miteolu:So that fulani herdsmen will murder him in the night? Small businesses are crumbling daily because majority of businesses are now running at a loss. Government has to subsidize fuel one way or another otherwise the economy will tank further. |
Hahahaha, these TUC and NLC don Carry Tinubu handicap ![]() Dey don carry the mandate thief dey go where he no know o ![]() Oboy, this movie go sweet die, things are about to get more exciting ![]() The incompetent so-called president and his bunch of nuisances are quick to tell you how fuel is cheapest in Nigeria but they always forget to add that our minimum wage is also the lowest. Now they've increased our fuel price to be at par with others, our minimum wage must also be at par with others too. God bless TUC! God bless NLC!! God bless Nigerians!!! |
drlateef:You're not informed, Angola is still paying subsidy on petrol, gas, and kerosene! |
richie240:Continue deceiving yourselves with those stale bigotry. Nigerians who are suffering the pains of this wicked and illegitimate government will respond in due time. What is currently going on in Senegal should be a lesson, but I guess you all are like the proverbial fly that follows dead body to the grave. |
okeysoninv:You're completely ignorant and deluded. Angola, Libya, Gabon etc. are all African countries that produce less crude oil than Nigeria yet they're subsiding petroleum products for their countries. They all have higher minimum wages than Nigeria! They have constant electricity unlike Nigeria!! Stop licking Tinubu dirty anus, you bigot! |
Angelfrost:You're right, Buhari may want to remain aloof. However, it depends on how Tinubu and his camp decides to play it. A full blown attack coming from Tinubu constantly is likely going to get some response Buhari or those that will represent him. He could afford to ignore while he was in office because of he was powerful then. Now, he is vulnerable and constant heckling from agbado people will make him become a disgusting villain in the eyes of all. He wouldn't want that while Jonathan remains respected. So, I don't see him turning the other cheek if Tinubu decides to give him a dirty slap ![]() |
homosapien:Are you sure about that? If he has the solution as you stated, he wouldn't have announced end to subsidy in his inaugural speech. He should have first discussed with NLC and also provide cushions to absorb the shock. Now he has caused crises, hope he can correct his mistakes before it worsens. |
iwaeda:Sure, we are saying the same thing. Tinubu is obviously unhappy with Buhari and how he set him up for disgrace. So, he is definitely going to come for Buhari. Unfortunately, Buhari doesn't seem to be street smart enough to withstand Tinubu so he would either cowardly run across the border or hide behind his ethnicity to fight back ![]() |
Tinubu is likely the most frustrated president in the world today. He emerged as winner in an election that is widely believed to be massively rigged. His opponents have dragged him to court and strong evidences are now emerging which shows that his party, APC truly didn't win the election. To Make matters worse for Tinubu, his predecessor placed dangerous landmines all over his path to ensure he doesn't survive. Buhari ruled for 8 years, he paid for subsidy throughout his tenure but ensured there won't be money for Tinubu to continue with subsidy. He even stated that he has removed subsidy but cunningly waited until he is out of office before it will be implemented Unfortunately for Tinubu, he was too desperate to enter Aso rock and thus ignored all the red flags.Having met an empty treasury, Tinubu couldn't help announcing to a shocked nation, on his inauguration that subsidy has ended. Fuel prices instantly skyrocketed across Nigeria and Tinubu who is already struggling to gain acceptance found himself facing severe criticisms. Furthermore, NLC has called for the "mother of all strikes" and it seems the country is about to be shut down. In other words, Tinubu was forced into a fight with Nigerians from day one and it seems Buhari carefully planned it like that ![]() Tinubu understands he is in a very tight corner, between the rock and a hard place. This morning, Tinubu's camp has fired the first shot aimed directly at Buhari. Knowing the kind of person Tinubu is, one can easily conclude that this is just the beginning of what is going to be an all out attack on his predecessor. So, Buhari and those in his camp should get ready. Does Buhari even have the capacity and firepower to stand someone who has seen it all, beginning from his days on the streets of Chicago to the murky waters of Nigerian politics? Would Buhari run away to Niger republic as he once suggested or would he stand his ground and fight back? |
Mynd44:The fact that Nation management endorsed is an indication that Tinubu shares same sentiments. The Nation and TVC are Tinubu's propaganda machinery and every politically aware Nigerian knows that! |
Hahahaha, Tinubu has finally realized that Buhari sold him a dummy. I can visualize the bitterness and anger in the writer, who is obviously writing on behalf of Tinubu. Anyways, the two rogues deserve each other and hopefully Nigerians will be entertained as they go for each other's jugular ![]() |
