Nigeria mainly exports unfinished goods (raw materials) and imports most of the finished products it consumes. What he is telling you is that such trend is a disease that must be cured. We should be able to manufacture most of what we consume locally and even have surplus to export. In this, he is talking about industrialization which will create more jobs and grow our economy. We will be greater than China if only we learn to produce majority of what we consume instead of exporting our raw materials and then buy them back as finished products.

Of course, you cannot comment with civility because you feel you are faceless on an online forum, now I ask you to mention 5 key raw materials the country relies on their export to sustain it? Am ready to engage you on this...
