I have witnessed the way Ecobank treat their customers, I closed my acct with them in 2013 cos of their customer service. Had to tell everyone around me that its the worst bank when dealing with customers. Maintaining my GTB, Diamind and fcmb; I can boldly tell u diamond and gtb Customer service is top notch compared to Ecobank. They should work on their staffs. Kappish

No matter what, a customer care agent is a customer care agent and no matter how rude a customer is, it's their job to be super nice.

Interesting post here, but the heading could have been better put. Let me explain.

Technically, there are no 'legitimate' canine breeders in Nigeria, this is because there is no law regulating the industry yet, neither is there a robust database of purebred dogs. The Rottweiler, Boerboel and German Shepherd Dog associations/clubs in Nigeria derive their 'legitimacy' from foreign bodies.

What we do have in abundance are LOTS of Puppy Millers, Backyard breeders and a very few hobby breeders.

I go out of my way to explain to folks that I am not a breeder (though at no point in time do I own less than 8 purebred dogs at a time, and they have bred unauthorized before), I am an animal behaviorist & pet broker who happens to be a dog lover. The refusal of majority of dog owners to make this distinction is what has brought us to where we are.

So, are you a breeder, hobbyist, puppy miller or a puppy broker?

I think we're missing the main point.

I'm not bothered about what the op used to make his topic.

I'm concerned about the guy who called 80% of dogs here mongrels.

For all I care the op could have used anything to classify them...he didn't ask anyone to buy puppies. All he wanted was answers to questions, which most of us failed to see that point.

Many of you keep mute when newbies come here to ask questions and are the first to jump out to make a comment when someone is saying it wrong.

You saw magpies' mistake but you didn't see that lousy dude's.

visible differences...

the snout....or nose of the bull mastiffs are rumpled and shorter. flatter.

thats all i know. never bred a bullmastiff

Here is my GSD, he is 8months old and hs never barked, I don't know if that's normal, he is a slant back imported breed from Serbia and his ears re not fully erect but he is very energetic and aggressive and kinda distructive dts why I leave him on chains...

this issue needs alot of questioning to be able to really say...there are alot of reasons a dog wont bark.

on average, twice a year. some once...and on rare occasions once in two years.

basically, dogs come on heat only if they are healthy. so a delayed heat could be as a result of an infection.

and on mating, you can mate as many times as the dog is ready to...its just that youd exhaust the male which is not advisable.

NB: always ensure you mate to improve what you already have. let there be a reasonable reason for your mating. not just crossing any dog you see.
