spyroxy1: Please can one pay using the naira master card (GTB)? if what you are paying is not more than $1000, yes you can with GtBank Naira mastercard, However you can only spend a maximum of $1000 per month. |

Good news. GTbank has done an upward review of international spending limit on your Naira Mastercard. You can spend up to $1000 on POS and online payments within a month. In other words paying for assessment has become less rigorous. |

Alphadoor: visa 189/190
single applicant N1,012, 770 = AUD$3,670 (black market dollar) That means 1usd = 1.32aud but is like GTB is doing 1.26aud per 1usd |

chookudi: Courier services are very expensive (obviously depending on weight and what you are sending). Cost can range anywhere between 25-50k for documents especially with DHL so if anyone can help, that will save her a lot of money... Bros, it's not advisable to receive anything from anybody when traveling across border, especially from somebody you barely know. Otherwise na long thing oh, period. |

lalaazo: I believe it is clear and straight forward; unless your spouse is a citizen of Australia, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, United kingdom, Canada or United states, or posses at least a degree qualification or five years secondary education from any of these countries, my comrades; it is expected that your spouse writes an English test. I think if your school prepare the letter with levity, it will be rejected. However, if they demonstrate commitment in writing the letter by using appropriate wordings and you include your credentials, you won''t have any issue. I've seen people not from those countries mentioned above go through that successfully. The problem we have is that our schools don''t show commitment in writing such letters. I stand to be corrected. |

koleefem05: Thanks @bolaobby. So should I just forget my years of experience in sales and just go ahead doing an assessment as an Agricultral consultant? Remember I don't have any experience in Agriculture, just my first degree. @Alphadoor @bellong @mamajaz and other gurus. Please I need to make a move. Thanks Sir/Ma. For Vetassess assessment, you must have at least a year working experience in your nominated occupation. I stand to be corrected. |

leon12: Please house, I've few questions to ask.
I'm a Civil Engineer but did my schooling here in Nigeria, that automatically ruled me out to get assessed by EA, my two chances of getting a visa is through PROJECT BUILDER and CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER. The good thing is am into building construction, going to be assessed by VETASS, their requirements doesn't include any English proficiency test, it's tricky in a way when you consider point to gained.
AGE= 30 points. DEGREE=15 points. EXPERIENCE= 5 points.(that if the assessment go well) Total of 50. Is the IELTS test a general prerequisite in the assessment and visa application, also an avenue to increase your chances of getting more points. Thank you all. Your Civil Engineering Degree can be assessed by EA whether from Naija Uni or anywhere. English test is mandatory for PR and can add 10 or 20 points to your total points. For EA you require IELTS before assessment. However, if you desire to ply VETASSESS route, English test is not needed before assessment, also consider a caveat on your experience when assessing with VETASSESS especially when nominating a managerial position. In my opinion, considering the number years you are claiming for work experience, EA will do you more good than VETASSESS. |
