babseg: Abi you sef dey craze?
You are also gullible for believing silly billy.
Bunch of crazy individuals please shut up! If you have nothing meaningful to contribute, you simply leave. How many churches or mosques or shrines have you visited to slam their beliefs just because you think they are wrong? It is not compulsory to comment on a thread, it is not compulsory to believe. Knowledge isn't for everyone. You keep living your life daily without ever seeing the bigger picture. You never ask yourself questions pertaining to ur origin, your nature or even it destiny! If I should ask you, who are you? You'll probably start by telling me your name and things about ur earthly life. You have never seriously asked yourself who you are. You have not asked why humans have had the natural tendency to believe in the supernatural, to worship something. Everyday you wake up and go about your daily routines. If you have nothing to contribute and you aren't willing to learn then leave the thread! |

HenryDion: Well, that's my cent going by the genesis account. Why do you think my reasoning is lame? Would b glad to hear it and also learn. who said it is lame? I didn't. I was glad to see a totally different reasoning from majority. I want to know more and I can't do that if I limit myself with certain beliefs bro. I'm just pondering over that now and some of Billy's posts. I'd like to interact much with you guys. |

HenryDion: "Let us make man in our own image"
Sincerely, the above statement made so much sense last semester in school.
I was alone, my friends were off to some places and at that moment, i needed to be alone. I felt like there were pieces of data in my brain that needs arranging lol..
As i sat, savouring the cool breeze, watching the birds tweet in the trees and drinking the chilled lemon juice in hand. Observing humans like me chatter, walking and some, preoccupied with activities. I began to wonder, there has to be more. I can't just be created just to die. What's the gain? Going through hell on earth, end up successful and then die off?
My mind went to Genesis, the beginning. "Let us make man in our own image".
The word "MAN" was another roadblock. Was man already in existence, but in a different form?
Is like saying, let's create a DOLL in our image. DOLLS are already existing, but needed to be created in our image. If something like MAN was never in existence as at that time, how they(gods/god) be so certain about what they wanted to create?
If i say to you, let's create ZKGEU in our image, you'll certainly be confused cause there's no such thing.
As for gods, creating man in their own image means, man possessing every attributes of a god. The bible acknowledged that but degraded us a little by calling us "LITTLE GODS"
We're not alone. There's more. Pheeew.. Haven't seen this kind of reasoning before. |

Bollinger: Let me follow your logic. The rules defining your "area" says if a policeman stops you on the streets and demands for bribe you must give it because you have no choice. Another rule that defines Nigeria is if a suspect is caught, it is ok to summarily execute them. All these so called rules are normal to Nigerians but i can assure you, they are very abnormal in normal societies. are they found in the constitution of Nigeria? |

Bollinger: Defamation of character is not a criminal offence. Well at least in normal countries. And we all know Nigeria and Nigerians ain't normal. these are the rules governing our geographical area. What do u define as normal? Lemme guess, anything that is not Nigerian? |

Ramon92: Good one coming from the NPFL. We have very good youngsters with the potential to be among the very best in the world, If only our league can be rebranded and made fully professional, with good database and exposure.
I'm sure many people will come and start questioning and doubting their ages, but will be quick to believe and admire the ages and potential of youngsters from other places - Gianluigi Donnarumma of Milan (17yrs), Paul Pogba (23), Harry kane (23), Romelu Lukaku, John Stones etc...
Let's discourage double standards as well as low self esteem but instead encourage and stop badmouthing our own... Oga most of them are now 'oldsters' or 'old youngsters'. |
