jameh48: Of course, godfatherism plays a very big role, and even miracles happen, but the message is, the Army is no longer ready to take chances...Infact, godfather is very necessary, but with your godfather, follow instructions, and do the necessary this time around...This is a message for now, and later. hmmmm... It be like say this baba dey connected gan oh |

jameh48: I never said so...I believe I explained it clear except for the fact that I did not add that once you have your TRCN certificate, you are good to go...The only thing just to add is, renewing of your license, and yearly membership, because once you get into the Army, they will demand for this extra...Victory is from God Alone. yes, I know that for sure. |

Jhennie: If you are destined for this Army thing, It will work for you.. I know : 1. people who had all certificates and uploaded them and were not shortlisted 2. People that had all documents and certs and even went for screening and were out 3. People that had just the basic documents and scaled through.
It's luck and the Grace of God..
I know I will get (By God's grace).. I want to fight and protect the nation.. I have lost too many, I can't lose more.. We will go and fight and come back alive and victorious (God willing)... God's grace will shine for me.. Amen! you are right |

jameh48: My brother, things are changing, and the Army is evolving...Anyways, everyone will see the difference in this year's NASB screening...We will discuss when it is time. that as not answered my question, the instruction is, any applicant applying for education Corps must have proof of membership from their regulatory professional bodies. So what is the essence of the certificate if it can stand as a proof that you are member of the professional body? Are u saying without license, one is liable to be disqualified or what? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by Prospect048: 12:25pm On Sep 12, 2019 |
jameh48: You renew your TRCN license, and membership not certificate, but you must take your certificate along as proof that you still have it...If you don't have the license, it is N3,000...To note, the license is different from the certificate...There are some of you who have the certificate, but you don't have the license, and I bet that most of you are just knowing... Don't tempt the Lord your God, God will not justify stupidity in the name of you asking for a miracle when you should do the needful. what are u saying bayi? So certificate is not enough to clear one during d interview or what? |

jameh48: When the long leg carry you enter, na only you go confess say you for know say make you get the TRCN before you enter...The December deadline for TRCN will affect even Army Education Corps...They are damn serious, godfather or godmother not withstanding...Mark this very post of mine... DSSC Education Corps applicants, mark this post, 'I say even with godfather, faith and God...Do the needful o, make nobody deceive you o... Everyone will see the difference in this year's NASB...You will testify some people with long leg believe ehn... I pity you all who think long leg can cover the national interest, it was boldly written there that applicants for education Corp must present proof of registration with the professional body. Even those in service now and are under education are running up and down to get the certificate. The chairman of that council successfully entered all organization. He sent a memo to them to adhere the new standard and remember that army also partner with ministry of education. Here, not saying if u don't have it, u won't get shortlisted or even enlisted finally, but why not going for what will make u have peace of mind than going for where u lack certain criterion? God will help us all. |

Jhennie: Haa... Uniabuja no sabi this one nah.. I even have a pure B.A in English and not education.. I just hope TRCN will answer us and give us positive results. if it is B.A. in English, u can't have trcn until u go for pgde then after that program you are eligible to sit for trcn exam. If you have not registered, I will advised you apply for Apr instead of education because they now take trcn seriously even even we that did education and refused to do the exam then, in every organization now, they requested for the certificate in as much as u did education. |

sikowitz17: My ideanon the timeline for army screening.. Closes 28 of September.. So September is gone.. NDA passing out for 5th so first week of October is ruled out... One week for maybe peeping newly commissioned officers.. So I'm guessing first list will come out 3-4th week of October... Screening will be 1-2 week of November and there might be a 2 week break where we won't hear anything... Final list will be out 1-2nd week of December and resumption for cadet training, 2nd week January..
What do you think? This is Just a rough estimate ooo..before nairaland warriors come and chop my head.. I may likely stand to disagree on this though, from the information we received from a Nairalander, afsb for dssc is at Ibadan and also ec own is at Ibadan. Another Nairalander said EC own is from 10-14 November, and DSSC will be on that same ground before them. I think the afsb will run through d second week of Oct to d end. And training may commence ending or early December this year. Thanks |

MrSuama: I left the group last year but I will try and make contacts. It will interest you to know that the group had three arms, namely A. Gallant Officers Forum B. Council of elders(comprising of all the admins, whose duties were adding of new members and court-martialing of erring members just to mention but a few) C. Guardroom ( erring members are removed from the main forum and placed in the guard room until council of elders see signs of remorse and probably an apology) It will surprise you that almost all erring members that made the guardroom at one time or the other are all commissioned officers today. But me the ever dedicated admin is still applying, irony of life. OK boss.. |

MrSuama: Even if I don't make the list this time around, I will give myself a civil commission to the rank of a Major in my room. I will give my mum the honour of hanging the pip because she has done everything possible to make me a successful officer. Forever a soldier at heart commissioned or not. it shall be well bro, we will make it by God grace |

MrSuama: Many of us don't ask questions because we are application veterans and their is no much changes to the application portal year in year out. But for someone who just fell in love with the army of recent, we should expect numerous questions. From this army thread, I joined a WhatsApp group in 2014, became an admin within a very short time and supretended over many applicants turned officers today. Made many friends whom we are still in contact till date. If Nigeria will attain it's potential, we must learn to respect each others opinions. From this thread, I have seen men that if given the opportunity to serve their fatherland, the issue of kidnappings, banditry and the infamous BH will drastically reduce, if not becoming a thing of the past. On a final note, all questions should be directed to me henceforth, and I promise to try and profer reasonable solutions without the slightest attack on your personality. Thanks Lt Suama DSSCPRO if there is any existing whatsapp group for course 25 or combined, please do me a favour by adding my 08166203047 to the group. |
