adekolaelect:Asslicking fulanis and betraying Southerners and middle belt is not strategy. It's evil my brother. |
PureFace1:If you have purchasing power, over 90% of your people won't be living in slums. Instead, you will be living in decent houses like people in SE and SS. Your people are deep in multidimensional poverty, that's why they can't help living in slums. Purchasing bawo, you dash monkey banana Meanwhile, building our production bases in the East doesn't mean we won't have warehouses and distributors moving the goods across Nigeria. |
Ologundudu2020:Yes, to a coward, what she is doing is stupidity. She is fighting for what she believes in and hasn't cowed from harrassments meted out on her. That's the Hallmark of great people. She may be a girl but she is more "man enough" than ten of you ![]() |
attackgat:Bold and courageous girl. I like people that are stubborn when they're on their right! The Akwa Ibom girl should be advised to open a Twitter account i.e. if she doesn't have one already and cash out from her growing popularity. She deserves some consolation earnings for her troubles. She should also seek asylum from Western countries, citing persecution. She has strong ground to get it. |
Ok |
sreamsense:Why are you people always full of hate and bitterness? A company decides to relocate from a hostile place and you started crying? Is it your company? Don't the owner have right to relocate wherever he wants? FYI, Igbos are now generally divesting from Lagos. Be it industries or real estate, it's only a matter of time before you guys will turn the place into mass of slums. It is this sort of hate and bitterness that has made your towns to remain stagnant. Take an aerial view of your so-called cities and tell me if they're not glorified slums. |
Many Nigerians were shocked and disappointed when Tinubu subtly threatened the judiciary. However, for some of us who are keenly following political events in Nigeria, we actually saw it coming! When Edwin Clark was asked to comment about Tinubu's government, he said he won't say anything until the tribunal delivers its judgment. When Onaikan was interviewed on national TV, he stated similar thing, that he is fully waiting for the tribunal to make its judgment. When you add up other loose ends, you will easily decode that Tinubu obviously has no effective control over PEPT. To worsen matters for him, Obi has continued to gather damning evidences before the PEPT. Also, Nigerians has successfully kept the issue on limelight. If Peter Obi is your average Nigerian politician, they would either have bribed with massive amounts or even oil blocks. If that doesn't work, they would have opened his dossier at the EFCC & he would be intimidated into giving up. However, Peter Obi has conquered greed and thus can't be manipulated. The last option they're obviously hoping on, is to try and impress the masses with their limited time. So that when the verdict eventually turns out against them, they won't obey it and the masses won't have the passion to organize mass protests against them. Interesting times lay ahead! |
jahsharon:Shut up your dirty mouth, kiddo! What do you even know? Courts have vacated presidents in other African democracies like Kenya and Malawi yet you feel it's impossible in Africa's biggest democracy? Tinubu already betrayed his fears when he covertly threatened the judges. He knows that Obi has a very strong case and the judges have refused to accept bribes. He is currently running kitti katta trying to impress Nigerians with his borrowed time. |
Bestmanfornow:Omo, this life no balance at all. Ofenmanu people will be like; how can low income people be living in this kind of posh big buildings while most of their people live in dilapidated mud houses with rusted roofs Aah aah, ejoor o, e be like every Igbo man na billionaire true true ![]() |
Abagworo:There is no non state capital in Nigeria that has a more beautiful city than this. Even state capitals in the SW don't have such layout. People that still live in dilapidated mud houses but you will see them running their mouths on nairaland as if Igbos are their mates. |
Musrataman:Lol, you're so ignorant yet still proud on top of it. However, I will educate you for free. Sudan is actually far ahead of Northern Nigeria in virtually everything! 1. Northerners travel to Sudan to acquire tertiary education. 2. They're not completely landlocked like Northern Nigeria. They've got Port Sudan on the Red Sea which they use for international trade. 3. They've got crude oil, unlike Northern Nigeria. 4. They don't have almajiris or 10 million out of school kids, unlike Northern Nigeria. 5. Northern Nigeria is actually the bottom barrel of the world in everything. I don't think there is any country you're better than! You need to return to primary school and start getting educated from there. |
