Hopium:Sen. Datti was rightly confident and stated the obvious - Yobe and Zamfara are not in class A of the LP and it's good the campaign knows that, besides, how many votes combined do they boast? Two states that have been promising APC 3 million votes each yet sum of their votes is not up to 3 million, lol . And mind you, the 2million+ won't even go to one party, the APC, PDP and NNPP will bite too. LolI'll be here God willing.. Pls quote me on Sunday and latest Monday. |
manutdrichie:Don't mind him, he probably hasn't been to Akwa Ibom and has no contact there at all. This is why when people who have seen it with their eyes tell them how the tempo is in places they don't believe. Last December, study tour made me tour parts of FCT, Plateau, Kaduna, Kogi, Edo, Delta, Anambra, Abia and Akwa Ibom. My personal interface with the people gave me idea of who they support for what position. In fact, as at 31st December 2022 if you asked me I'll tell you Abia state had more rigorous campaign for Obi than Anambra state (Obi's home state), although I was later made to see that Anambra's case was mostly because there won't be gubernatorial election there in this election, which is true. But then, Akwa Ibom has mad support for Obi that is more pronounced than Abia state. Then the one in Plateau is something else but theirs too is not even up to the biggest, loudest and craziest which is Edo state. So it's no fault of these e-warriors shouting up and down, they haven't gone round to see things for themselves, sadly. |
Postponement of election? No way! Saturday 25th February 2023 is around the corner and some people are just realizing that their chosen candidates won't win hence this lame reason quoted below - “It has become imperative for the Arewa Youths Assembly to call for the immediate suspension of the 2023 General Elections to enable Nigerians, especially menial workers from our region who are littered all over the country in search of greener pastures to return to where they registered to vote." At this moment, it is safe to say "Good morning so-called Arewa youths and welcome to new reality". We all know who the winner will be God willing. The demographics are plain for all to see... ![]() O ye Yusful Obidients, do not spare/waste even a single vote by thumbprinting or folding the thumbprinted ballot wrongly. This lesson must be taught and the history made for posterity's sake. Here's the clear indication... Gone are the days of ballot stuffing... Now is the era of BVAS, what you put in is what you get, shikenan! Lagos leads with 7 million voters, although collected PVCs is 6 million... (Will PO get significant votes there or not? Your guess is as good as mine) Kano is next with about 6 million registered voters out of which 5million PVCs are collected (Here APC, PDP and NNPP will share the spoils, hence difficult for one candidate to spike votes leaving the rest behind, an advantage for PO right? Lol) Kaduna with 4million, PO's performance here will shock many, El rufai's recent racings and desperation trying to win the 'talakawas' should leave no one in doubt that something is happening..., lol. Saturday is not far again, feel free to bookmark this post and quote me. Unlike before, aside Kano and Kaduna states in the north only Katsina too has more voters than Plateau which is Yusfully Obidient, let alone Benue which has more than Plateau and is locked down for Obi. Borno and Bauchi votes (shared among APC and PDP) can't scare LP, never, when there's Benue and Plateau to cancel them. Yobe that they have been promising someone 3 million votes has less than 1.6million,lower than Ebonyi state, lol Like I said, feel free to quote me let's meet from Sunday 26th through Monday 27th February, 2023. pol23:This is exactly why we are where we are- this kind of thought and perception of yours, sparked out of distrust and maybe dislike for the USA, borne out of one bias or the other! What you ought to have been canvassing is for Turkiye who knows that it is majorly seated on so many active and potential tectonic earthquake sites to improve its detection and emergency systems, but no! Out of sheer bias against the USA you are busy suspecting them, leaving root cause of the problem. This is exactly how we leave out solutions in Nigeria chasing after biases. Sadly. |
Toks2008:Please quote me Sunday evening, latest Monday 27th February 2023. ![]() Meanwhile, go through my post gently and note the figures as I pointed out. If you haven't traversed this country in recent times, and have closed your eyes and ears to what's ongoing, even between the presidency and the APC Presidential campaign then the joke's on you. In fact, a look at the numbers and the innovations in the electoral process backed by the Electoral Act 2022 should open your eyes.., lol See attached image.

