A video has been making the rounds of a disgruntled legal practitioner who has been identified as Okere Kingdom Nnamdi, protesting outside the Federal High Court in Abuja, in which he claims the new CJN is unqualified for the position because "he was never called to bar and is a Sharia court Judge". Upon research from information freely available on the public domain, these claims were however found to be patently false.

His words: "There are so many lacunas in the 1999 Constitution,” he said. “That same constitution will tell you that an Islamic scholar from a Sharia Court of Appeal can be promoted to the Supreme Court of Nigeria, not minding that he was not called to the Nigerian Bar, that he didn’t read law, because he is an Islamic Scholar.”

“That was how the likes of Tanko Muhammad came to the Supreme Court. Let him tell us his enrolment number. Every Nigerian lawyer that is called to the Nigerian Bar that attended a university and the Nigerian Law School has an enrolment number. He does not have any,” he alleged.

THE FACTS

1. Justice Tanko attended Government Secondary School, Azare where he obtained the West Africa School Certificate in 1973 before he later proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University where he received a bachelor's degree in Law in 1980. The new CJN was called to bar in 1981 after graduating from the Nigerian Law School. He later obtained a Master and Doctorate (Ph. D) degree from the same university in 1984 and 1998 respectively


2. He was appointed Chief Magistrate in the FCT High Court in 1989 where he served for 2 years (not Sharia court, but they won't mention this).

3. He was sent to the Sharia Court of Appeal (Bauchi) in 1991 where he served for ONLY TWO (2) YEARS before he was appointed as a Justice of the Court of Appeal (again, not Sharia court) where he served for THIRTEEN (13) YEARS on the bench...before being sworn in as a Justice of the Supreme Court in 2007(again, not Sharia Court) where he has served the country for the last TWELVE (12) YEARS.

THE VERDICT: The new CJN is more than qualified to hold that office regardless of whatever some disgruntled semi-literate ignorant folks say...and he will remain in that office until Onnoghen is able to clear his soiled name if he ever does.

It is also important to note that Justice Tanko Mohammed is the natural successor to Onnoghen as he is the 2nd most senior Justice of the Supreme Court & Vice Chairman of the National Judicial Council (NJC).

Have we ever suggested to Trump how he must handle Pelosi? No, because we don't have such right. Only givers have the right to suggest and the last time I checked, Nigeria is the one begging them for financial support.

Does Nigeria dictate to May how she must relate with Corbyn? The same reasons as aboved.

When we needed arms for Boko Haram, was it not on a cash before purchase and oh you must wait a few years before delivery? Its called due process and this is done in order to verify that it will be use for the purpose stated and also to make sure that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.

Hello guys, I created this account to maintain anonymity. I created a thread initially about the issue I was having with bae but things are looking more serious than I thought. God forgive me that I am having this thought cause I feel bae can't do such being a very church going girl but her dad is a very strong man in Edo state.

I overheard them in an intercepted call where she was telling him about me, the man told her to send him my pics so he can check if I am "good" for her, I monitored the return call and he responded (after two days) that I am "good"(after "checking". Recently I complained of incessant headaches and she brought a traditional soap she said her dad gave her and warned me that the soap box should not touch ground. I used the soap to wash my head, in fact, that afternoon, we bathed together in the shower, washing our heads with the soap. so I guess it was nothing.

But I've been having this severe anxiety of losing her or something like that. I've been the hard man in this relationship (loving her as much as I can but with zero fear of losing her, being a fast rising guy) but I am turning to one sissy like that, complaining of every little thing. I can't eat, all I think of is her, I that thinks 80% if my career and like 10% of her now thinks 100% of her.

I have shut virtually everyone out of my life except her, I wish every call that enters my phone would be from her. The thought of her makes my heart skip with an intense fear. All I crave for is her presence, frankly speaking, she is not cheating on me and I'm sure she is not thinking of it, yet I feel so insecure like a woman (this is not me, I am way ahead of her, I can attract better looking ladies than her, even my mum told me she didn't dream I would think of settling down with her, so there's no need for this feeling yet it hunts me). I barely sleep at night, I look so thin.

I am not the prayerful type and I want to wife her May this year (though I intended to do that August). My life seems so meaningless for no reason when I should be at the top of my career.

My Husband Want me To be Walkinv around the house Naked , he said I should always wear panties around , bra, half naked and naked things with my 4 kids in the house . The useless therapist we saw was the one that suggested this rubbish, saying it will spice up our relationship and love life , pant and bra after 4 kids at my age and level in this life , I refused to do it and he started threatening to cheat .

Can’t people just have normal sex and be happy, must you all get dirty and irritating because you want to have sex , I refuse to be that woman if that is all he wants .
But if he cheats on me I swear to God i will pick up my kids and walk away so far that he will never set his eyes on us ever again.

Women don’t let men abuse your body , husband or boyfriend, have normal sex just like the Bible taught us to stop all this rubbish fingering, head , Mouth Action rubbish that is why many of you will not make heaven .
