I recently replied my email now. If you are going to work on medical devices and biotech, it will be nice. My team and department just approved full 100% for two Nigerians (lady and guy) and they will join my team for this semester.

At EMU, we currently don’t have master or Phd degree programs in Biomedical engineering we only have it at undergrad level. I think some universities have it in TRNC. If you find yourself in TRNC for that program in another university you can always make use of my lab and also join us. The two guys offered full 100% scholarship will work on rapid detection of prostate cancer from urine using the sensors we would develop.

Each semester, we do offer FULL scholarship for students with good results in our department there are few things we consider and majorly will be research based.

Dont forget at EMU you will be paid for each research paper you published. Here is currently what EMU pays you irrespective as a student and for conferences student can get one time support. For each of this, Turkish goverment also pays you alongside provided the address of your publication follows the Turkish location. All these must be reputable to benefit!

The CAC document of his business, his ID that has his signature and any other important business related document. He should also write a sponsorship letter for you disclosing that he will take full responsibility of your studies.

Honestly speaking, you should be happy that you were granted a place to study online for the winter session than deferring your admission.

From now till when the lectures start, make arrangements for a good network or stable power supply. If possible, move out from your area to a better place or even change the network you're using. We're in uncommon situations and we need to make some adjustments.

Above all, be prayerful and optimistic that the embassy opens soonest.

From my experience, regular visit to south Cyprus; friends there, some students that moved there and cousin that own a business (British); both southern Cyprus and northern Cyprus are nearly the same in terms of job especially black and brown collar Jobs considering job availability, pay and living expenses...that’s just honest situation.

However, the scenery I have explained is based on the average for either Cyprus.You may succeed beyond average and you may fail beyond recognition...no matter what don’t include fraud or scamming in your pathway to success ....

my humble advice is if you are a lizard in your country you can’t turn to Aligator or Crocodile abroad...

If you want to apply for south Cyprus visa; visit their consulate in Lagos they will be happy to attend to you; that’s the legal way to go about it.

Your research area is quite impressive. I have couples of PhD students working on functionalised polymeric biomaterials to check their anti-proliferative activities against human lung cancer, skin cancers and breast cancers.

To do this type of research, you must have access to labs to undertake Cytotoxicity assay tests, Ex-vivo human skin permeation studies, Cell viability assay (MTT assay). Also, you must be able to apply and have access to the following: UV–Visible spectroscopy, FE-SEM, EDS, TEM, XRD and FTIR analyses to characterize your prepared anti-cancer materials.

Basically what we do: we blend various drugs, metal oxides or plant extracts with anticancer activity, such as doxorubicin, paclitaxel, platinum complexes and medicinal plants containing curcumin, resveratrol and gallocatechin etc with a biocompatible polymeric solution such as chitosan, pullulan, alginate via a carefully designed encapsulation strategy. Then we perform In-vitro release studies, Cytotoxicity test and Ex-vivo human skin permeation studies to understand the inhibition rate of the cancer cells and toxicity to normal cells.

I believe human skins are easier to get from the Hospital, you may look at various polyphenol-based plants around you and see if you can extract Curcumin.

Curcumin is a natural polyphenol compound that has extraordinary intrinsic properties such as anti-inflammation, antibacterial, and anticancer activity and blends it and tests its efficacy on various skin cancers. What do you think?
