I think I should comment this time. Only a fool travels abroad and expect to find money or success on the street especially if you are not from the one percent (wealthy people) in Nigeria. Japa or what you call it, means extra work for atleas the first 3years, I mean die hard work, but you will be fine in the long run, wether you clean toilet, work in macdonalds etc at first. If you are a real Nigerian with our long foresight and natural ability to dream big and develop one self.. First three years entails fighting for resident permit, work work work, settling down, living in a small rental single or shared room etc, but you will be fine in the long run and very comfortable if you bear these initial hurdles and hard times .. We survive and succeed even in non English speaking countries, stop trying to paint the situations bad for those abroad, some of us with nothing background or privileged parents, today own properties and investment both in Nigeria and abroad something some of our mates back home in Nigeria can only dream of. You travel 1-3 years and just want the very good life overnight immediately or, alternatively start discouraging others from travelling... Bottom line, stfu, bend down and work.. Most successful people in lagos today once live under bridge.. quote author=guobe post=123975356]UK Japa is not what most people that have travelled to UK were expecting. Things are really tough for most Nigerians in UK. Some of them that passed through the student route have to cough out several millions of naira to pay the school fees and will have to work extra hard to achieve this. You see them crying in the night that God please help me through. Most goods and services have gone up times 5 in UK and with the recent increase in the interest rate over there it seems there won't be a breather yet. On the flip side most Nigerians that migrated are doing it for their kids future and we hope things get better with time.
Bro nothing stopping you from trying or starting again afresh and you will get job, age discrimination no be hindrance in the west as long as you know your stuff. However, Scandinavia would have been a good choice, however, u cannot stand the frustration of learning a new language at age 40, so my best advice, go to an English speaking country. uote author=NotATroll post=123978323]I am single and a Quantity Surveying graduate. My budget is 4m. What are my options pls? Any country apart from African and Asian Thank you
Nothing in Finland is wasted, actually waste recycling business is massive here, almost like oil company. Even bottle of beer or Coca-Cola give u money if you return it to any shop.. quote author=Olaoluwa112 post=124009687]Way to go. Never been to Finland before but I've heard stories of how people make money from recycling bottles and here in Nigeria one of the main causes of flood is dumping of refuse anyhow. It should be put into the law, anyone found disposing things in a wrong way should pay big fines or some months in jail plus some social services.

Letsmeet:Not true in some cases. My wife of 15 years although white European, is from a divorce family, and her eldest 2 sisters are all married for long time too. In some instance, these children, after seeing what thier single mothers went, will vow never to end up like that, or alternatively thread the same part of thier parents.. I think k it's either way |
Omo Na wa for naija, I rejected 35k job in 2009 before leaving naija and still dem still they pay person that as salary in 2023..blood of jesos😳😳 quote author=Obavoh post=123019196]I spent only 2 days on the job. I had to quit. I was missing my family and my wife’s cooking. I rather stay jobless than be paid 35,000 monthly to be sad and hungry . See the lunch my wife prepared for the family. Why won’t I run back home?
For once on this idiotic forum, this is actually a good analysis of possible scenarios playing out in this conflict.. lhordspy: |
The rational behind my bringing the Muslim - muslim ticket upis because if someone says to a bishop, that this is a religious war they are bringing, tell your members to vote for me"you don't see the reason for that n the connection with the apc ticket "??.. I know, it may not be reasonable now, but everybody both online n offline, tone this thing down.. Election Don pass, we have a president elect.. Not everyone must like the outcome of election, let court decide or looser try again in 4 years, but this online banter needs to stop.. We have other problems in nigeria to talk about.. That's all am saying quote author=richie240 post=122889233]Na wah for u o, sammy, abeg wetin conssyn muslim-muslim ticket with d maths wey dey ground Biko? Na muslim-muslim ticket make obi lie for one month say nor be hin voice dey d 'yes daddy' tapes? Hian!
My dear brother, am not making case or defending Obi, the" yes daddy tape was a political campaign strategy and nothing more.Didn't tinubu make a fellow Muslim his vp candidate in a country of 50 percent Christians and same percentage muslim?? Didn't Atiku tell muslims in a town hall in kaduna state, that the north does not need a yoruba or igbo politician as president but only an hausa Man, isnt that bigotry and ethnicity based politics? Why only Obi everybody dey shout up and down.. Like I said earlier, election Don end, this ethnicity jargon don do both online and offline, Na time to heal as a people n move on.... richie240: |
Who deport am, person wey dem deport dey enter the country?? Was it not on social media a particular lady, yoruba lady, posted a picture n video of Peter obi in a church on same trip) Pesin wey dem deport nor the go church the next day.. Election Don pass, let the man seek redress in court as the law of Nigeria demand.. quote author=richie240 post=122876577]Tell us why u were deported biko! #stop_d_cap!
I understand you anger and off course you and any Nigerian are entitled to that anger, however the governor son has a right to love. Actually I am kinda happy he is married to a normal white girl BloomingDale: |
That amish is probably virgin.. Any good looking one u see, Don sleep with over 20 men before age 20year.. Fact quote author=vanunu post=122860956]Is he married to an Amish?
Are you really female cos ur hatred for the white female getting married to the Governor son is appalling.. People fall in love n not necessarily colour.. Damn quote author=BloomingDale post=122859181]The black man gets the white ladies the white men don’t want. See wetin governor pikin go marry. Lol. Meanwhile this same lady will be indirectly chopping and enjoying Nigeria’s wealth, while Nigerian children will be starving to death, and Nigerian women will be doing ashawo work just to survive. African/Black man sold their women and children into slavery. Same thing is still ongoing. Black/African man is just damn too weak and corrupt. Just look at the degenerate Nigerian men there smiling like the low self esteem fools they are. I just can’t look at their degenerate faces without wanting to puke.
Bro I hardly comment here.. The fear of learning anew language is the reason people go to English speaking country. However, I lived in ilorin for 5 years, during university education, and las las as an edo boy, I spoke yoruba and communicate in yoruba till today. Almost every Finns speak English but working professionally, you need fiinish language. If you goal is to work in the service industry, I mean if your not that educated or you are the entrepreneurial type, you will be fine trust me.. There are jobs in service industry with salary on the average between 1700e-2700 euros. these jobs don't require Finnish language skill, example(cleaners, restaurant workers, food delivery guys "make 3000-5000€ per month, same as uber, bolt drivers" Professionals make more but you will be require to speak fiinish language. I learnt the language in 1 and half year cos I was determine to work professionally.. Money is important but I have my pride n didn't want to settle for less. But life is generally amazing in Finland, like Google will tell u, Finns are the most happiest people on earth for 4 or 5 years straight.. quote author=theamazonguru post=122747915] How will he cope with the language barrier. How do you as a person cope with it. I believe that's a major hurdle. Don't you think so?
Well nothing special I guess, as someone who lives here, I will probably advice the op to try Finland.. You can also Google Finland too |
Come Finland, amazing country. |
