Mariinee:Much as I admire the determination of Cee-C's fans, it would appear that even the Tobi and Alex she supposedly 'toppled' still emerged victorious over her. They won rewards. Tobi won the Nokia and Heritage Bank prize plus a trip to Dubai, I believe. And Alex won half a million naira and the Dano treat for her mother. Cee-C, on the other hand, won nothing but verbal fights. She walked out completely empty handed, and her final week in the house was marked with utter shame and humiliation, ending up as the first HOH in BBA history to be shamefully stripped of her title midway into her tenure. An utter disgrace. Leo DaSilva (who was evicted a long time ago) even won 2.5 million. And I believe Rico Swavey also won something. Cee-C has absolutely nothing, so finishing 2nd place will do nothing for her. She also ruined her chances at Payporte endorsements, so that door is also closed. Too bad, so sad. |
Favolly:I mean, even the much maligned Alex at least won half a million naira and the CloseUp and Dano Milk treat. This Cynthia person is leaving without a kobo, and you know damn well she isn't getting any endorsements from Payporte (if their open criticism of her previous action is anything to go by). This lady just pretty much spent 80-something days on continental television demarketing herself! Hell, even Leo DaSilva won 2 million or so, and he didn't have to make it to the finals to do so. What a pity! |
The Cee-C lady walked out completely empty-handed? Jesus. She should have just left the same weekend Teddy A was evicted. That would have actually saved her the stress. |
dominique:Shame the hand that was dealt to your guy Lolu, though. Big Brother can be weird sometimes. |
It would appear that the individual known as Miracle has won the money. |
MrBigiman:Mehn, that was deep. Almost brought tears to my eyes. ![]() |
safarigirl:Damn! This is intense! ![]() |
I got to soak myself in 2 hours (staggered, regardless) of Big Brother Naija today. And watching it reinforced my erstwhile fleeting notion, that the individual known as 'Nina' is simply unintelligent. ![]() |
dominique:My wife's cousin in Nigeria has been flooding our Facebook notifications with Nina and Miracle related posts which she leaves on various pages and groups, so my curiosity has me scouring the internet a bit. I've been seeing things like Mina, Toracle, ToNaClex (is this some kind of contraband bleaching cream or something?) and Loluforce. Whatever they mean, she decided to beam Nina's diary session to me via her Twitter Periscope, and I honestly am dumbfounded. Seems like you like this girl, though? I presume her unassuming demeanour is what you find endearing. ![]() All the same, good luck to her. |
dre11:My bro! Longest time. A lot has really happened since 2014, hasn't it? ![]() I feel so old now. ![]() |
OldBeer:I understand that Big Brother has never necessarily been about intellect or wit. But, my God! They really scraped the bottom of the barrel with this one. |
I just finished watching the session of one Nina. I must say, this individual doesn't seem too bright... ![]() |
tsquaure:Or perhaps the Mina shippers could go create a GoFundMe account to pay off Collins and Julie (Miracle's girlfriend) once and for all. |
sparkiy:Hmmm... I haven't watched Big Brother since I left Nigeria 4 years ago. But this very post has some seeeeerious Déjà-vu vibes right now. 5 years ago (Damn! It's been that long?) there existed a cult known as Mellish... And, uhh... I'll tell you later. |

waxdude:Mah mayne! ![]() |
MizzD:I knooooow, right?! ![]() |
Neimar:I truly appreciate the fact that the word "pussy" is no longer listed as profane by the Nairaland word filter. This is, indeed, a good omen. |
dominique:Haaaaaah!!! Na so you sharp so? ![]() Longest time, buddy. ![]() |
Wow! ![]() |
NgeneUkwenu:Look again, dude...
