avec1:Isn't it an irony that the same one that fought for Freedom was in the same hall with the same one u claim imprisoned his people for 20 months? Didn't the White House know Buhari imprisoned his people for 20 months before inviting him along side Nelson Mandela.. Why didn't the white house invite Ghadaffi, or Robert Mugabe or even IBB? Why didn't the white house see in all of Africa whom to invite and invited Exclusively only Nelson Mandela And Buhari.. I bet you should please submit your report of how Buhari imprisoned his people for 20 months, so they can look into it, or you stop talking crap without fact because it seems you have some information the white house is not privileged to. Contrary to your opinion, I think it is Jonathan that has imprisoned Nigerian and he still Doesn't "Give a Danm"... Your I don't "Give a Danm" President sure doesn't give a Danm all the innocent lives lost in Maiduguri 2 days ago cos if he gave a Danm, Boko Haram is supposed to be history by now. He still doesn't give a Danm, that's why under ur watch, Graduates were stampeded and killed in seeking bread at the Nigerian Immigration. He still didn't give a Danm when 20 Billion dollars got missen under his watch. We need someone that gives a Danm! We need Buhari.. |

The Church can go to hell for all I care. CAN, PFN, PDP can talk all the Trash they want About Buhari, but Come #FeBuhari 14. I'm not looking back. I'm Casting my Votes for Buhari even tho I'm a Christian by Birth, Born and Groomed a Christian. Christianity has lost it. Would the Church provide Electricity for me? Would the Church create Employment? Why hasn't the Church stopped Boko Haram? Why doesn't the Church make University Education Free. Don't you know How Much is charged in Convenant University? Don't u know How much Redeemers University charge? What Poor man can send his Child to Convenant University. Jesus Gave Knowledge Free, Jesus gave Healing Free, Jesus Fed the 5000 with 2 loaves of Bread and 5 fishes freely, Jesus didn't collect Money from them for teaching them, why does convenant collects so much money? Jesus even Left Ceaser's Affairs to Ceaser and gave to God what is God.. Today the Church eats and wine with Ceaser and come to tell us crap to please ceaser. Didn't Obasanjo call Adeboye and Oyedepo to Abeokuta when he was asking Jonathan those grave questions? Why didn't the church Answer the questions for GEJ, Now all of a sudden the church has a say. Long live the Church.. Mtcheeeew Rubbish. |
PDP, CAN, PFN.. All na the same thing in different names. |

![]() lomprico: ![]() lomprico: ![]() We all can't walk the same way. Life would have been too boring if we all did the same things. We can't all follow thesame road. Nelson Mandela Achieved Greatness from being Imprisoned Doesn't mean to be Great, everybody must be imprisoned. There are plenty innocent and "Just" people fighting for Just Causes that ended up being imprisoned but didn't turn out like Nelson Mandela. Was Martin Luther King Imprisoned? Was Obama Imprisoned? Was Abraham Lincoln imprisoned? Have they Àll been Great in their different Endeavours or Not? I'm so impressed General Buhari was deem fit to be likened to the Great Nelson Mandela Of Africa.. Sai Buhari.. |
People should carefully read this article and see how Nigeria in a way shares something with America. America is a World-Power weather we like it or Not. Nigeria is also a Continental Power atleast if not world Power, Nigeria is Giant of Africa. Blacks have an history of Greatness. Blacks suffered But Today African-American Rules the world.. Where am I going with my story. Great men have a way of locating themselves even in different generations. Go thru that Article, All the Names mentioned there are great Men. From Martin Luther king to Barrack Obama to Nelson Mandela and ofcourse to our very own General Muhammadu Buhari, The People's General.. OMG! I want to be like Buhari when I'm Old. I'm not kidding. Barrack Obama, Martin Luther king Jnr, Nelson Mandela and GMB AKA Ogbuagu! They can say all the non-sense they want to say about GMB but Insha Allah #FeBuhari 14, I will wake up in the morning and pray to the Good Lawd for making me see that day, I will take my PVC and Kiss it, with Immediate Alacrity I'l Run to my Polling Station and Vote Buhari without Thinking Twice. #Sai Buhari. #TeamGMB. |
Lagos — Ahead of his inauguration today, US President-elect, Barack Obama, paid tribute to the late Rev. Martin Luther King Jr whose civil rights movement in the 60s led to the liberation of Black America and probably made his election possible. Two White House invitees from Africa, ex- President of South Africa, Dr. Nelson Mandela, and Nigeria's former military head of state, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, will attend the inauguration in Washington DC. Obama joined a community project to honour King Jr. Monday was the national holiday commemorating the birthday of the civil rights leader who was felled by assassins' bullet in 1968. Thousands have thronged the National Mall where King Jr. stood more than 45 years ago to utter his most famous speech: "I have a dream". "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise and live out the true meaning of its creed. We hold these truths self evident: that all men are created equal... I have a dream today," he said on August 28, 1963 in front of 250,000 people. Two years later, the National Voting Rights Act which guaranteed Southern blacks the right to vote was passed into law. Without that law, Obama's election would have been impossible. He won with more than 90 per cent