charlesemeka85: won't you love the super eagles to have depth of talents just as the les blues,3 lions, orange boys or the samba boys?
imagine qualifying for the world cup and important players like ekong, ndidi and oshimeh sustains injuries that will keep them out of the tournament and we don't have a good depth to pick from to replace them? Depth is good. No sensible fan don't want quality depth. But at CB, we can only play two at a time based on our most used formation of 4-3-3/4-2-3-1. In a 3-5-2, we can always shuffle also. We are quite stoked at CB. Any player coming will have to bide his time. |

safarigirl: the thing is, what we have in the team is sufficient.
This isn't five years ago, when most of the team had aged considerably, this is a youthful team, so one would have to work twice as hard to get into thiss team, and to be sincere, the immediate needs are a midfielder and a striker, the defense has no immediate need, so, Dominic will be chilling for a while. Well said. People may forget we have enough options at CB. - Kenneth Omeruo - Semi Ajayi - William T. Ekong - Chidozie Awaziem (who is also an option at RB). Even Leon Balogun is left out these days due to his Brighton situation. We can now afford to leave him out as we have quality options. Na Back-up striker we want to settle first. Then an attacking midfielder and others to follow. Don't forget we also seek another Left back. |

komekn: I find that delusional.
Any player not on his like list he generally denigrates particularly when they are not born in Nigeria.
The exceptions are when they have performed so well he then changes tact to evasion. I personally find your submission preposterous and desperate. You say this simply because you don't like him. He has always shut you down when you talk trash (as usual) about our Nigerian players not born in England. In all my time of viewing this thread, I can comfortably say that the young man called TheSupernerd aka Nerdie is your biggest nightmare on here. He is, so much that you have to cook up lies and nonsense to tag him bad but I guess it is all futile. Haha. Give it up mate, you got nothing on that young man. He schools you all the time. Hahaha. |

No problems, Una go miss me for this thread. Haha. Please don't leave oooo. I believe it was TheSupernerd that started this and now Darkelf has capitalised and named you to the Ivorian carpentry faculty. I believe Nerdie said you are a celestial carpenter, Lol, so I dont think you should be named to such list. You are their god. Nerdie also labelled Darkelf a local carpenter so I think Darkelf should be on one of the lists. Haha. Just my five cents. |

Christianity Etc › Re: 10 Things Christians Should Avoid In Church For Their Own Good. by profmathsland(m): 9:07am On Nov 17, 2019 |
You forgot to add this one:
Using the church as your drop point for badly torn and worn currency notes. Several people are fond of this and I wonder how they feel comfortable giving out such shady looking naira notes as offerings in church. Well, the envelopes they use aid them in such shaa.
Meanwhile on Point no 7, I must say it is important for a church to emphasize a culture of keeping to time. Honestly such shows the Organisation and order of that that church. You cannot just run services anyhow always having inconsistent and different closing times. If it is a miracle and holyspirit special service, then that can be excused as time is expected to be overshot but for normal services, time must be adhered to.
A truly organised church is conscious of time. So the fact that one should not make it a habit to check one's wristwatch or the church clock all the time should not mean churches should not take the time durations of their services seriously. |

holaxi: My girlfriend and I have being together for almost three years now. We've had all the moments the good ,the bad and the ugly.
But recently she met a guy who asked her out, she refused his advances but the guy and her spend so much time on calls and chatting which I don't really like.
I've talked to her so many times about it but if she listens for a week the next week they are back in business.
Last week we were chatting and she just went offline I tried calling her to know what's up only for her number to be busy for like 20 mins. When she came back online and I told her she said she wasn't on call with anyone.
When I probed her further she said she wanted a two weeks break that I complain too much and I don't trust her.
I apologized to her so peace could reign but since then I've started losing interest in her. Young man, I will make this short for you. Let Her Go! Believe me, you won't regret the decision. Time will speak for you in the end. Let her go now. If you stay, you relinquish the power of the relationship to her and she will keep doing as she pleases not minding how you feel. She's simply being a b*tch. Let her go NOW! |

