First, This post is for new puppy owners. If your dog is already on heat and you don't know about this, then you really shouldn't have a dog, Lets get started. What does it mean when a 'Dog is on Heat'? Heat, or Estrus is a stage in female dogs when they are more receptive to mating. During heat periods, the vulva gets swollen and blood drops from the vulva. There are three stages of heat Pro-Estrus Estrus An-Estrus Read more on dogs heat here How to tell if your dog is on heat Up Next: What do do when your Dog is on Heat. http://www..com/2015/04/what-does-it-mean-when-dog-is-on-heat.html |

Like a bad vending machine that takes your money without coughing up the product, a damaged memory card can seemingly eat your data. In some cases, you may be able to stick your hand down the card's proverbial throat and get it to cough up data that you have saved on it. The first thing to do is test the memory card using a USB memory card reader and your computer to see if it will recognize the card. If your computer system doesn't recognize the damaged memory card, use the Windows "chkdsk" program to repair it. Step 1 Insert your memory card into a USB memory card reader. Plug the data cable for the USB adapter into a USB port on your computer. Windows automatically recognizes the device and assigns a drive letter to it. Double-click on the drive letter that Windows assigned to the device. If you can access your data, the card is working. Step 2 Click the Windows orb on your taskbar, if nothing happens or you receive an error message when you double-click the card's drive letter. Type “run” (without the quotes here and in subsequent commands) in the “Search programs and files” text box. Click the "OK" button to open the Run pop-up box. Type “cmd" in the text box and click on the "OK" button to bring up a command prompt box. Type the "chkdsk" command and specify the drive letter to check, followed by "/r." The resulting command will look like this example: chkdsk e: /r. Press "Enter" to execute the command and check the memory card for errors. Step 3 Wait until the "chkdsk" program finishes checking your memory card for structure corruption. Press the letter “Y” on your keyboard to allow the program to continue checking, until you recognize the files and directories that you have saved on the memory card. When "chkdsk" is finished checking the memory card, you're prompted to save lost chains into files. Click the “Yes” option. In a few moments, "chkdsk" will display all of your lost data files that have been repaired on your computer. Step 4 Switch to the desktop and double-click on “Computer,” and then click on the drive letter that Windows assigned to the memory card. All of the files that were repaired will be visible, and you'll be able to access them again on the memory card. Step 5 Remove the memory card from the memory card adapter. Unplug the data cable to the memory card adapter from the USB port on your computer. Insert the memory card into the mobile device that you normally use to access the files on it. http://techlodger..com/2015/04/how-to-repair-damaged-memory-cards.html |

Before your female actually comes into heat you may notice some of these signs listed in order of occurrence. The female dog usually will have their first heat {period} at about 5 months to 1 year of age depending on the breed. When your dog has her heat {period} it will last about 3 weeks First signs of heat are Personality change up to a month prior to coming into heat. Your female may act shy for no reason or cranky with other dogs or people, some dogs even become more affectionate. What you are looking for is just a personality change. Swollen vulva Up to a few weeks prier to being in full heat your dog’s vulva will seem larger and puffier then normal As she gets farther into her heat it may become loose and floppy in the vulva. The main thing again to look for is a change in the vulva. Increased urination Some female will start urinating more often, beware this is to leave her scent, to tell all the boys she is coming into heat. Blood from the vulva You may notice some red blood on the floor or on your dogs bedding. At the first sign of blood we will say this is the “first day of heat”. The dog will ovulate approximately 6 to 18 after first sign of blood. As your female gets closer to ovulation the bloody discharge may turn pale pink, straw color or disappear altogether. Your dog is most likely to get pregnant after the bleeding has stopped. So just because you see no blood dose not mean it is safe to let you female dog around other dogs. Once your dog gets close to ovulation she may become more friendly and playful with other dogs. The only real way to tell when your female dog is ovulating is to take her into the vet’s office and have them check her progesterone level. http://www..com/2014/04/how-to-tell-if-your-dog-is-pregnant.html |
