SallyAUS: I submitted an organisational chart 2. company lettered headed paper with the roles held at the company signed off by the MD ( follow the break down Vetassess wants, your role/ job description held at your company should match the nominated occupation)- 3. Payslips
Yes submit the MSC diploma supplement and certificate- Coloured copies (very clear please) are fine. However, I also went the extra mile and had mine certified by a notary public. Thank you so much SallyAUS. May God show you and yours favour as you relocate. |

SallyAUS: Hi this is where GOD surprised me While I was waiting for my naija transcript to travel and reach vetasses. I had applied with what i had my Msc in Construction Project Management (UK) and it was more than enough. Apparently, with Vetasses A Masters degree in the Nominated occupation esp CPM or Project builder is more than enough...
for experience ideally you must have at least more than a year. because if eg you submit with 2 years experience vetasses will remove one year and your positive outcome year will be least a year some times even more... it can be positive outcome experience 10 months. I hope you understand Wow, You have just extricated me from the hook of Naija transcript. I would have been done with this assessment. My MSc was actually in Structural Design and Construction Management, and first degree, Civil Engineering (Building and Construction Major). I have the MSc diploma supplement and the certificate. It that what you submitted to vetassess? Did you submit organisational chart? |

abby2443: Congrats madam... Please can someone with architecture degree(M.Sc) also select this occupation? I sent you a mail already and i will appreciate if we can connect. Thanks! Was your first degree in Civil/Building/construction? if yes, then you have a good chance. Architects who have CPM roles are considered on case by case basis according to Vetassess. Why not align your roles to that of Landscape Architect (Code:232112), my suggestion anyway. |

SallyAUS: Hahaha I guess you missed the part where i said I cried-- I am a woman..
Occupation- Construction Project Manager I am also nominating the same occupation. Have been waiting for FUTO to send my transcript to Vetassess since May 2017. Not sure whether they will accept only my UK MSc credentials without the underpinning first degree. How many years were you positively assessed? Sent you a PM. |

This is thoughtful of you. I applied since May 2017, my brother na long story oooo. They first told me that my file was missing, which required that I applied for a new file. so weird...Meanwhile I had collected my transcript three times after graduation for overseas masters programme and suddenly my file disappeared into thin air. It just very appalling. It is well. castynept: I'll like to know if anyone here has experienced what I am experiencing now.
I applied for my transcript from FUTO for the first time since July 2017. Apparently, their system won't have alerted them if I hadn't made a printed copy of my receipt and presented it to them.
I have called, physically gone to find out the reason for the delay but to no success and we are in November.
Currently, they are yet to type my transcript. I've never heard of or experienced this level of incompetency and that is why I'm trying to find out if it's just me or is my alma mater crumbling? |

Azy123: Bro,
I believe with your enabling skills as you have highlighted you can get 20 points in English. You have a better chance than I do.
For Speaking - Pronunciation of 62. I think if you can be a little bit more fluent while describing enough content you will get it.
For R and W - Work on your Summarize Written Text (SWT) and see your score in Reading and writing increase above 79+. SWT contribute a lot to R and W don't just focus on the essay. I tested it out in mock. I wrote exactly the same essay, choose exactly the same answer in reading but changed only SWT and score increased to 86 from 73 in writing while reading increased to 80.
For
Listening - Try and write Summarize Spoken Text like a paragraph. Intro statement(s), point 1, point 2, ...(linking the points together) and Conclusion. This contribute to both Writing and Listening
You will get it with PTE. The PTE software recognize your pronunciation, that is about the most difficult thing in this English exam and you are already OK with it.
Fix the above and I know you will be OK.
Cheers Azy123, I totally agree with you. This your explanation has disclosed some hidden truth about PTE exam. The crux of the matter in Speaking is pronunciation, which is a drawback for majority of us targeting 79+ in speaking. It is imperative that we make this thread more interesting by continually sharing mutual ideas and experiences that will benefit those deficient in one section or the other. So kudos to you and do not relent, you will soon defeat PTE Speaking by the grace of God. |

You better take time and correct the transcript DOB from your school before sending it out, otherwise you will compound the problem. DOB is a major factor in point based immigration process, they take any inconsistency very seriously. trastar: Hello. Has anyone ever had an issue where wrong DOB was printed on transcript? Year on waec certificate and international passport is correct but transcript year is 88 instead of 87. What can be done? Wait and Request new transcript or send documents for assessment including a sworn affidavit? Pls help. |

Rooneyboy: please who has an idea of what bank charges for GTB is like , i want to fund a colleague's account for my "change of occupation" but my problem is that i don't know how much i'll be charged per AUSTRALIAN dollar and how much i will be charged.
i'm paying 598 Australian dollars.
Please anybody that has made payment to Australia in recent times should help me with the exact amount+ commission, especially using GTB.
@ bellong and others, please help a soul with your response. @ Rooneyboy, your best bet is to work into any GT Bank and enquire. They will give you the exact exchange and commission rate for that day. |

Thank you for that insight. I believe you will nail it next time. Book for the exam soon, so that you don't forget your tricks. Azy123: I just pray I will do better in the real thing when I finally summon the courage to retake it again.
What I did differently:
- Spoke faster than before.
- Did not explicitly pause for comma, just a very small almost unnoticeable pause. Fluency 90
- Observed word stress, sentence stress and intonation in the best way I could (this was not easy). Pronunciation increased to 52 from 39 and 43 in the last 2 mock test.
- In addition to my normal way of describing image, I added a statement to include the vertical axis. Maybe it increased the mark for content also I'm not sure - "the vertical axis shows a range of number from ____ to _____".
That's all I did |
