LagosismyHome: Hang it there...surely this will pass and ILR will set every Tier 2 free. Amin. Please can I get a car and insurance with my international license and provisional license? Or do I also need to have a Nigerian license too |

bigtt76: What line of business are they into? By contract I mean the terms of your employment with them because there's no way they will give you a Cos for 5 years without any form of contract. Also didn't you negotiate your wages with them before leaving Nigeria? It's an health care visa, I do domiciliary care. |

LagosismyHome: There is a lot of modern day slavery with this tier 2 , its very sad to see.... employers are just exploiting immigrants left and right in so many ways. I hope anyone in that shoe 5 years fly by so quickly Imagine threatening to send me home because I fed a client's dog 3 timea instead of 2 while other senior colleagues feed same dog up to 4 times |

bigtt76: Joooooor what kind of visa sponsorship arrangement do you have with these people that they're holding your balls tight so? The threats are too many and looks more like abuse to me. You may have to report them to the authorities if you think your visa sponsorship is genuine and prepare to make the move away. I didn't sign any contract with them. They gave me a 5 years COS, no relocation package or anything. I have been staying in an hotel with my family since I arrived and getting a place has been very difficult and the company said they can do nothing about it except giving me reference if a landlord accepts and no landlord is willing to accept us right now except we pay 6 months upfront or have stayed up to 6 months in the UK. It's like they want to get rid of me and are looking for any flimsy excuse to do so |

Estroller: Yes you can change jobs and your dependants can continue on their current visa and renew at expiration using your new COS. Okay thanks |

Hello guys. I posted about driving bruhaha where I worked. Although my company advised me to apply for a provincial license which I have done, I noticed they have been very cold towards me since then. They find fault in everything I do and threaten to send me home at any slight instant. They are delibrately frustrating me. I get accused for things I didn't do and I am not given a chance to defend myself. Currently I trek several miles daily to see clients because my company said I can only buy a car until I get my pass my driving test and I can't use my international license. They paid me without a pay slip and wen I requested they ignored. I was threatened that I will be sent home if any report comes about me. I am tired. I just called another company who are willing to sponsor me after an interview.
My question. Can I go with the new company because I have only worked for a month with my current company. What about my dependents, do they need to apply as well |

progress160: Hello guys. I have a serious issue. I arrived the UK few weeks ago. My employer wanted to give me the company car today for visiting clients and told a south African guy to accompany me to test my driving. It was quite different from the manual car i drove in naija and I had issues putting it in gear one. The guy just looked at me for close to ten minutes as I tried to put it in gear one in the roads in and afterwards he shouted on me to come down tgat that he is going to report me to the office that I can't drive. He drove to the office and worked in to discuss with the boss. My boss didn't wait to hear from me and said I have to go back to my country since I can't drive. I insisted I can drive. She said she can't enter the car to test my driving but my manager convinced her to and joined at the back. She however explained how to put it in gear one and I drove them for a short distance.
She said I should come and drive her husband round the city tomorrow to prove my driving prowess. She insisted i get a car immediately and said my case will be determined tomorrow.
I heard the SA guy is bringing his sister-in-law to the company. Don't know what to think right now or what to say to them tomorrow. I need advice Thanks guys for your advice. I didn't drive the husband today. The wife said no need that I can't drive a manual car. The husband said they don't have an automatic car they would have given me. He advised I apply for a UK provisional license and get an instructor to teach me so I can buy my car when I have a UK license. He said for now I should get a bicycle and recommend were to get cheap deals. He also said he will limit my clients to places close to where I live. I am greatful it turned out this way. I had feard the worst but thank God it went well. thanks everyone for your concern and advise |

Ralphlauren: Hand on heart. Are you really sure you can drive? Is driving a major requirement for the job?
I suggest you familiarise yourself with the UK highway code and watch videos on YouTube on how to drive on UK roads. I can drive an automatic transmission car very well but not perfect with manual. Yes it's a requirement for the job. |

john3ce: Good day Family,
Please i need guidance on how i can convince the Nigerian institution i graduated from that i should be handed my transcript so i can uploaed it on ecctis platform as requested. The school official in charge of transcript had said they don't issue transcript to students, that can only be mailed to the body requesting it. I cannot download it from the school's portal and i need a signed copy for myself.
Please anyone with ideas on how i can make my school issue an official copy to me.
Thank you. You need an insider to help you get it out. My school doesn't give as well but I paid extra cash to an insider an got it. |

dee1504: 1. YES. Each application is a separate application but can be linked to the main applicant via CoS, so same account statement can be used as long has it has the required amount of money in it
2. You can apply for visa at any time as long as all your documents will be ready on the date you booked for your biometrics.
3. This question is not clear. Will is expire or has it expired? If it will expire before your biometrics date, please get a new one to avoid stories that touch.
Read for more info: https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa/your-partner-and-children Thanks for your response |

Hello guys. Please I have a few questions
1. Do I have to upload account statement for POF on each of my dependants application?
2. My POF will mature in about 3weeks time. Can I apply now and wait for biometrics date which may fall wothin the POF maturity date so I can upload the account statement during biometrics.
3. My police certificate will expire on the 6th of June. But I want to apply with it now without uploading the SOA since it's not yet mature. I will be uploading the SOA via assisted service during biometrics. Is this okay |

progress160: Hello, guys, i have been a silent follower of this thread.
i applied for jobs for the healthcare Visa and got two offers. company A has started processing my COS for about 4 weeks now. they mailed me some days ago that they want to reapply again to see if it will come faster(about a week ago). company B just got their license after several months and mailed me that they want to start processing my COS. will it be okay to give my details to Company B to go ahead with the COS processing since company A has already started but its taking time. will there be any issue with the move?
please its urgent as Company B is waiting for me to send my documents Please I need more input on this guys |

senny: I don’t think it is a good idea to send your documents to company B. Most especially if you have appended your signature on any document with company A. But if you have not gotten your signature on any document with Company A, then go ahead with company B as well. Anyone that comes out first. Best of luck
If you don’t mind you can share these companies websites make we sef apply Thanks for the input |
