Foreign Affairs › Re: Niger: ECOWAS Military Chiefs To Meet On Saturday by PS712: 9:01pm On Aug 11, 2023 |
Henryjr: Nigerians should note that the position to deploy the military is not Tinubu's position, but ECOWAS position, which a representative of Niger was present in the meeting yesterday.
Again, the regional bloc has explored a lot of peaceful and political means to contain the situation in Niger, but the coupist has shown no sign of readiness to any form of mediation, and that is a disrespect to the head of states of the various countries, who are genuinely concerned about orderliness in Niger.
If the cost of peace is war, then it is a necessary evil that must take place. Not when you have relatives on both sides of the divide. |

Politics › Re: Subsidy Removal: Tinubu Wants Minimum Wage Doubled – Spokesperson by PS712: 12:42pm On Aug 05, 2023 |
Kukutente23: I thought you said you're rich. Does 60k look like good money to you? How much do you fill your tank even if audio?
For those quoting me with wild claims of the salaries of other workers being doubled automatically, at least be patient enough to ask any civil servant or even private sector employee you know how minium wage works before you start coming online to say nonsense. Don't mind the ignorant people. Minimum wage was N30000.00 with fuel (PMS pump price) at N145.00 In fact it was originally N30k minimum wage with PMS at N97. Now it's taken to N540 and has gone up to N700, that's over 370% and 480% from the time it was raised above N145 per litre and people are celebrating proposed 100% increase in minimum wage. Isn't that madness? |
Politics › Re: El-Rufai, Wike, Oyetola, Alake, Fagbemi Make Ministers List by PS712: 9:13am On Jul 27, 2023 |
WorldRichest: 2027 settled. Tinubu na bastard politician. Tinubu does not like El-Rufai, Kwankwaso or Wike, but he will make them Ministers for the sake of 2027 elections, and in case any mad judiciary orders a rerun. With the above three in Tinubu's camp, is there any need for 2027 Presidential election or another rerun now? The result is already on our table.
If we do not study this man in our educational institution curriculum before he joins our ancestors, we will regret it decades and centuries later.
It's not about whether he is a good man or a bad man, it's not whether he means well for the country or he is a thief, it's about his Political Strategic Abracadabra. From Lagos, to Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara, Kogi, Edo, to Ghana, Togo, Guinea, e.t.c., and back to Nigeria to make himself King against all odds.
Next US, UK elections, you will see how Emilokan Asiwaju Jagaban will influence and manipulate the elections.
There is something about this Genius. You are absolutely in order. The man is a magician! Whether he's good or evil,... one can't tell, but he's got a magical wand in his possession. It'll take only an equal, opposite and higher power to break this magical power. His political sagacity needs studying. You are really in order. |
Politics › Re: 12 Million Households To Get ₦8,000 For Six Months, Says Tinubu by PS712: 4:42pm On Jul 13, 2023 |
Iamgrey5: I don't like this type of palliatives. It's definitely going to end up in some people's pockets.
Jonathan tried it and it failed, Buhari tried it and it failed. Tinubu should not end up like those two.
We can't afford another looting bonanza in this country.
Palliatives should be inform
>A scheme to convert 1000 public taxis to CNG from petroleum engines at half the price across the federation and Making CNG readily available
>Create Industrial zones in the six geo political zone and encourage manufacturing of Agro products by giving tax holidays for a five year period for prospective investors.
>Grant Solar companies like SUNKING tax breaks and finance in other to reduce the cost of those solar kits for homes and small businesses (This takes care of generators to an extent)
> Funds to encourage state governments to procure big luxurious buses for cheap transportation.
> Increment in minimum wage.
> Tax reduction for manufacturing businesses already operating in Nigeria.
Those palliatives are not only very different from our regular approach but they also encourages production. Delighted reading these suggestions, if only they'll be implemented. This 8k per family of about 12 million Nigerian families is unbelievable. |

SangoOlukosoOba: Nothing good comes easy!
If Nigerian universities want to compete, they must be autonomous, and students must pay their fair share
Nigerians are the only class of people who want their country to overtake the US, UK and Canada, but not ready to pay their fair share like citizens of those countries.
Also, Nigerians demand instant change and never ready to make sacrifices for gradual change. You try, why leave out countries like Germany, Norway, Finland where it's tuition free even for international students? Even the Canada, US you mentioned, are there no cushioning effects already in place? In a sudden swoop citizens are expected and subjected to sacrifice with respect to fuel pump price, electricity, car ownership, education, professional body etc. These moves as well intended as they are the manner in which it's being carried out is like violently stripping a woman's clothes to sleep with her despite that she has consented to the affair. It leaves her feeling raped! |

What would you rather I import instead? What would you advise me to import instead? I mean a fast moving product/products. I need your opinions/suggestions please. Thanks.
The product is already in the Nigerian market. I have seen people who bought them. But guess what? This can't stop you from making good sales if only you plan your business strategy.
I also plan adding backpack. So that it won't be only laptop bag. What do you all think? |

Agriculture › Re: What Is Nigeria's Biggest Agricultural Export Now? by PS712: 7:56pm On Jun 26, 2023 |
Natural2Heal: Exporting raw agricultural produce is bad for our economy. Rather we should think of how to add value to our cash crops e.g cocoa, cashews, rubber etc before exporting it.
Ivory Coast is the biggest exporter of cocoa in Africa and also an importer of chocolate. Is there any sense in that? In fact more jobs will be created along the value chain if we process our raw materials, even if as semi-finished. But our problem is leadership, drawn from among the followers, who have chosen to amplify religious, ethnic and political biases above national interest of unity, growth, development, progress, prosperity and posterity. It's shameful. |

What if all of these put together is staged by Cremlin and part of their war strategy? Because the .Wagner. boss has been .Vladimir's. ally for God knows how long.. Could it be that the other side tried infiltrating, offered money (maybe in pounds or dollars or even their rubles) and other things (like the arrest and retrieval last week of some people trying to buy nuclear material)... Whatever is the case, what is playing out is still part of the game. For now it's become more clearer that the theater has been expanded for more drama. Sadly. |

We don't need agberos in our society, if your car develops fault, what you need is firstly officials on patrol or at the next nearest stop to tow the vehicle off the main road/busy lane to aid traffic, next is an array of options where you can search certified skilled mechanic or electrician online via voice call, app or ussd to quickly report to the spot and attend to the vehicle or tow it to their workshop.
