certificate etc. the wife is so confused now and doesn't know what to do. he even collected all t
he money she had before leaving. please mods kindly move this to front page as advice is very much needed on what she can do.

He will tell the truth if he is asked...and let him make sure he visits the country he had the fake visa and more countries ... By that time the vo will note that his circumstances has changed .....
