What you said initially is that you can't get any infection from the toilet but only sexually transmitted disease. You are now shifting your stance to say nothing like toilet infections in a bit to be right by all means. The points are these:

1. You can pick up an infection from the toilet
2. Other factors like hormonal imbalance, using Strong soaps or washes, taking antibiotics, alcohol abuse can also cause vaginal infections.

But when he said, I was expecting cash for an old woman for a medical treatment and have given to the woman, we all dont believe him anymore ? What if he is right ? Have we given him the benefit of the doubt ? We didnt, yet we judge him based on the content of our characters. Cos everything we time accuse others, it is actually our mind that is on parade.

A sincere man like me would totally believe that the accused is saying the truth, after all he has made efforts to repay. But even if he lied, he has also made effort to repay. After all as businessmen, people owe us money all the time, he would have probably thought one of his debtors or customers has paid his cash and will be waiting for the person to call. Common guys, this is cyber jungle justice and I totally dont rely on the justice from the court of public opinion.

the truth is that a mistake has already been made. the guy that paid the money into d wrong account made d greatest mistake. he could av asked d cashier if d Acc no n name r correct, but he didn't. in fact him n d cashier r first to be blamed.
secondly when he noticed this, he should av gone to d bank immediately to reverse the transaction n not calling customer care cos it will take time.

Wanna first appreciate everyone for dropping by. Some of the comments here are very encouraging. So the guy contacted me few hours ago on whatsapp after seeing all of these. He had to unblock to message me. He mentioned paying back but first I should close down this thread. I just laughed. Told him to pay back first and I would inform u guys here and then do the needful.


And also to make few clarifications. The transaction was done on a Sunday so no way I could go to the bank. Also i used quickteller application for the transfer and the name didn't come up. I have learnt my lesson though. But still, he has no right to hold back the money. Thanks everyone.

Wat a shame. Meanwhile a young guy just told me how a lady he had never met before begged to use his account to do a transfer while at the bank.

He agreed and the lady sent 1,500,000 to his account while he waited. He even walked out of the bank to buy airtime and the lady remained calm.

According to him, he heard voices (devils of course) asking him to run and do an immediate transfer with his mobile app, and contact his banker friend to close the account, but he refused.

He came back to the bank and continued waiting. While there, his yahoo yahoo friend came in and told him. "Ol boy run!" and when he refused, called him fool, mumu etc.

According to him, he feared God and couldn't imagine betraying such trust.

Bro, dont let anyone u dont know use ur account for any transfer of any kind. Many times its a ploy from scammers. After accessing someone's account, they look for any one they can lure sometimes enticing you with a percentage. Once the deal is done, they are gone, and sooner, you will see SARS in your house.
There was the guy that does Asun in a joint i go to, we already paid him in full to come do Asun the following weekend at a party. The day came, we didn't see him. Everyone was angry waiting to catch him and just beeat him up or something, not knowing he was cooling down in Panti. They came to pick him in Ibadan from Lagos. He said some guys came to drink, and begged him they misplaced thier ATM, and they want to quickly make a transfer to his account, and he should help them withdraw it and pay for the drinks with POS and told him to keep 20k. Now that you have exposed the guy's photo on social media and called him a thief, and also exposed his phone number. Is the account name the same with the one you intend to pay into if No why where you not told by the bank teller that the name of account does not correspond? Secondly when you notice the mistake why didn't you go straight to the bank where the money was paid in and complain rather that waiting endlessly for customer service?
My point now is this, we are in the era of BVN where their is no place to hide for criminals for those who truly know their right. Go back to the bank where you made the payment and ask them politely to help you trace the said guy if he refuse to okay back your money. I bet you if you are polite enough they will. You can also go the his own bank and an alert will be pull through to other banks in case he intend to abandon that account to open another one. Try this and let see how far that help

Its possible to get a vaginal infection from the toilet. However the term "toilet diaease" have been used to generalize every infection, even when many of them are not even gotten from the toilet. You see someone who contracted an std tru intercourse tell u she has toilet infection. That is why the phrase is being kicked against. As a matter of fact if u google toilet infections, you wiil see mostly Nigerian sites,but check Vaginal infections, u see webmd and the likes. You wont see any site laying emphatically on toilets. Off course a dr can tell u to be careful of public toilets, becaue it is possible to pick some infections there, but the point is many are actually carrying stds and keep claiming "toilet infections". I don't know if u get what i am trying to say.

Just as the OP has pointed out the major microbes that are part of the normal flora of the vagina are Candida albicans and lactobacillus acidi, the lacto bacillus acidi keeps the Candida in check by reducing the pH of the vagina now if the population of the bacteria is reduced drastically either by alteration of immune system or other cultural practices the yeast will overgrow. However what the OP failed to point out is that some diseases that are even classified as sexually transmitted can be contracted through the uhygenic use of toiletries a typical example is gonorrhoea (this case aplies to females alone) caused by the microbe neiserra gonorrhoea which is the only pathogenic gram negative bacteria that exists as a cocci (Its actually a diplicocci) ......if a lady shares the potti with an ifected lady (not in the incubation stage) lests assume they pee in the same potti, during this process the potti got filled and a sizeable part of the infected pee (note that the pee is expected to be sterile but in a UTI case like this it is not) found it's way into the victims vagina she becomes infected besides there are other microbes a lady could pick up from using public toilet. What OP should have done was to specify those that can't be picked up from the toilet example which is the candidiasis.

Did u also read that most of the STDs virus that u may find in the toilet have a very shot life span outside the body like many other viruses? Did u also read that the possibility of getting as much virus to give u a disease is low as ideally ur immune system shoukd knock it off. There is nothing termed Toilet disease. There are many things that can cause an infection,(UTI or STD), so cos u have an itch or whatever can't be termed "Toilet disease". As a matter of fact, many actually result to selfe medication without knowing what is really wrong with them, hence symptoms may go for a while and when it comes back they blame a toilet they used somewhere. As u know many UTIs and STIs may have similar symptoms. Some of them actualt have an STD, but they are busy treating "toilet infection". Then when symptoms go and come back, they say its one toilet they used somewhere. Many of them shouting public toilets, those toilets are even cleaner that the ones in their homes. U ended up repeating most of what i said.
