WriterNig:You'll be surprised that many perverts will wish they are in the boy's shoe. Yet, abuse is abuse and it is absolutely wrong. |
This lady truly is a warrior. It takes bravery to fully live with and accept a deformity, knowing you were not born that way. She even had to work on her weight. Now that is courage. |
Cross River on that list pains me a lot. We have little or nothing to show. |
Kriss216:If someone calls your sibling that word, how will you feel? |
A military court in Abuja has convicted Olusegun Adeniyi, a Major General and former theatre commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, and demoted him by three years. In March, a video was leaked online of the then theatre commander of the counter insurgency Operation Lafiya Dole briefing a senior officer about the conditions of troops and challenges advancing into the dreaded Alagarno forest area. The location is where about 100 Nigerian soldiers were killed by ISWAP in a recent ambush. Adeniyi was subsequently removed as commander of Operation Lafiya Dole and transferred to the Nigerian Army Resource Centre in Abuja. The army, however, claimed Adeniyi’s redeployment was a routine exercise intended to reinvigorate the system. Ruling on his case on Monday, the military tribunal found Adeniyi guilty of violating military social media guidelines and ordered that he be demoted by at least three years. Tokunbo Obanla, Adeniyi’s military aide, who was prosecuted alongside the general, was also found guilty and sentenced to 28 days in jail with hard labour. Obanla, whom Adeniyi said was in possession of his phone at the time of the incident, reportedly admitted to posting the video on social media in error. Both convictions are subject to confirmation by the military board before it can take effect. Adeniyi’s lawyers said they would appeal the tribunal judgement before higher authorities. I served in Kebbi state in 2018. I can relate with almost every little thing you wrote there. |
NoFapNairaland:I just saw it now. |
I just joined the thread. |
This could be an extra judicial killing but no one will talk about it because he was a killer. which way Nigeria |
EkopSparoAyara:It's nice to meet you bro. |
That was in 2017. I had written my finals the previous year so I needed to get my hands busy. I heard there was an opening at a hotel in Calabar. I hadn't taken into consideration the nature of the job. My people, I picked up myself, took my bath and was dressed for the interview. Wearing good clothes was a serious challenge then honestly. I didn't know that one is supposed to dress smart. I just wore my faded trouser and an old shoe. I was the 2nd person on the list. The look the interviewer gave me was one of consternation. I did impressed (I believe)in the oral interview. I was then asked to bring a wine bottle from the cellar and open. Na there e happen o. I never knew how to open wine nor how to hold a drinking cup prior to that time. The man just looked at me and said "This job isn't for you". You'll get something that suits you. Even me sef I knew I wasn't prepared enough for the job. I sha left feeling embarrassed that I couldn't open wine with a wine opener. The man showed me how to use the opener afterwards. Another embarrassing experience was the day I went for an interview as a teacher. I love teaching. I entered a taxi that made a big tear on my trouser. My people, I had to go like that. it was an army school and they keep to time a lot. I couldn't tuck in my shirt because the tear happened behind. I went there smiling. I was asked why I didn't tuck in. I told them and even showed them the tear. They laughed and asked that I continue. I answered the practical (demonstration) and written examination well. I was called about 1 week later to work at NAOWA Calabar. I worked there till I left for service in 2018. That's my true life tale. |

Has anyone noticed that there was not one binoculars used by the security men?
They all shot aimlessly. |
Outsiders may not understand that Cross River state has dropped in infrastructural development. The governor has been playing politics with the pandemic. I feel pained that we have two Professors as Governor and Deputy in my state. God bless all health care officials. |
Patience Jonathan will never go to any Twitter to beg for the release of her aides. She will personally go to the station or call the IGP on phone. The difference is clear for all to see. |
I see hypocrites using one scripture to support their discriminatory policy. Jesus ate with SINNERS HOW many times? One even had to abuse an entire race just to prove a point. I wonder if this is how Jesus would have typed or responded |
Families around the world are quarantined because of the Covid-19 pandemic and are now facing the prospect of spending months at home with one another. But it seems some parents are finding it difficult to entertain their children while in lockdown - and have taken to the internet to share hilarious snaps showing how their little ones are wreaking havoc. Parents in the US and the UK, among other countries, revealed how their children have gotten themselves covered in mud, paint and toothpaste while left to their own devices. In a viral gallery collated by Bored Panda, one photograph shows how children used precious toilet roll as a bath time toy and left them soaking in the tub. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8165033/Snaps-parents-world-mayhem-children-causing-quarantine.html

AkeNathan:It is for those in European countries |
The European Space Agency will pay volunteers £12,500 to lie down in bed for two months to test the effects of space travel on the human body. The study simulates aspects of spaceflight by placing volunteers in bed for long periods of time with their dropped to a six degree angle. It involves two groups of people staying in bed for 60 days, and will be carried out by two different teams of researchers working in France and Slovenia. It's not just lying down though, one shoulder has to touch the bed at all times - even when eating, going to the toilet and washing throughout the two months. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-8020055/European-Space-Agency-pay-volunteers-12-500-lie-60-days.html

This is about a man who is hardworking and consistent in ethics and lifestyle. |
Be proud of your legitimate hustle my people. This lady here has a viable and traceable source of income unlike most celebrities whose cleavages are the first thing you will notice about them. There is indeed dignity in labour like we were told back in school. |
In his bid to sound intelligent, he lost every bit of humour. Thank you bro. TrollKiller: |
Thanks bro. It is actually for official work. It has been long I came online. lekjons: |
Bro I finished with a 2:2 in 2016 in UNICAL. I got a job in an army school still waiting for Service. I left for Service in 2018 and I returned in July 2019. I got a job at a bank the following month. I resigned from the job last December to work at a better company. I had no body but God to put in a word for me in all these places. It all depends on God's Grace and your ability to deliver. Just have a positive and winning mindset. Even when you don't win, you will learn. I will be 25 by June this year. BELIEVE!!!!!!! |
Repairguru:I just called you. I will get back to you on the modality for payment and getting the screen |
John Bellion's song Human comes into mind while reading this. Every record by man must be broken sooner or later by another man. |
My Samsung A6+ screen is bad. I am in Calabar and I will like to get it fixed with an original screen. |
