I've been getting these messages and I believe some of you are also getting the same messages. This is the handiwork of scammers and not someone in need begging for help. Why did I say this? For one, sending this message to hundreds or even thousands of Nigerians costs a lot of money. They are either sending this one by one at the cost of N4 per message, which cost about N4,000 per 1000 messages. Or they are using a bulk SMS platform to send out these messages. Someone who is really hungry and desperate will not think of spending the little they have on this project because they want to eat first. Hence, this message is a project run by someone with sufficient funds hoping to cash out more than they are putting in. In other words, this is a scammer doing business. A lot of people get emotional easily and will send their hard earned money to these scammers. Please don't. And tell your older parents who easily fall victim to these sorts of things because they trust too easily. These messages are probably sent to thousands or millions of people. That's not money a poor person can utilize easily. Thanks you

waice6571:so you're suggesting they should bend their ass and be f*cked by the west? This is how weak men destroy their country, sell their people for peanuts. |
Brendaniel:the amount of trash those people write as journalists as alarming. Could you believe they interviewed non-ghanaian for issues that concerns Ghanaians? |
Ghana’s parliament on Wednesday unanimously passed a controversial anti-homosexuality bill that has drawn international condemnation. What's this nonsense? The bill is not controversial and the country is theirs. Do Ghanaians condemn Americans for their gay life? Why then should Americans condemn Ghanaians for their anti gay rights? |
SkengRay:seriously. Everyone seems to want to be the devil soo bad. It's the most demoralizing stuff I've ever seen so far. I'm trying all I can to remain committed to this goal. I can't continue to pollute my mind this way again. |
VinnyBaba:Not saying that I'm born again. I just don't feel these songs give me the right things to feed my mind with. |
Music is powerful and ADDICTIVE. You start out not liking a particular type of music and then one day you hit a song you like and from there, you start liking other songs by the singer. And then new songs from the genre. It was like this for me with music. Rap songs was never my thing. I could remember back then in 2010 or 2009. I just wouldn't listen to rap songs. For one, I didn't think it was music. Rap never felt like music to me. And Secondly, I don't want to struggle to understand what was being said. Anyways, I listened to Eminem's Not Afraid and became instantly hooked. I listened to the song almost all through the day. And then I listened to more of his songs, pick a lots of favorites which became my Playlist. I then started searching for more rappers like him and stuffs. Back to 2024 now, I want to change my taste of music. And there's a huge reason for this. Music sends messages to our subconscious. It dictates moods and thoughts and can easily influence how you view yourself and the people around you. I have gone very deep in this rap culture, started listening to songs by the likes of Meek Mill, NF, Juice WRLD, and so on. But when I look at the lifestyle of these people, the way they talk, act and behave, I always have one single thought: "these are not the kind of people I should be drawing my inspiration from" Not to judge but most of these people are not the kind of role models I want or would ever want to look up to. Secondly, their songs nowadays are always very depressing, deprecating and self focused and I didn't like how these songs make me see the world. I realized this was a problem a while ago but I kept listening to these songs because I've grown accustom to them or should I say addicted. But for the last few months, I've been making changes to my music taste. I've included more gospel songs to my library. Thanks to Chris Morgan and others, I now force myself to listen to gospel songs. And it has not really been easy. But I'm happy to say that even though I subconsciously miss those rap songs, I'm glad to be making efforts to listen to different genres now. I'm also listening to more Nigerian songs especially Afrobeats. I judge these are "feel good" songs and most of the time, they keep you in high spirit and probably make you want to dance. This to me feels a lot better than the depressing feelings I get from western raps. Honestly, you'll never know how things are if you're not trying to leave it. A few days ago I saw a friend listening to NF and the first thing I wanted to tell him was to leave these types of music that causes depression. But then again, everyone had their choice and I just kept quiet.

I've been using Instagram for a while and I've seen some really really pretty girls. But now that I think about it, my babe is actually a lot prettier than most of these gram girls. And that's even when they got the filters on. Sometimes, I try to push her to these online modeling stuffs. It takes nothing much other than videoing your face, smiling or eating and stuffs like that. But she no go ever gree. Even to snap na wahala. You'll need to practically force this girl to snap picture. I've never seen anyone sooo pretty and yet so camera shy. I think she could earn some money or gain some success from these platforms but I just can never convince her to try it.

Honestly, I've never seen any uglier style in young ladies clothing. But they seem to like to sew it for almost every wedding. I think it's something for the bridal train or the maid of honor? Nevertheless, I just hate the style with all my heart. I've seen many colors and variations in the style but they all seem depressing to me. Even on one of the prettiest girl I've ever known personally, I still don't find it appealing.

Things are really really getting pricey and to be sincere it seems the prices are increasing every single day. Last time, I bought a bag of pure water for N300. The next I want to buy the same bag of pure water, it was N350. I sha still bought it like that. 3 days later, they announced the new price, N500! That's where I stopped buying. I was already struggling with the N350 per bag. But N500? So now I drink from the borehole. After all others have been drinking from there and nothing do them. Bread Normally, bread of N200 and coke will be enough to sustain you for the day or maybe for the night. I do it this very often. But now eh, I can't even go close to bread again. The prices are something else. I mean the last time I tried it, only 1k bread will make sense and honestly I can't be spending that much in a sitting all the time. So I've left bread behind. Same thing with noodles and spaghetti. So, I'm stuck with cooking regular foods now. And I tend to get most of my food stuffs from the village "yam, beans, garri, rice". We farm these things so we tend to have them in stock. But sometimes you still need to sell. I saw some students already cooking with fire woods instead of gas due to the increasing prices. They go to the bush in the school, either around the school zoo or the botany garden to gather firewoods and then cook at the back of the hostel. Some just use it to parboil their beans before taking it to the hostel to complete the cooking with their gas. Honestly, there's suffering in the land. In my school hostel, electric burner is not permitted but most students are using it because of the price of gas. Even Christian brothers that will obey the rules, some are breaking the rules because of this hardship. Sometimes I imagine what people on the streets will be going through right now especially those beggars. God will help us. For those wondering, I'm a student. And I think most students can testify that they are making heavy changes to their lifestyle right now. If you have a child in school, please do call to check up on them regularly. Send them anything you can spare. E no easy right now. |
Double0h7:don't let anyone scam you though. I think it's best to invest in yourself. Know the ropes of any business before pouring your money into it. Personally, I have the skill. Looking forward to starting a hosting business to host the website I build for my clients. But don't have the money yet. But I think it's best you learn your own lane though. That way, you can also take informed decisions. |

chatinent:Your mind is warped. If people like you are judges, people will never get justice. Even if the husband was maltreating her, it doesn't justify killing him. Nothing matters when you take a life. Even in self defense, you can still get to do time. |
