Maryloveth:You need to take time to chill so you won't end up hurting yourself too out of fallout of the election. |
hisgrace090:Not just Wike, how about the neighbour that has been struggling to make a living due to bad leadership but is busy supporting evil manipulation of results and all forms of violence because of ethnic or religious bias? Nigeria's major problem is even the masses who make themselves willing tools and close their eyes and ears to reasoning in an era of information such as this. |
olatade:Please can you explain how the Igbos are stopping anyone or any region from voting? |
ronalmagic10:You must be pathetic not to see she subtly insinuated that the election didn't come up to standard (hence describing the process as having disappointment). Did she in any way validate the fraudulent election? |
HydraFeeds:How can INEC be responsible for the upload, isn't it the responsibility of the political parties, their agents and the candidates, especially those who have access to the BVAS because it favours them? Likewise you and I, it is our responsibility. I did mine, didn't you upload yours? |
codesport:Google her name you'll read her story. By the way, Codesport is a fine combination that can be made a brand, name sounds cool and the two words that make it are leading the world today, sport and code. |
adioolayi:So laughable. Is it reconfiguration of a device that INEC itself has not well lived up to expectations with that you refer to as security risk? Will LP operate BVAS at the Polling Unit or collation centres? Is LP the only political party? Can't other political parties including the APC be made to be present to make the process transparent? There's a great deal of difference between intelligence gathering and espionage. So much of presenting confidentiality of a process which has prints of failures. No wonder on the IReV some of the results sent in by the BVAS are pictures of people in their homes, one wonders how BVAS that was supposed to be deployed and used only between INEC offices, collation centres and Polling units ended up in homes, yet you shout "security of the reconfiguration of BVAS". |
bolademi:Your post is shameful to say the least. Obviously you have a bias that's best known to you but don't forget that whatever you think you stand to benefit encouraging wrong by an entire system today may not favour you tomorrow because by then it would have become standard practice, just the way the FG brazenly disregarded the ruling of the Supreme Court on the Naira redesign policy. Prior that particular event FG had disregarded several other court rulings and majority of APC supporters clapped for the FG until FG did the last one and even APC governors cried out against the FG and that didn't deter FG and CBN from what it started. Now back to the topic, is it only LP and PDP representatives that will witness reconfiguration of the BVAS? Isn't APC also a political party? Keep supporting building of failure in a system because it favours you, one day it will surely come round to give you what you made of it. It may not be election only, but other spheres such as need for emergency medical attention, employment, or even security etc. Continue.. Just continue... |

Our Governor, what do you think of the idea of creating a fellowship programme for Youths in Lagos to be mentored in leadership and eventually find their way into mainstream Nigerian politics? The fellows, who will emerge through a rigorous process of selection shall hold Special Assistant Portfolio in your government for a period of say one year. During this period they'll gain more knowledge of governance and will network with other leaders in all spheres of life while bringing more dividends to Lagos state. |
NwaNimo1:Finally, you birth me an idea. Gracias Nwanimo. |
Thought it's a woman? |
Goodlady:It's either you have one bias that makes you acknowledge and support this evil that was done or you are just not being honest. Which network are you talking about really? Does this network differentiate between National Assembly elections results and Presidential elections result? For Senate and Reps result sheets which are mere pictures BVAS could snap and transmit to IReV in real time on the day of elections, while Presidential couldn't! whoever tries to defend this nonsense can't help but end up sounding and looking stupid. Sadly. |
Believing Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu will do something different in the history of the country by conducting free, fair and credible elections based on the innovations he brought into the electoral process and the level of preparedness he assured was greatest undoing of Nigerian citizens that grew faith in their country once again and ensured they got registered, collected their PVCs and voted. He let people down, and it's because once more, the people were fooled into believing.. At this point, the gubernatorial elections can be postponed because there's not going to be formatting of any BVAS for the purpose of reconfiguration, until all evidence of past records is collected. |
Their eyes will clear. Once beaten, twice? No way. All these beggings are medicine after death. This is fight to the finish! |
Wagwanbrethren:You are the hypocrite, for bringing Bode George side by side son of the umpire. If only the young man stopped at his not liking Peter Obi to win, but he went on to acknowledge a perfect job by his father, common, why close eyes to reasoning because it benefits you at the moment? Setting the wrong precedence will certainly bounce back some day, you can take this to the bank and back. The experience with the FG flouting the Supreme Court order didn't start one day, it had happened and instead of all condemning it some joined to defend it, till it was served again and some who had defended such actions before were on the receiving side. |
abobote:In his political sojourn he has had to travel this road thrice, and thrice he emerged victorious. God has equipped him with experience reclaiming his stolen mandate prior to now. |