Native fulani villages are gradually springing up in the SW. In the years to come, you will have fulani indigenes of SW, same way you have fulanis in the NE and NC. Maybe, Arewa and Oduduwa are better off sharing a country under a confederation. At least, to prevent what would likely be a holocaust. |
Princessstee:Where did I say that Igbos have bought up the whole Lagos? Illorin is yorubaland but ruled by fulanis. That's a fact! The reason why Russia went to war against Ukraine was to stop Americans or NATO from being very close to their border. If push comes to shove, North will eventually let go of SE and even SS, but you see SW, they will fight to the last man standing than let it go. Losing Lagos port will make them the most wretched nation on Earth and they can't even imagine that. |
vannessa7:What a great satire you wrote here ![]() |
complexstuffs:12 years old boy, go and return the phone to your mother. |
vanunu:You're right! It's obviously Britain that caused anarchy in both countries. Nigeria is gradually tilting towards implosion, especially with growing religious fanaticism and ethnocentrism. Maybe only a good judgement from the judiciary will save it. |
adekolaelect:Where did you see me defend Emefiele? I'm only telling you how unprincipled and cowardly most of you behave. I repeat, if Emefiele was from the North, you guys won't ask for his head like you're doing now. Even Buhari that almost destroyed Nigeria, are you people not afraid to call him out? Yet you kept saying that Jonathan was very corrupt and should be jailed. |
ArewaQuitessenc:Thanks for your honest opinion about Aba. It's obvious you were surprised to see a large city with fairly tall buildings and not a place filled with bad roads, refuse and shanties as you were made to believe. Aba is a unique city in Nigeria, and alongside Onitsha and Nnewi, they're the indigenous production centers, capable of making Nigeria great like the Asian Tigers. The average Aba citizen believes in hardwork and perseverance. The youths are contented with doing spectacular works for little profit, while focusing on mass production to break even. You can check Azikiwe by Kent. That's the cloth production capital of Nigeria. There are hundreds of shops here producing shirts, trousers, bedspreads, boxers, suits, lab coats and overalls etc. You will see bails going to different parts of Nigeria and beyond! Also go to Ariaria and find your way to Bakassi area. Here, you will find hundreds of shops and warehouses producing shoes, bags and all types of leather works. You will also see lots of them being packed into bails for distribution all over Nigeria and beyond. Aba has lots of production hubs where different things are produced. Unfortunately, there is another section around Cemetery where fake and substandard things are produced. However, it's the job of government to stop illegal activities going on around Cemetery area. Aba has vast potential and that's why Barth Nnaji built Nigeria's first big power station there, to serve the large SME's. There are also industrial estates at Osisioma, Eziama, River layout and Umuokohia. In these places, you will find breweries, bottling companies, flour mills, Vegetable oil, glass production, machine tools, drugs etc. Even though Igbo language is spoken widely by default, virtually everyone will easily switch to English or pidgin if they realize you're not Igbo. They don't discriminate against outsiders because lots of people from different parts of Nigeria come to the city to buy goods everyday. Enjoy your stay! |
Ofunaofu:There is no love lust between those people but they always show fake love towards fulanis out of fear. The Fulanis already have one foot in their region via Illorin. They also know without access to port, they will become the world's poorest country considering the large population of Muslim North. So, they're already seeing Lagos as forever part of theirs. Also consider how Dangote and BUA keeps building in Lagos region while they avoid SS and SE. They know what they're doing! |
adekolaelect:Where did I mention anything about "victim game"? I only pointed out the type of treacherous and unprincipled lifestyle you people always exhibit. |
Nigeria used to share a lot in common with old Sudan. They both had Muslim North & Christian South. The South is where the oil resources is, but the North enjoys it more. The North oppresses the South. Sudan's military was once reputed as one of the strongest in Africa and it even had functioning military hardware production based in the North. In other words, the South stood no chance in terms of military confrontation. However, these factors didn't stop John Garang, the brave military general from South Sudan in confronting North Sudan. What ensured was a bitter civil war that lasted for many years and ended with breakup of Sudan. Nigeria is currently where Sudan was. Northern Nigeria is not even as sophisticated as North Sudan. Neither was South Sudan as sophisticated as Southern Nigeria. Think about that for a minute! When people like El Rufai are promoting their islamization agenda with so much impunity and arrogance, I hope they can spare a moment to research about Sudan. Here are some other quick facts: 1. US, Russia, EU and the Arab world won't be so interested in defending Nigeria like they did in 1967-70. 