Nigeria has long expired. The youths don't care. The youths are only interested in online rants and tribal bigotry, who would bell the cat?

When I think of men like Nzeogwu, a youth who almost succeeded in liberating this country, I weep at the quality of today's youth.

Someone would come to nairaland and call himself pigipobhunter, arewabushboy, ipobhunter etc

Rest on Nzeogwu

Info tech advancement means matches can be transmitted live globally and draw in staggering revenue. Clubs are also exploiting the advertising opportunity football followership commands to help brands reach out to a wide audience.
Great analysis. I also think that the money is corrupting the game. Gareth Bale seats on the bench all day long and pockets his 650k Euros weekly. He doesn't even care about the game anymore but the money. Similar with most clubs and players today. Pathetic.

Wonderful player.

I always wonder what JayJay Okocha would cost today. Truly, your generation largely determine your level of success.

Most guys that won world cups in the 70's and 80's are average financially. I'm pretty sure that those from 2010 upwards can never be average all their lives.

Congratulations Osimhen, well deserved.

It's better you retire the great San Iker. Watching you play for another team breaks my heart, just like the way my heart was shattered when Gonzalez Raul my Madrid idol played for Schalke 04.
Jose Mourinho really destroyed our legends but it was all good in the end as it set solid foundation for what we are enjoying today.

Hala losblancos, Hala Madrid, Hala LosVikinos.

If Nigerians knew Buratai and Buhari were Sunnis it could have informed them to choose better at the polls. Look at how they wasted to Shi'ite for blocking a road and allow other muslims block road every Friday.

The title is 9 things to know about Akpata not 9 achievements of Akpata.

There is a big difference.

Many read, few understand
I guess you are referring to yourself. I just want to know why it is important that we know he is a redeemed member. Just like saying things to know about president Buhari.
1. He was a former head of state
2. He's a honest leader
3. He's a Sunni moslem undecided

The 3rd kinda looks out of place to a sane mind.

First of all, Israel is worse than all these countries when it comes to race. They see Africans as dogs. Even 5hr Israeli chief Rabbi calls blacks DOGS and monkeys.
Secondly a do you know how many of your blodas live in Muslim countries such Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE, Qatar Turkey etc.
Stop posting trash about topics that you are clueless of.
Israel has more moslems and has the largest mosque on Earth. You further authenticate my point. Lol @ bloda, English master.

99 percent of the people against Trump are Christians. 100 percent of Mexicans are more Xtian than you will ever be and they are against Trump. 99 percent of people from Latin America are Xtians and they are mostly against Trump.
98 percent of the people that will vote in the election are Christians and most will vote against Trump.
So get ready to jump inside the Lagos lagoon once your demi God TRAMP is voted out.
Notable response from a religious bigot cum tribalist. Your moniker makes me laugh grin. Go to Saudi Arabia oh ye moslem.

Who cares? They all had their chances to better the society for good. Atiku was busy privatising Nigeria's assets and making billions off it. Why didn't he change Nigeria for good then? Kwankwaso tried in Kano, but could have done much better with the resources at his disposal.

APC and PDP, no difference, just a bunch of clowns looking for the opportunity to steal.

The present HOH directed the president to give every Nigerian palliative of 50k to cushion the covid-19 menace. Isn't this wonderful?

brotherly poverty did us more harm than good even the so called elites were affected they take advantage more because of unpredictable nature of our economy. The developed world already have a stable economy so that integrity rather than exploitation is key to succesful lasting in the businesses. Thanks
Nigerians are the ones that create artificial inflation most times. We are the ones that makes our economy unstable. What is making rice expensive if not wickedness? CBN released over $2bn in form of loans and grants to rice farmers. They are busy buying keeps up and down.

The whites are way better than us in reasoning and have good conscience when it comes to fixing prices. Even their government over there regulates prices regularly so that if you are Nigerian minded over there, you won't even carry out your wicked plans there.

Nigerians should change and stop thinking that by buying cars and building houses to intimidate your family members you have become successful. A successful society is one of equity, equality and peace.

The bolded is very possible especially in Nigeria where cost of production is staggering compared to countries like China.
If you have been in any production system, you will know.

Your other points are valid though.
Oga, all my points are pretty valid. I have been in production since 17, started with Avanti stylo Biro/Plastic factory. Wages are pretty small in Nigeria compared to say China or even Vietnam, someone paid a farmer #2000 per week in my presence. I know lots of farmers that were very poor before the ban of rice importation, they've all built houses and married new wives with brand new cars in Ebonyi.

Am I against prosperity? No! Then what am I against? I'm against wickedness. The only thing that makes production quite expensive here is power and many areas are now having at least 6-7 hrs of light daily.

What else makes rice production expensive? Government assists them with loans on a regular basis, investors are building state of the art rice mills to make production cheaper and of high quality, what else? Kindly reply.