of black votes. In a state such as North Carolina, 95 per cent of black votes went to him, giving Democrats the area for the first time since 1976. He beat Republican John McCain with only one point, a huge victory in a state where black students protested for months in order to be served lunch at counters. Obama also won 90 per cent of black votes in Virginia, formerly the headquarters of segregated America. From state to state, the importance of the National Voting Rights Act cannot be overemphasised. Analysts have tried to reflect on the significance of the swearing-in ceremony taking place a day after King's birthday, at the other end of the same Mall from where the "I have a dream" speech was rendered. The event is viewed as a powerful moment in the history of the United States. Ordinary Americans are also reflecting on the extraordinary milestone achieved by a country haunted by an ugly past. The question on the lips of many is: will Obama's presidency fulfill the entirety of King's dreams and goals?" How will his presidency further racial equality, expand opportunities for minorities as well as deal with the failing economy? It may be safe to say that this is a first step for blacks who never thought they would see an African-American sworn-in as president. For those who did not believe that an African- American would occupy the White House which was erected with the toil and sweat of slaves, tomorrow's event gives cause for hope. There is renewed love for the country, enthusiasm and commitment to service, as evidenced by the number of people braving the cold to witness the inauguration. The President-elect is tapping into this spirit by calling on all Americans to be part of the journey to renew the country. "I am asking you to make a lasting commitment to make better the lives of your fellow Americans - a commitment that must endure beyond one day, or even one presidency," he said. "At this moment of great challenge and great change, I am asking you to play your part, to roll up your sleeves and join the work of remaking the nation," he added. As he takes his oath of office with the same Bible used by Abraham Lincoln, Obama carries the hopes, dreams and aspirations of many the world over. Americans, it seems, are willing to cut him a slack at least for the first few years. The impression is that they want him to succeed. He would have to live up to their expectations. Meanwhile, Buhari will be one of the dignitaries at today's inauguration of Obama. According to the National Campaign Director of the Buhari Organisation, Alhaji Buba Galadima, Buhari would be attending the inauguration as one of two special invitees of the White House from Africa. Galadima, who spoke with newsmen in Buji local government area of Jigawa State, said the ANPP Presidential candidate in the 2003 and 2007 elections alongside Mandela are "the only men of honour invited from the entire continent to witness the historic event scheduled for Tuesday (today) in Washington DC". He explained that the White House sent the special invitation letter through its embassy in Nigeria, stressing that the invitation has further shown that the international community holds the retired general in high esteem. |
Ribadu be making jest of GEJ and he be like. Ribadu: oga jona, I hear say them stone you and your convoy for bauchi, katsina, kebbi, I don arrange boys to stone you for yola oooo.. Ribadu seriously laffing GEJ be like; if na roff play make u stop am oo. Once they stone me, no elections again be that oo. But more seriously. GEJ is worse that a dictator. Wolf in sheep clothing. |
Garrithe1st:DÓnt wÓrry! All Buhari detractors would soon hide their faces in shame come #FeBuhari 14. How couldn't they have known it was just a Typographical error. Fourth as Forth! And so what? Issues that are never ment to be issues, yet they always wan make a meal of non-issues. PDP is drowning and would hold on to just about anything. |
KenSaroWiwa:GEJ :It is becoming crystal clear I'l lose this forth coming election. Incase I lose elections, Dangote and otedola, na una go give me transport back to otuoke ooo! Dangote: Shege Daniska, shebi u talk say Buhari my brother na illitrate, sai ka chi ubanka.. Otedola: Oga Jona, no free money oo, u go drop colataral, Mama Piss can be our comedian in chief, atleast she go dey entertain us with her fellow widows. Elumelu; these guys are kidding mr president, don't worry, we'l hand u stipends for survival when u get to otuoke. |
playboy19:I must confess u succeeded in educating me. You threw light on some grey areas I didn't know someone would disect this much, however, given the circumstance, would u rather leave certainty for uncertainty? Jay-z wouldn't just leave Newyork and come to lagos because lagos has 18million population and so his music would sell and make more money. That's never the case! U said Dbanj took a calculated risk, but all of it seems to have backfired and all the walls have crumbled on him, if not why all the rumours the dude is dead broke. U don't leave what's certain and say because u want to go international, u dump ur mo'hit crew. Do you know how many artist springs up everyday in yankee? Naaa, I bet u don't, its natural to have misunderstanding, even twin brothers peter and paul had issues, Lil-wayne and Bird-man are currently having issues, Banky W and Wizkid had issues, but Dbanj and The Don had come a long way and Dbanj tot, what da eff, I'l go to yankee meet kanye west and boom, that's it. Mtcheeew! Don jazzy as far as I know was willing to keep looking out for Dbanj, Kanye west was definately not going to look out for him, has kanye finished solving his own problems ni? Greed is a factor u can't rule out here. Somebody was being greedy and I sensed Dbanj was the greedy party. |