MrEverest:Thank you. Very shameful post from him. He is ascribing too much electoral value to the north, except he clarifies which part of North cause for all I know, you know and everyone knows Benue, Plateau and FCT are parts of the North and are fully obidient. Meanwhile, the Northwest and northeast that could be Centre of concern all have factors that will split their votes as no one can say exactly how the votes will swing. Atiku, Kwankwaso and Tinubu are scrambling for votes from the same pool while Obi has SE locked down, large chunk of SS (especially Edo). He's taking something significant out of Lagos. Why are some southerners, especially the leaders like this? A look at the spread of votes indicate the era of dreading influence of numbers of votes from the north is over at the moment. The hitherto dreaded Bauchi and Borno votes are now lower than Plateau and Benue votes respectively, unlike before. Kano which is highest is lower than Lagos and the three major candidates BAT, Atiku and Kwankwaso will split votes there. Obi will still score some votes too in Kano, it will not be significant though but that is expected. Ebonyi has more votes than Yobe. So what are they saying? Rivers is more Obidient than Atikulated. And votes Obi will score in Rivers too can cancel out highest votes scored by any of two candidates (BAT and Atiku) in Katsina which is third highest state in North, because certainly they'll split votes there too. In Kaduna the votes Obi will score are untouched, whereas the remaining which may actually be the bulk votes will be shared among Atiku, BAT and Kwankwaso. Kwankwaso has some presence because of Sen. Hunkuyi who is NNPP governorship flag bearer and who doesn't want to use even one eye to see anything APC because of how he was treated in 2019 by the same party he helped bring up. |
Felabrity:Structureless. Structureless Structureless. E dey sweet my Belle. Saturday is around the corner and structure don crack, the wise ones don run comot, the not so wise are still inside hailing themselves, waiting for Saturday unknown that it's the date it'll collapse completely, lol |
Hmm Things happening in quick succession for the APC at the moment. Not too long ago such kinds ofappointments were made by government, and people criticized it but APC supporters saw nothing wrong in it and wouldn't bulge a bit, now just a mere police supervisory role they are screaming to high heavens. An appointee that was APC all along till recently that she started criticizing the capacity and fitness of the presidential candidate and shifted her support elsewhere, to Atiku. When APC nominated Lauretta Onochie, a Special Assistant to the President on New Media, a staunch card carrying member of the APC and its canvasser to be appointed Commissioner of INEC, the body that conducts and will conduct the elections, supporters of APC saw nothing wrong with that, despite outcry, until all effort was thwarted several times before it was shelved. Now that the cock has come home to roost, we won't hear word again. Her job is just to go round and see if policemen are doing their job professionally, so don't bother OK.. |
Hendrixky:Please post script your comment, there's nothing like confiscation there/here. El rufai has tried to deceive the gullible. In confiscation you lose access and right to your money, in this case who took money to bank and lost value or access to it? No one. The Central Bank has simply said they know your money belongs to you, but in the best interest of the economy and according to its laws and guidelines, certain amount of the total money cannot go out into circulation as cash, but rather have to be within the banking system and the economy. You still have access to your money, but in this case not all as cash, especially if you have plenty of it. So where is the place of confiscation there? |
False narrative by El rufai as usual. Please post script your comment, there's nothing like confiscation there/here. So where is the place of confiscation there? |
tinsel:Your comment is pathetic and hilarious. Please use glasses and read carefully too. Naja'atu will be overseeing Northwest where Tinubu is banking on. People like El rufai, Ganduje, Badaru, Atiku Bagudu, and Matawalle should watch their backs, lol. |
This whole attempt to ensure that commercial banks accept deposit of old notes is ineffective despite the Supreme Court order simply because as at the time the same players were flaunting court orders, breaking laws, implementing anti people policies and harassing Supreme Court judges by breaking into their homes and some Nigerians complained, this same people crying foul now called them names, nicknamed Nigerians wailers and unpatriotic because the actions of their partner in whatever they believed appealed to their eyes, now the cock has come home to roost and there is little voice and strength left in the people to collectively resist together. It's now clear the saying that when you keep quiet in the face of oppression because it hasn't touched you, one day it'll be your turn and there won't be anyone left strong enough to stand and support you against your oppressor. Rest assured that this Naira redesign policy and the swap guidelines have come to stay and there's no jack in Nigeria that can use it to forment trouble that'll go any far, no one! |
His brain don reset, lol |
Another Total Number of Registered voters in Oyo state different from 3, 276, 675 released by INEC? The write up is mainly about transfer of voters from congested polling units to less congested ones. |
Confusion everywhere.... |
Same political party pointing accusing fingers at themselves.. . Then one begins to wonder why those who are not directly gaining/benefiting anything from these people still support them on reasons such as ethnicity and religion... It beats one's imagination that a couple of days ago some people were hailing Tinubu as having the guts to confront the government based on his stance against the currency redesigning policy and its implementation...as well as the fuel scarcity... That it's solely because of the masses, well, the masses are truly feeling the heat, but it is obvious some are crying more than the bereaved. Tinubu at a campaign outing in 2023 openly accused the regime of taking exchange rate from N170 something to over N700; fuel from N87 to... Since when has he noticed the failures of the administration, why didn't he call them out or at least speak out all these years? Right from inception in 2015,after swearing in, it has been from one blame to the other... Now some people want us to believe/trust those openly accusing themselves...and to reward them by voting them in again... Funny! Garba Shehu has now responded, awaiting another from Mallam El rufai again. Interesting times ahead. |