Joebie: Which kind prediction be this?.. What did Holland just achieve? Wetin Nigeria go do? Win AFCON? "be back" for AFCON? At least make person understand, so when e happen we go say u talk so. What rise exactly? How can we measure "rise"? You say u don master the art at least make we see am, then we go write article for your head praise u instead of you... I have been observing this thread quite so well and only comment occasionally but I must say it seems you just don't want to get off Nerdie's back simply because the young man exposed you to be some hard core Tammy Abraham Fanboy who would probably stand with Tammy over the Super Eagles. I just clicked on that post Nerdie quoted and it dates to as far back as August 2018 and from that timeline, he was having this conversation with Charlesemeka85 who didn't see Holland qualifying for Euro 2020. So I ask, wetin concern you for nerdie's post? Can't you just let the young man be and post your own? Many of us enjoy that young man here so much okay so if you are jealous, go spray it somewhere else. Thank you. TheSupernerd, please ignore Joebie. He is obviously a troublemaker which is quite surprising seeing how he normally minds his business. **Back to ghostmode** |

TheSuperNerd: It is true K.Nwakali hasn't lived up to his potentials yet. He is yet to truly blossom. But he has gotten a chance again at Huesca. I say we watch and see.
Chukwueze also had his initial struggles. He signed his first pro contract over a year behind his mates, K.Nwakali and Osimhen. He was being left behind but look at him today. He towers above them all.
Even Osimhen had his struggles in Germany before he picked up the pieces in Belgium and have since landed in France with Lille.
I think Nigerians are giving up too early on this lad. He is still 21. Let time be the judge. This is exactly why I follow your comments so religiously. You always have a tone of hope for our young lads even though you don't deny the fact that the lad in question truly hasn't lived up to expectations. Supernerd, I feel you bro. charlesemeka85: Ex Nigeria U17 and 20 defender Lukman Zakari made a shock move to Spanish Laliga side Real Betis from unfancied Latvian side FS Metta, a team that almost dropped to the second division at the end of last season in Latvia.
Zakari joined the team last season but his move happened with just few games till the end of the season, hence he didn’t get to play in any of their remaining games even though he was registered by the team.
Many didn’t know that shortly after he made the move he was few details away from joining champions of Africa Esperance without even kicking a ball for his new team. The move didn’t happen as both teams fail to agree on terms of the deal particularly on the structure of the payment of his transfer fee.
As expected the disappointment made the 21 year old to rebel against the Latvian club but after a method with the management of the team and his team of advisers led by his mentor Mohammed ‘Mowiz ‘ Suleiman he returned back to Latvia to resume his career at Metta.
” I remember Mowiz telling me to give it my all at Metta and forget about what happened in Tunisia that even though Metta isn’t one of the biggest team in the country, I can still standout if I play to my potential. He advised me to make up with my agent, the club and those I offended when the move to Esperance broke down”, Zakari revealed.
The over six feet tall defender did just that and on his debut for the team against Daugavpils he was pivotal to the team winning the game by 1-0 and he followed it up with another man of the match display against Riga even though they lost 1-2.
He took it to another level against Ventspils in his third game for the team which they won 2-0 and earned his third straight man of the match award and team of the week nomination.
News started spreading about his performance particularly his ability to defend and attack when the need arises. So much that against RFS he scored a brace to help them draw 2-2.
A move to MS Ashdod was suppose to happen two months ago but the move came almost same time as the interest from Real Betis who have been tracking him for three months, the same period where he made the team of the week in the league ten times in 13 games.
Scouts of the team watched him and were entirely pleased with his composure on the ball and his ability to play from the back and a move was sharply agreed on and last week he arrived Spain for medicals.
However before leaving Latvia he went into the record books as the first player to appear in the team of the week 17 times in 20 games and his move was also the biggest transfer from the league to a top five league in Europe. TOTW 17 times out of 20!!! Crazy potential. Looks like another Amuneke boy is about to emerge as another of Nigeria's great defensive hopes. Sir Nerd will love this very much. |

Icon4s: Well I am not just trying to make excuses for Manu but the fact that he lost 3 of his regular Defenders days to the kickoff is definitely a factor to consider.
Also world over, U17 sides are typically poor in Defending. Yes Boss and Father to the nerd. Yes, I concur. Those certainly are factors. In all Manu has been able to raise another fine generation and I hope most of the players go on to big things. But the trend of our cadet amd junior teams hardly producing quality defensive talents continues. I just hope for better defensive response in our next game. The team is really really good and I am not stunned because I know the attack and midfield we parade in this afcon are stronger and deadlier than the ones we paraded at the Uefa assist tournament and Wafu B afcon qualifiers. |

As expected we are a super high scoring side. Our current U-17 is built to outscore the opponents no matter how many we concede. But we need to improve defensively and that goalie beta wake up or make way.
We have a great attack but leaky defence. The team will get even better and more monstrous as the tournament goes. Well done boys. I like the fighting spirit despite the attempt at robbing us. |
