speedyboi: Lemme summarize my point with this apt quotes from amazing filmmakers.
"What others have built for themselves is theirs. If they invite you, it is on their own terms. Build your own institutions Africa!" - Mildred Okwo
"The Oscars is not my benchmark. The Hollywood has done very good for themselves. We are trying to build that here. We are trying to build an industry that can stand by itself. Award ourselves, credit ourselves, and appreciate ourselves." - Genevieve Nnaji
Now that's all I'm saying.
I agree with this.
But here's what I'm saying.
In traditional Africa, you are not seen as the "ultimate hunter" if you have not killed an elephant (Ódé á pérín). Not that you have to keep looking for elephants to kill. You might not even be around regions where elephants wander but when you come across one, you don't run away - you try to hunt it (even if you're already a celebrated Lion hunter).
We have to build a platform for ourselves in Africa to celebrate ourselves. But if and when the opportunity comes to grab an Oscar it should not be something we should deliberately ignore (even if we have a credible platform for celebrating our own excellence).
speedyboi: My fear has been confirmed again! Now the film visually looks bad. Anymore disappointments? I don talk am.....abnormally delayed release date is a bad omen
sucre2: God! you must be a professional photographer to take those shots with a Lumia 520 because i own a Lumia 1020 with a 41MP and the photos i take with it is shit considering the quality of the camera. Any assistance ?

Venus rotates very slowly. By the time it has completed one revolution around the sun, it would still be yet to have made a full 360° rotation about its axis.
