You're very funny.. You call that charade a primary election, where out of 12 aspirants, 11 opted for direct primary and only Aketi wanted indirect primary and APC national body had to impose his wish on everyone. Even a dunce who's a sitting governor would always win an indirect primary because the delegates to vote are fellow politicians, loyalists and appointees of the governor, where the state money would be given to them as a thank you for coming. You know nothing about Ondo state, just focus on your state.
I am a Nigerian and can focus on wherever I want, you can't do anything about it.

For the party to do his bidding means he's a very strong man. You can vote him out in the next election if you can. We all know that he's the next governor.

Are you an indigene or resident of Ondo state to arrive at this conclusion? I'm guessing since the wife is of your ethnic stock, that makes him automatically good.
Tribalism talks again, shows we are really a backward nation.

If Aketi is bad, how did he win the recent APC primaries with a landslide?

The government breached the contract agreement at first, a programme that is meant for two years, they extended it all because of election campaigns, of course it won't speak well of the government if they disengaged the volunteers amid election after they made promises to the volunteers during election ' *YOUR PERMANENCY LIES ON YOUR VOTER'S CARD*.
I don't see reason why the government can't give these sets of youths jobs or rather a grant, why being so wicked and insensitive
How many would they give grants? 500,000?

As the first set enjoyed, I would love to see another set enjoy too.

If you ask most of the present Npower beneficiaries, they would tell government to give them 600k and close the programme.

So what about those billions stolen by the said government. Are u saying is that if they should give them grant to start there own business after serving the country twice. How much is 30k per month? I know how much I spent on data, feeding, my mother, sisters, brothers and friends in a week. I am one of the npower volunteers, I started my business after a yr as a volunteer, but is possible for me bcs am still still single. Many are married and the stipend was not enough for feeding alone. If government want to lift them from poverty, I see no big deal in giving us grant even if z 200k or more.
Why not blow whistle and collect 10% of the money if you are so sure?

Be honest, when you signed up, weren't you aware that it is for 2yrs?
Was there any agreement of 200-600k for business?

Be honest.

I will tell you what is fundamentally wrong here. The same people told the Npower beneficiaries that their voters' cards is their assured way to permanency when they knew that it was impossible!
Why taking 500,000 unemployed graduates off the streets for two years only to return them to the same place? What have they solved in that regard? Taking another 400,000 unemployed graduates off the streets and return them to the streets after one year! That's madness!
And yet, individual could be allowed to steal as much as 100 billion naira!
They probably shouldn't have taken the offer in the first place in my opinion.

So many things are wrong in this country especially unemployment, the Buhari government is really trying in that regard.

How many have benefitted from government before Buhari came in? Sure-P by Jonathan was a huge fraud but nobody complained. Let them do their 2yrs and allow others do theirs.

I've modified my initial reply to you. I'll still tell you the fact that you are ignorant by using that word "free 30k". It is an insult especially to those beneficiaries in the health sector who worked both on some weekends due to the zeal they had and the lapses they saw in the health sector. Listen carefully... Federal government should pay them their outstanding stipends and give the batch B their devices as promised... Talking about keeping and understanding contract terms. Then exit them in peace. Your country is a failed system. Do you understand me?

I'm not interested in your political bigotry of Jonathan this and Buhari that. I'm above such idiocy you are trying to drag me into.
Kindly remodify your post with extra insults, this one isn't enough.

If it isn't free, why not resign?

Stop using that word "free 30k" don't be ignorant. Some beneficiaries worked very well for whatever they got yet still owed. In case you don't know and I'm 100% sure you don't know..that some units will suffer when some beneficiaries exit the program.
Something is fundamentally wrong with your country and you know it. Prof yen yen yen.
If you wanna make a sensible argument, I would gladly oblige, if you wanna throw tantrums or insults, I'm also gonna be there for you.

Let's be rational (use your brain) for once. Did the federal government give a 2yr duration for the programme or not??

What is fundamentally wrong here if not for Nigerians that despise due process?

When Sure-P by Jonathan came out, did you know anybody personally or from your village as a whole that participated? Why didn't you rant and make noise then?

Is it because Buhari is the most transparent president ever that you guys wanna make noise?

Reply me with facts and not tantrums.

Since u don't care abt it...then why are u disturbed abt pple that are doing theirs to earn money
1)Lol...So the technologies that u are using was given to u free right?...So what's so bad abt someone using other people ... U are even using Americans as an example...Can u Compare the technological advancement of Nigeria to USA.. when Charles Babbage created the first computer,Africa was thinking abt fighting wars and conquering villages. So u'll Na expect Nigeria to boost past other countries that have been developing ICT for over 200 yrs.. I'm sha waiting for ur own technology... maybe when u do urs..it will be able to leave the corner of ur house... Mtcheew...be there complaining abt Nigeria using other people's technology as if it's only Nigeria that's using it...abeg face ur OS and stop disturbing us
2) Another nonsense talk...So in Nigeria...where there is little or no Jobs , u expect a Nigeria to code for fun..I ask u again...Will fun give him money...Shame nor dey catch u sef... comparing America to Nigeria as if their economy is the same with ours... someone that is coding for fun most likely have other Jobs dey do to support them...or come from a rich family.. Will a jobless Nigerian with only a coding skill think of fun??
U Jus dey talk like say u nor know country wey u dey..If to say na code for fun Mark or Bill Gates dey do...dem for nor become richest in the whole world so wetin u come dey talk again?
3)Ahhh....Osanobua...So a CS student is now an authority for u concerning developers.. U nor even type CS graduate.. Ahh.I seriously hope that CS student is good at what is doing.. otherwise na disgrace for u...CS student wey never enter life...Even if u have to use CS student as an example, u should have at least stated the works that he has done that has advantage of the "so called developers"...has the CS student ever built a well recognised software?...what abt an OS...Na u dey talk abt reading ability and u dey quote CS student like say him na Mark Zuckerberg..
4)So in ur mind... GitHub, Stack overflow don't have Nigerian programmers there...Abeg focus on ur CS abeg...and leave Nigerian developers alone
Don't mind those that always speak bad about Nigeria.

No light to practice, expensive data, Jobs that state Junior Developer with 7years experience in React, C#, Java and Python grin, buying of advanced courses on Coursera etc.

In Germany, from age 7-10, students are segregated into Horschulle (science), arts and crafts, sports and finance. You start coding if in Horschulle from 10 or less than.
How can you compete with them when you wrote your first Hello world at 19 or 30?

Nigerians are hardworking and resilient. Let's not talk down on ourselves.