asobo1:Lol Next week Saturday is around the corner, quote me after the election. |
That's the governor's LGA, the DG of the Presidential Campaign Council of the APC. It is funny how people here on Nairaland have been counting Plateau State as one of those states APC will get significant votes, thinking because the governor is a member of the APC and being the DG of the PCC of the state he will deliver, hell no, that is wild goose chase assumption, why not call anyone you know who is on the ground in that state and ask questions. The votes Peter Obi will score in Plateau State it is doubtful any of the South East states will give him that. The APC could ha e stood a chance of getting alot of votes in Jos North LGA but the alliance between Lalong and the people there had long been broken when Lalong chose someone against their preferred, they protested with their votes and supported the candidate of the PRP. The young man is now a member of the House of Representatives. That Constituency will vote PRP for all positions, except Presidency which they'll give the PDP. |
DeLaRue:This started earlier in the life of this administration and when people of sane minds were condemning it they were called names and described as wailers now the cock has come home to roost, sadly! What goes around comes around. |
See how the listeners looked. Obviously he was touching the core of the issues, especially as it affects the north and the country at large. Before many used to be unhappy with the situation of things while few were, but now the wind is blowing on everyone, almost everyone. Those insulated are a minute, insignificant small. |
bamideo:This is nothing to worry about. INEC had during the Continuous Voter Registration created New Polling Units last year, so in the where there is no one registered at the Polling Unit how can election hold there, who will vote? The only thing now is that those polling units should be published for clarity. |
Nwodosis:The alliance not working out was for good, I bet you. This is because either way, Kwankwaso's candidacy whether as individual or in alliance with BAT or Atiku will still be to Obi's advantage. If Kwankwaso had joined Obi, quite a number of his supporters and core followers who are following him because of biases of ethnicity and religion would have abandoned the joint ticket and jumped at the other available options of BAT and Atiku, spiking their numbers, but right now they aren't and it's to Obi's advantage. Even if he decides to form alliance with any of them today it is late already as the ballots have been printed with his party. |
OsunOriginal:Be sincere with yourself, count how many governors are at the Kebbi rally, same for every of APC's rallies, where more than three governors with their supporters from their respective states deploy and converge at the venue of the state of the rally, this thing is akin to giving false hope o, well 25th February or any postponed date isn't far again... |
domDva:What is needed at the moment is for Ndi Igbo to collectively resist the enemies within, stop them from these unnecessary killings. This kind of act is certainly going to create disdain for Obi's chances from the families and relatives of the slain security men. Nothing happens in a community without some members knowing who is responsible, this means such killings in Ihiala won't go unnoticed by some good spirited Igbos who must stand and stop this thing. While plenty non Igbos are working hard to deliver Obi it is sad reading how some communities in Igbo land are allowing this thing to continue unabated. Seriously. |
athaboi:Please leave that fight. Allow Kwankwaso, Atiku and BAT to continue their fight while Obi concentrates in garnering more votes. |
CYBERSOLDIERSre:Seriously he needs to be called to order! The choice of the word 'migration' in a permanent Voter card issuance and collection matter speaks volumes. The attention of the Chairman of INEC needs to be called on this matter. How can he be talking about not issuing PVCs that are available because the people migrated from the south east and did double registration? Was it not clearly stated by INEC when it displayed the register of voters that it will do clean-up (ie. remove duplicate registrations, underage, voters reported to be dead, and any fictitious registrations etc.) before having tentative register and producing PVCs for new registrants? INEC couldn't have proceeded to producing PVCs for those with duplicate registrations so denying certain category of people their PVCs in the general guise that they migrated from somewhere and did fresh registration without confronting each individual with evidence is tantamount to systemic disenfranchisement! |
Annoying write up. |
Aufbauh:Speak for yourself. Everyone knows the evil people that brought more division and hardship on the country. Even till now the hardship is still being felt and all they do is trade blames, from blaming the party it took over power from to blaming members of its party at the National assembly leadership during its first tenure, eventually started blaming the ordinary citizens of not reporting corrupt people and bad elements around them, then recently blaming faceless cabal within its fold... The blame game continues while the country try is drifting apart. You can keep deceiving yourself like the ostrich which buries its head in the sand at the sight of danger. The fact is everyone knows where he or she belongs, and it will manifest soon or later...shame! |
BenedictAbajue:That's the point my post intended to highlight, humans will certainly feel the wrath here and in the hereafter, but not humanity in general. I didn't post this assuming the OP doesn't know it, no. In fact he's always posted and explained it vividly here, just that this time the last statement he made can be misconstrued, especially by those who don't know or those who have a bias, hence my drawing his attention. |
Judolisco:Read the entire post. |
seun na bad guy ooo
. And mind you, the 2million+ won't even go to one party, the APC, PDP and NNPP will bite too. Lol