danvon:Tinubu is just a demented old man, he can't do more than a dead rat! |
God have mercy, what did I just read So, Yorubas have become so insecure and primitive to this extent??!!! All I could feel for this unfortunate writer is pity. People reading this Lamentations will also feel pity for what Yorubas have become. The other time, we saw many Yoruba men crying on national TV and begging Tinubu to save them in Lagos. They claimed that Igbos have completely displaced them in Lagos and they couldn't afford to rent shops or live in nice apartments anymore because Igbos have priced them out of their reach ![]() I know that enlightened Yorubas who are travelled would be severely embarrassed by all these Other Nigerians too will be shocked to see Yorubas feeling so inferior and weak Lol, the talk that they see Igbo Giants in their dreams is actually real ![]() Thank God Igbos have never attacked or fight anyone in their lands. Whatever we possess, WE BOUGHT FROM THE NATIVES AT HIGH RATES!!! This foolish writer doesn't know how stupid he sounds. If Igbos are making the value of their properties to rise, isn't it supposed to be a good thing for them? Everywhere in the world, people pray for investors but these ones are so miserable because of Igbo investors. I don't even blame you primitive bigots, rather I blame fellow Igbos that invest among these hateful people. I will rather invest in Cotonou than anywhere in SW Nigeria. Their people out of greed will sell lands to Igbos and use the money to marry new wives or do owambe and once it's finished, they will start hating on Igbos for "taking their land". If not for Igbos, their entire towns will be completely filled with slums. Take a look at any drone picture of say Abeokuta, Oshogbo, Ore etc and see how disgusting they look. Igbos should stop investing among these people o. What a shame!!! |
drlateef:Angola, Libya, Gabon etc are African countries that produce less oil than Nigeria yet they're subsiding the refined products for their people! Trying to brainwash Nigerians into accepting a situation that will kill them is evil. Let these wicked politicians think out ways to stop oil theft completely. Stop the corrupt subsidy cabals by making it more transparent. Employ community vigilant groups in border communities to stop and confiscate smugglers transporting fuel to neighboring countries. Etc. That's how people with wisdom and compassion act. You don't send 90% of Nigerians to excruciating poverty because you can't use your head! |
richie240:Strike and protests will start on Wednesday, if they born you well come outside to make noise and see what will happen to you. Common sense should have told you that people in Lagos and Abuja are suffering more because of the long distances they commute everyday. Anuohia werey! |
It's very annoying when governors demolish nice structures. Why not confiscate or sell it if government money was used? Na wa o. Just like Uzodinma that demolished in Imo State too. Rubbish! |
klismann12:These rogues are doing terrible damage on Nigeria. The country has become one of the worst banana republics in the world today. Consider these damning scenarios happening within one month: A minister of aviation scammed the country by claiming they've established an airline whereas they only rented one aircraft from Ethiopian airlines and calling for celebrations, they returned the aircraft to the Ethiopians. INEC conducted the worst election in the world and hired lawyers to defend their fraud. Even going as far as denying their own result sheets. World newspapers reported that a former drug baron won Nigeria's election. CBN issuing its rate and denying it completely .Among other shameful things now happening in Nigeria. If these bandits remain in government for up to 6 months, Nigeria will become the most disgusting country in the world! |
Hahahaha, parachoko and fellow APC goons are now on overdrive trying to justify rubbish. Firstly, they paid influencers in Benin republic to start Twitter campaign on how Nigeria subsidy is benefiting their country, then they brought the thread to our attention in Nigeria to see why subsidy must be removed ![]() Again, they've brought another propaganda from Angola. They didn't even acknowledge the part where their authorities said they will REDUCE spending on subsidy, NOT REMOVAL o ![]() "...Subsidies on other petroleum products, such as diesel, cooking oil, and gasoil (a type of diesel), will remain unchanged, he said." Angola is still paying subsidy on diesel, cooking oil and gasoil. Yet Nigeria has long removed subsidy on all those fuels!!! I won't be surprised if they bring other propaganda and dubious news from Cameroun or Ghana tomorrow. Very predictable and confused clowns 🤡🤡 |
BTCJagaban:Common shut up that gutter you call mouth, what do you even know?! You just open your mouth waaa and be talking rubbish on what you don't even understand. |
Thank you, Femi Falana! More reasonable Nigerians are now speaking out against the evil subsidy removal. |