2. The middle belt, will rather fight against the Muslim North today than for them like they did during the Nigerian civil war. 3. Yorubas dream of oduduwa everyday but lack the courage to fight for it. Any serious war in Nigeria will see them carving out their own country. 4. Igbos have a large diaspora population today that will not only be willing to send funds to their region for arms and food but will also help to mobilize foreign support. People like El Rufai should be advised before it's too late. |

optionalY09:You have problem with thieves yet you voted for Tinubu? Is there a bigger thief than him? Continue deceiving yourself. |
adekolaelect:Stop lying! Go to Jos, Benue, Taraba etc and see how much they regard Igbos. Now, tell me places in Nigeria where Yorubas are regarded? The last time I checked, Ibibio people chased you guys away in Eket and destroyed your shanties for constituting nuisance. You've attacked Hausa, Fulani, Ijaw, Igbos etc in Lagos. There is nothing special in Lagos and Igbos will soon stop investing there so you will turn it to slum like you did to your other settlements. |
BetterHeadline:Every informed person in Nigeria is now watching them with suspicion. They promoted Igbophobia while using it to subjugate both SE and SS yet shamelessly asslick North. I don't know if it's the Peter Obi effect or the fact that educated and enlightened youths have taken over the narrative, as against the traditional media, but yoruba propaganda is being dismantled. Go to Twitter, you will see that most of the influencers are now confronting yoruba bigots and they're gradually becoming villains. Could you imagine that these people called Hilda Baci Igbo, and told yorubas to promote Dami, a Yoruba girl, so she can beat omo Igbo record. Everything to them is tribalism and bigotry. They hate SS as much as they hate SE. Two yorubas are currently struggling to destroy Hilda's hardwork and you begin to wonder, why can't these people break thousands of other guinness world records? Why must it be cooking? Then you begin to see it's all about envy, jealousy, wickedness and pure evil against others. |
Creeper:GEJ was never a bigot. Since Tinubu wants to do worse than Buhari, Nigerians are watching to see how far he can go. |
ImperialYoruba:I shouldn't spoon-feed you. Go and check their profiles yourself. Even Deji Adeyanju has stated that Tinubu chose him based on tribalism. Since 1999, president and CBN has never come from same region. Buhari didn't even try to change it knowing how sensitive it is. Let's see how far the bigot president-select will go. |
Why should anyone or corporate organization put the picture of a rogue and mandate thief? Worse still, the man is so ugly. |
Nigerians thought Buhari was the most nepotistic ruler to ever to president over this country, but they're going to be shocked. His successor is about to beat his record. This man once said he doesn't believe in one Nigeria and his actions are already proving it. Everything about him reeks of ethnocentrism. From using tribal phrases to promotion of ethnic sentiments in his region. Now, he has commenced the full yorubanization of Nigeria. He removed Emefiele and replaced him with a yorubaman, not minding that there were more qualified Hausa and Igbo as directors! Deja Vu right? Now he has suspended NNPC GMD, Nigerians should also expect another Yoruba man to replace him. The situation reminds me of a mad man with lighter in a gas station! |
otokzmail:Truth is bitter and facts are stubborn! |
Something ridiculous is happening in Nigeria. When Goodluck Jonathan was president, Yorubas kept attacking him daily, along with his ministers from SE and SS. Those from the North were never blamed. The likes of Sambo Dasuki, Maina etc that committed massive frauds were never attacked by them. Then Buhari came, they turned full circle and realized that it's ministers and Nigerians that must be blamed when things go wrong, and not the president. Now, they're celebrating the suspension and arrest of Emefiele as if he the one responsible for all of Nigeria's problems. Yet Buhari that employed him and gave him orders, non of them is even mentioning him talk more demonizing him. If Buhari were to be from SS or SE and Emefiele happens to be from North, all their attacks would have been on Buhari while Emefiele will be ignored. I hope Nigerians are seeing this dangerous pattern. |
XY23:Don't mind them. Clutching at straws for relevance. How does two paid girls on Twitter become Obidients? Talk more of uproar? Delusions at its peak. |
