INDOMIE9090: showing me bereee is like showing makoko, they are insignificant. You might spend years in Ibadan without knowing where it is located. Ask your ibo men who don invade Ibadan like refugee Yorubas have abandoned those buildings for them. If government decide to bulldoze and level those areas today, na dem go still cry of victimisation. |

Every Yoruba town (except Lagos) has this sprawling trademark slum. . Most of these area that you consider so big (as an Igbo) is a tiny part of the city in SW. |

TOPCRUISE: What we came to view is different from the comments been shared. Photos of union presidents was the thread. But tribalistic opinions, issues and comments and replies was what was laid bare. The only problem I have with Igbos and their cousins is the fact that they still want an average Yorubas that read all these comments everyday not to be tribalistic. Na Nairaland change me I swear. |

But all of you that are calling him Messiah today cursed him when he was the governor so what changed?? Has he governed another country since he left office in Anambra to show that he would have been the Nigerian Messiah?? |
Politics › Re: Soyinka Calls Buhari ‘idiot’ For Banning Social Media In Nigeria In 2021 by Pristine664: 11:04am On Nov 14, 2023 |
yommen: For you, everything is tribal. Why are you always pained gangan Na wa o! But these Yorubas you are talking about still voted for your Obi o. Obi got enough required from SW to win but Tinubu's voting strength was in the north. SS and NC were supposed to vote Obi but the votes was split. I mean how could APC have won Rivers? PDP won Bayelsa? PDP won Akwa Ibom? APC won in Benue? Plateau votes highly split.
Tinubu won but not with so much majority in SW while Obi won with overwhelming majority in SE. Out of 6 states in SW, Tinubu only won 4, Atiku won Osun while Obi won Lagos. Obi cleared all 5 states in SE with 95% Tibubu hardly won with such margin in SW, his purported strong hold. SS and NC were supposed to be Obi's strength but he didn't do his assignments. Tinubu did his assignments in the North generally and got a share of Atiku's votes.
Now, how is it Yorubas' fault your Obi lost? Notwithstanding the fact that Ibos voted for Obi overwhelmingly, a good number of Yorubas still voted for him. So it's not Yorubas fault Obi lost cos many of still voted for him. So, your accusation of voting along tribal/religious lines applies to you Ibos more than Yorubas but you don't see it. Too bad. Lol some of you don't understand that it's beyond politics. If all Yorubas had voted against Tinubu and Tinubu lost the last presidential election, similar insults (but with bragging) would have been directed against the Yorubas. I saw a post election thread of 2011 and I was wowed even though Jonathan won 5 out of the 6 SW states. |

RingRoadCartel: They did it so that "their brother" can become President.
But the real question is, now that Tinubu is the President, how has the life of the average yoruba man improved? Won't their odds still be the same as that of other tribes? If that's the case, then why vote along tribal/religious lines?? But Igbos voted along tribal and religion lines too. Meanwhile, most of the Yorubas around me were deceived into campaigning and voting for your fraud Obi. I'm glad none of them is spared in all these insults. |

Kukutente23: There's something about these corny souls 🌽 It's how they are at home with their barefaced group hypocrisy.
Prof Soyinka was well and alive when Buhari was on seat and sending the bird to the gulag. He never uttered a word. The man is out of office in less than six months and you've suddenly found your voice to call him names.
We see this disgusting behaviour among the Zombies who chanted darling daddy and sai baba for 8 years only to repudiate the man like they've never known him once he left office.
This character makes me realise Zombies are not to be taken seriously when it comes to nation building.
What I'm still curious about presently is what exactly drives them? I'm really interested in knowing where they derive their energy and what principles(if any) drives their group interest. Lol unfortunately most of these people helped you marketed your fraud Obi as if their existence depended on it. It is a good thing that many of them will still read comments like this. |

I pray the re-union also portents a great future and some how fosters peace between the Yoruba nation and the Igbo nation and by extention the rest of all the nations in our dear Country Nigeria.
God bless Nigeria. God bless well meaning Nigeirans. God bless the President and His administration. Edo is not in any position to unite Yorubas and Igbos because they have recently shown in recent time that they are just like the Igbos in their unwarranted hate against the Yorubas. |

dominique: For the sake of the kids, I hope the man is innocent
Even without carrying out an thorough autopsy, the police can examine the body carefully to confirm if she truly died from ligature injuries. If you watch true crime series on tv and youtube, you'd understand how common cases like these are. I've watched countless cases that happened in US, maybe it's because they carry out thorough investigations and leave no stone unturned. There was one I watched where a woman poisoned her husband with fetanyl overdose and called the cops when she woke up the next morning and found him unresponsive. She even wrote a book about how she was coping as a widow with small kids and was interviewed by their local TV station. What she doesn't know are the police were carrying their discreet investigation because fetanyl is a highly controlled drug and they have to investigate where he got it from without a prescription for . They went through the man's internet history, not a trace of anything related to fetanyl or any drug. They went through the woman's history, what did they see? Different searches on how to buy fetanyl without being traced. Imagine if the police had concluded that it was because the wife called them to come and check on her husband, that's how she would have conveniently gotten away with murder. Omoo Can we now revisit Mohbad's wife too?? Just saying sha |