GRVLagos:Sir, I have no doubt you will score the majority votes in the gubernatorial election in Lagos. My only concern is whether there won't be manipulation of the process to reduce the numbers? What plans do you have on the ground against such? These plans should consider all possibilities and design simple ways to overcome these obstacles. Another possible way to reduce your votes is use of violence and disruptions, you have already stated on twitter that there's arrangement to forestall this. I suggest you group the people together and involve them in those plans, by so doing they'll be more equipped and confident to come out and withstand any harassment. Most importantly, train only loyal, honest and dedicated people to serve as Polling Agents. These will be the footsoldiers that will safeguard the victory. Equip them with logistics for transport, feeding and ability to report incidences in real-time. Best wishes my Governor! |
GeneralPulal:Yes. It could have been a mistake, because the background looks like a polling station/unit to you, or any of those collation centres, except if the BVAS which was supposedly given out to Presiding officers that morning of the elections was taken home instead. SMH. There's no logical explanation to this. The background alone gives it away. Keep supporting bad because you have a particular bias towards it, one day it will come back to you. Just the way the CBN and FGN got away despite order by the Supreme Court, which is a result of years of APC supporting the violation of orders of the Supreme Court. |
jahsharon:Funny. By the Electoral Act 2022 there won't be any litigation after swearing in, so all cases must be resolved before 29th May 2023. |
So he's saying he has done his own, let Supreme Court do its own? Ok There are 176,846 polling units in Nigeria. Meaning INEC was supposed to upload accreditations in real-time from these polling units to the IReV portal. It was also expected that Presiding Officers at the 176,846 polling units will at the end of election upload results sheets, ie Form EC8A. But this is not the case as it's 3rd day now since 25th February 2023, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu has attributed this to a 'Technical Glitch'. But the glitch didn't affect upload and transmission of result sheets of the Senate and Reps elections, only presidential! INEC had uploaded a register of voters numbering more than a million pages to its website , it didn't experience this long a 'technical glitch', but that of 176,846 pages is experiencing glitch for three days. YouTube uploads average over 720,000 hours video in 24 hours (ie per day) yet a very important activity like upload of result sheets is unable to upload pictures (in few MBs of size) numbering less than 200,000. Aside delays in supply of electoral materials, malfunction of the BVAS in some places and many other challenges, this particular path towed by INEC has created the obvious gap for any kind of questions on the transparency of the INEC under Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu. |
The meaning of 'Technical Glitch' has been re-invented by the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, since it no longer is a temporary malfunction. IReV that was supposed to provide results uploaded at polling units in real time isn't making them available 3 days after election. Just images from a camera (which will be few MBs in size) and count of accreditations, the INEC website cannot make available, more than 60hrs after the shameful conduct called elections. How long will it take for the upload to hit 100% of results from places elections were conducted? YouTube uploads average well over 720,000hours of videos in 24hrs, here in Nigeria a serious business as general election hasn't been able to upload images ( few MBs) from 176,606 polling units for three days running now.. This is shameful and annoying to say the least! Aside the shambolic show put up by INEC with the election marred by lateness of arrival of materials to polling units and inability of its personnel to display adequate understanding of accrediting voters with the BVAS, the gap created with this failure of real time transmission of results has brought the reputation of INEC under Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu to question! |
INEC should just release the results as they were obtained at the Polling Unit please, everywhere. That's all we ask for. |
It's shameful some people are trying to use violence to win elections. They won't succeed. Meanwhile, INEC portal should just upload results as they are and timely too to not create unnecessary room for suspicion, that's all that matters. People must protect their votes. |
marlow1962:It's not presidential but Constituency. |
Obi will still win. |
NwekereNdokl:Ishaku Darius was never an Atiku person. He just stayed away from the G5, but he'd dislike Atiku more than the G5 members. Atiku wanted to unseat him with Mama Taraba you remember? Have you seen Ishaku Darius attending Atiku's presidential campaigns? Gen. T. Y. DANJUMA installed Darius in Taraba and he keeps Atiku at bay. He warned Atiku to stay away from trying to influence Taraba politics else he'll meet with the lion of the jungle. Remember? |

Chineduawka:If you say so,... Just make sure you quote me Sunday through Monday 26-27th February 2023. |
So? This wouldn't bother Peter Obi-Yusuf Datti ticket. After all, everyone has his areas of strength but the number of winnable votes is what matters. A state with less than 2 million votes always made noise about, Peter Obi has control of at least 16 that one can cancel whatever Zamfara gives one candidate. Another one is Yobe that has been promising 3 million votes for someone.. , one wonders where the 3 million votes will come from when they have total less than 1.5million votes,... Lol Dey play... Just dey play... |
Chineduawka:Datti stated the obvious though. Just that he's not played the game the rugged way he should have. He seem to be an emotional person too much. |
