Okay so a year budget was edited out of his 8 years to prove a point? Is it wrong to ask the present day government to cut the excesses, he is fighting for you, did you bother to check how damaged the government house he met was? Did his 8yrs budget remain like that? And what was the state of Nigerian economy compared to now? Obi wasn't perfect but he was better than Mbadinuju and he finished all projects Ngige started. He didn't do much in terms of spending and waste and that's why he's hated. Anambra education improved during his time and he kind of handed over schools to missionaries and did same for some hospitals which was smart, most civil servants and pensioners were owed before his time and he took his time to clear all of it before handing over. Doctors that were on strike eventually went back to work when he paid, so what's the problem? He saved a lot of money and did a public audit of the books while handing over, no other governor has done this. The state of Nigeria today is not feasible for the reckless spending Tinubu and his gang are doing and all this spending is borrowed money. Peter Obi wasn't perfect as a governor, he had lapses but he's the best man to save a dying country. All this unnecessary spending 'll never happen under P.O.

You can't say you want Nigeria progress and support Obi

Listen, the reason they went on strike was that hospitals, schools were funded but the criminal heads were embezzling the money, ambulances.. Obi had to go through religion (the church) so he made them the chairmen incharge of these hospitals and schools. The criminals were angry and had to go on strike!.. that was when the revolution took place.. now look at the evolution of the health and educational sector in anambra state.. Anambra is leading in these sectors sir!

Obi moved the financial burden of education from Government to Church and instead of spending on running the schools he was just giving out cheques, computers and buses to support the Church owned schools. He did it in health too. I remember when we argued about it here on Nairaland that some Anambra people were condemning Okorocha for investing too much in schools, building hospitals and free education calling it Almajiri governance. What Peter Obi did has helped his successors who now have less burden from Education as Church is doing it for them.

Why not use the fund for health sector then?