dominic17:God bless you! I can see paid APC goons running riot here and trying to confuse gullible ones. So, the same rogues that embezzled billions of money won't steal the subsidy money? They've not done anything to cut down on their extremely extravagant lifestyles but they want poverty ravaged Nigerians to sink deeper into more excruciating poverty. Wicked souls! |
Hahahaha, see how INEC, Mahmood and Tinubu are disgracing Nigeria and making us a laughing stock?! Can you just imagine how ridiculous these entire thing is sounding? INEC and all the lawyers representing them are very foolish to be saying all these nonsense. INEC is supposed to be an neutral umpire that shouldn't side with any party but see what is happening Anyways, wherever he is, the criminal that conducted this disgraceful election must be having sleepless nights already. He thought Obi is like Atiku that will retire to Dubai. |
LOVEALAIGBO:Tinubu employed some psychologists that are busy manipulating the minds of Nigerians. They know people here largely have short memory and they can't think critically, so they keep repeating terrible lies everyday and hoping that Nigerians will eventually believe them. They would have succeeded easily but unfortunately for them, Peter Obi is not only clean but also very stubborn. |
walex2:Can't you see you're braindead? How can you see evidence before you yet you're disgracing yourself. Spit! |
Pls what's the average IQ of Nigerians? I'm guessing it will be among the lowest in the world. Otherwise, I can't believe that a poor man who can't even feed his family or provide basic things for them would support the government on subsidy removal. Like seriously? No other country on Earth will pass through half of what Nigerians are passing through in the hands of their demonic rulers and still remain docile! Many people I know in Lagos and Abuja are currently living in deficit. That is, they're spending more than they're earning now! Only transportation and food alone has taken all their income. Such grueling situation is apparently not sustainable. If they remove subsidy, bear it mind that they will definitely loot the money! So, only gullible ones are supporting these wicked politicians. Every Nigerian must support NLC now 💯. If it means staging protests, please come out in full force! If it means staying at home, pls comply 💯. After all, it's an opportunity to save money from transportation now it's so unaffordable. A sensitive and compassionate government will first provide cushions before attempting to remove subsidy. They should also fight corruption first. Reduce their crazy salaries and bogus allowances. Stop constant travels abroad. Stop oil theft etc. All that will help in stabilizing our economy. Not this evil plans to make every Nigerian dirt poor while the politicians and their families swim in massive wealth. Enough is enough! |
Rehkina:Dear Angel, You can't just open a new account yesterday and start begging today. Exhume your old account so we can understand who you are exactly. You could possibly be a Tinubu supporter who helped to bring this suffering upon Nigerians, and if that's the case, then you deserve whatever unpleasant experience you're passing true. Nairalanders should stop giving money to fresh accounts. Meanwhile, I support NLC on this call to strike. They're busy brainwashing the masses that removing subsidy is in their best interest and the gullible ones are believing them. Almost every serious country pays subsidy on critical areas of their economy including United States. The same politicians that are still stealing in billions are telling you there is no money?! The same politicians receiving crazy salaries and bogus allowances are saying there is no money except the poor let's go of the only little benefit they get. Why not ban use of foreign hospitals by politicians? Slash their outrageous salaries? Prosecute criminals that stole billions and stop massive corruption? But they want a poor Nigerian earning 40k to let go of subsidy. Even when life is already unbearable for them. Wicked and selfish politicians!!! |
LegendHero:That was 16 years ago!!! Yet, today, you're supporting the same INEC despite conducting even a more disgraceful election after receiving billions of naira?! If truly you're a patriotic Nigerian who wants this country to develop, you will be encouraging justice and fair play. You will be condemning Mahmood for being such a rogue. The just shall live by faith. |
tonytony208:Lol, they will spend more money on transportation and food than even their salary. Then they will look for other means to subsidize their miserable lives ![]() Condemned sufferheads. All supporters of these rogues in government will remain miserable all the days of their lives!!! |
Amaly:If nothing concrete is done to seriously turn things around, this evil contraption won't survive for long. No nation with so much evil and wickedness like Nigeria ever survives for long. It's only a matter of time. |
Amaly:Because of bigotry and primitive clannishness, those reprobates will prefer to suffer to death. They will reap from their evil deeds ten fold, it's only a matter of time! |
