Government failing it's people in all front. Moslems should take a cue from their Christian counter parts and protect their clerics,I believe if he was driving an SUV, the flood could have had a lesser impact if any. |
To think that He and Tinubu were Governors at the same time, and now he needs to leverage on Tinubu to be relevant. |

Funding for the forth coming election...gone wrong. In Lagos ? This calls for concern... |
Siwel25:Oga I don't normally respond or join issues with people. But I have to clarify certain things to you. I am an Igbo man resident in Lagos and lived in the North-Kano and Maiduguri- so I can lay claim to being a complete Nigerian.I am particularly apolitical. If I am to vote ,I will vote Tinubu, not because of tribe but because of his antecedents, but age is no longer on his side, this is his major drawback,Atiku though with a Christian VP is a masked religious bigot and will do more harm than an APC Muslim -Muslim ticket .Obi is well intentioned but too honest for the Nigerian political space. The problem is not the three candidates above, the problem is the system, unless the system is changed, whoever gets there, will perform more woefully than PMB. The earlier we rise above myopic ethnic and religious proclivities and address the fundamentals ,the better. |
And the APC could still not win Osun. If only you know the number of non indigenes that are part of the voters you are banding about, the writer will be wiser, election is not a do or die affair. Why people will argue and fight over presidential candidates who does not even know whether they exist and who will eventually reconcile and plunder our collective resources together no matter who wins is still a mystery to me. |
This reportage is misleading. Nnamdi Kanu's father, Late Eze I O Kanu was first the king of Isiama autonomous community before the king of Afaraukwu. To put it in proper context ,Afaraukwu is made up of three independent autonomous community :Okwulaga,Ohokobe and Isiama and the Kingship rotates among these three kings. Now that the Eze is dead and He was from Isiama, the Kingship of Afaraukwu has moved to one of the other senior kings from the remaining two kingdoms. What is in contention is king of Isiama and not that of Afaraukwu. Also note that the Kingship is not hereditary,so if Nnamdi was around,he still remains a Prince, but will not automatically become the King. |

Imagine for once that Jonathan was the one in power and all these are playing out, what could have been the reaction of those Ojota congregants who are now deaf and dumb. |

Churches should be more careful in some areas in which they try to seek validation from the world. Things like public display of charity etc should be avoided. Apostle Suleman those days used to invite the Nollywood stars during his bithday ,share gifts and cars and today, such has turned around to be used against him. |

Nnamdi, what a man |
I still wonder why people cant promote their candidates without linking Obi to it. |

Hunger can make some men to do anything. |
In all shades wrong. Doesn't show reverence for the presence of God. What happens to waiting till the church Service is over. Worship is an act of reverence to the person of God and a man carnally kneeling there as if in competition with God for reverence is condemnable to say the least. Try this in the old testament and drop dead, but now they use grace as a front to cover irresponsibility. |