But truthfully, every business is about profit maximization and cost minimization. To live in the New york is very very expensive and Don Jazzy is a business man. A lion in the jungle nigeria is better than a dog in the city newyork Dbanj is my man ooo, but I'm thinking he really has blame here. Kanye West was never in the first place going to look out for him. |
power must change hands. There must be hand over from GEJ to GMB Insha Allaha. |

Crazy world we live in.. Until the church can be seperated from the state, there would keep being all these issues. Religion and Politics is a dangerous trend. Obasanjo cÀlled Goodluck in presence of 2 powerful RÉligious FÍgures, Oyedepo and Pastor Adeboye.. That is Religion and Politics intertwined. Until the church is sepÉrated from the state sociological advancement would still be far off. |
Temptee101:Nobody owns enugu. Nobody owns Anambara. Stop deceiving urself. When jungle mature, the true owners of lagos would stand up. I think Fashola still needs to deport more of these miscreants |

Jonathan is Just the "First Man".. The real president is Her Excellency "Dame Patience Ebele Jonathan" Very powerful woman President. Who says Nigeria still needs women president in the future. We have 4 Female presidents already. |
1. Albert Einstein » Physicist Best known for the General Theory of Relativity Most of us take Einstein's name as synonymous with genius, but he didn't always show such promise. Einstein did not speak until he was four and did not read until he was seven, causing his teachers and parents to think he was mentally handicapped, slow and anti-social. Eventually, he was expelled from school and was refused admittance to the Zurich Polytechnic School. It might have taken him a bit longer, but most people would agree that he caught on pretty well in the end, winning the Nobel Prize and changing the face of modern physics. 2. Walt Disney » Business Man Founder of The Walt Disney Company. Today Disney rakes in billions from merchandise, movies and theme parks around the world, but Walt Disney himself had a bit of a rough start. He was fired by a newspaper editor because, "he lacked imagination and had no good ideas." After that, Disney started a number of businesses that didn't last too long and ended with bankruptcy and failure. He kept plugging along, however, and eventually found a recipe for success that worked. 3. Isaac Newton » Scientist Best known for: Universal gravitation, Newton's method, Newtonian mechanics, Optics, Infinitesimal calculus. Newton was undoubtedly a genius when it came to math, but he had some failings early on. He never did particularly well in school and when put in charge of running the family farm, he failed miserably, so poorly in fact that an uncle took charge and sent him off to Cambridge where he finally blossomed into the scholar we know today. 4. Thomas Edison » Inventor and Businessman Best known for Electric Light Bulb. In his early years, teachers told Edison he was "too stupid to learn anything." Work was no better, as he was fired from his first two jobs for not being productive enough. Even as an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. Of course, all those unsuccessful attempts finally resulted in the design that worked. 5. Henry Ford » Business Man Founder of Ford Motor. While Ford is today known for his innovative assembly line and American-made cars, he wasn't an instant success. In fact, his early businesses failed and left him broke five times before he founded the successful Ford Motor Company. 6. Soichiro Honda » Business Man Founder of Honda Motor. The billion-dollar business that is Honda began with a series of failures and fortunate turns of luck. Honda was turned down by Toyota Motor Corporation for a job after interviewing for a job as an engineer, leaving him jobless for quite some time. He started making scooters of his own at home, and spurred on by his neighbors, finally started his own business. 7. Akio Morita » Business Man Founder of Sony Corporation. You may not have heard of Morita but you've undoubtedly heard of his company, Sony. Sony's first product was a rice cooker that unfortunately didn't cook rice so much as burn it, selling less than 100 units. This first setback didn't stop Morita and his partners as they pushed forward to create a multi-billion dollar company. 8. Orville and Wilbur Wright (Wright Brothers) » Airplane Inventors Education: Completed High School. These brothers battled depression and family illness before starting the bicycle shop that would lead them to experimenting with flight. After numerous attempts at creating flying machines, several years of hard work, and tons of failed prototypes, the brothers finally created a plane that could get airborne and stay there. 10. Abraham Lincoln » US Politician While today he is remembered as one of the greatest leaders of our nation, Lincoln's life wasn't so easy. In his youth he went to war a captain and returned a private (if you're not familiar with military ranks, just know that private is as low as it goes.) Lincoln didn't stop failing there, however. He started numerous failed business and was defeated in numerous runs he made for public office. "Next time you're feeling down about your failures in college or in a career, keep these famous people in mind and remind yourself that sometimes failure is just the first step towards success." Be inspired. SHARE this. |