|
PERFECTO!!! I'm overjoyed! What an amazing way to end the year! ![]() Abia will be great! |
moderation2020:And you're also nincompoops. Just look at you spewing this nonsense and refusing to learn from history. If what befell the North-Easterners should end up befalling us, I pray God destroys and ravages your useless corpse for an eternity. Talk about putting the cart before the horse. Oya, join us and rid our land of TA Orji and his destructive cabal, una no do. Okay, summon this crowd and join us in protest against the BRAZEN rappe of democracy that foisted Ikpeazu upon us, una foolishly no gree do. Join us in our protest against kleptomaniac Okorocha, una no get mouth. But come out and waste your lives protesting the arrest of a UK-based confusionist who has made no positive contribution to our development or prosperity as a people? Eheeeeeen! Na there we go see you useless miscreants and urchins bent on bringing nothing but shame and resentment to our ethnic nation. If iddiots like you and your pack of urchins are allowed to have their way with this type of abominable mindset, that Biafra will turn out just like that Orwellian political nightmare, Animal Farm. So many Chinos lurking in the shadows with their exceptionalist extremism, so many Abagworos slinking at the periphery with their identity crises... Many similar issues left brooding and unveiling slowly, and all you can think of is your fhucking fantasy state? Instead of joining to help build the South-East with innovative leadership models and cultural renaissance, you're AIMLESSLY dreaming on a state that went defunct 45 years ago and would NEVER WORK OUT AS EARLIER ENVISAGED IN THIS 21ST CENTURY, WITH THE ETHNO-POLITICAL EVENTS THAT HAVE PLAYED OUT SINCE THEN! Talk about living in the fhucking past and NEVER WANTING TO ADAPT TO THE TIMES! I would like to appeal to all other fellow well-meaning Igbos to join us in condemning these ill-informed miscreants before they hijack our cultural history and turn it into nothing more than khaki uniforms and demented, war-mongering radioheads. There is more to the Igbo nation than Biafra. We existed centuries before that, so PLEASE stop trying to make our identity all about that, you scatterbrained FANATICS! |
This thread is so freaking hilarious, I can't even begin to get down to it! ![]() So many emotional ninnies on Nairaland of late, particularly these delusional Nnamdi K-anumaanu "Biafra-and-Friendz" asss clowns and their It seems so many hearts were broken this weekend after REALITY finally stared these ![]() While I tried to resist the OBVIOUS urge to say "I TOLD YOU SO," and as much as i take no interest in tribal debates, I couldn't help but recall this exchange I had with this nice lady, Rose2014, some months back... Psychedelia:She replied with this... Rose2014:Soooo... Rose2014... Nne, how far naa? Gini mezii last? ![]() If this is how the Biafran 'leaders of thought' are going to be guided in their decisions (with EMOTIONS and very little thought), then I really suggest that Biafran project is put on hold for now, please. And as for that nincompoop called "TRIBALSTOOGE", who was insulting me on that thread, I hope you can now see how dumb you were. Ihere onwe gi gbukwaa gi there. Obi kara gi inye mu mkpari. MUNWA NKEA! Ogalagidi 1 of Bende, n'ihi ONYE MBA MMIRI! ARU!!! I zuzugbuola onwe gi. Odibo onye mbammiri n'akpari nwanne ya. ..... BLOODY FOOL!!! |
Reminds me of Morgan Freeman's catastrophic FAILURE of a Xhosa accent as Nelson Mandela in "Invictus" - a film for which he was still nominated for an oscar in the "Best Actor" category. Hollywood actors are absolute failures when it comes to portraying Africans in their movies, as most of the character development reeks of laziness and poor research. Only very few Hollywood actors have impressed me with their portrayal of African characters, both in accent and swagger: Forest Whitaker as Idi Amin in "The Last King of Scotland". Leonardo DiCaprio as Danny Archer in "Blood Diamond". Don Cheadle as Paul Rusesabagina in "Hotel Rwanda". Everybody else annoys me. |

Taraba (Jalingo) - 12 Points I'm most ecstatic that my Enyimba's arch nemesis (Kano Pillars) are currently fumbling. This is good news for us and our chances at clinching that title again this year. Also worthy of note is the fact that we've been able to record some crucial away victories (4 wins), more than any other team this year so far. ![]() The only other team that comes close is Wikki Tourist (3 wins), but they got served at Owerri today. Humiliating 4-0 |
nwadiuko1:Abia. |
Representing God's own state! ![]() Anambra's figures, though... JESU!!! |
Jorussia:Yes... but eliminating these men is not something you can do at this point without paying dearly for it. I know Atiku, for one, invested a lot of money into the party during the elections, so asking him to leave now would only bring more trouble. Another fact many are unaware of, is that the campaign funding for numerous Adamawa state assembly politicians currently serving under the APC was made possible by Atiku. So, if you throw him out now, he takes the Adamawa structure with him. Saraki is a no-go area for two reasons: 1. Elected politicians tend to 'mutate'. Jonathan, prior to ascending as the deputy governor of Bayelsa, probably would never have won as chairman of his Ogbia LGA if he had contested based on his political might at that time. But as soon as he rose to the seat of the presidency, he 'mutated' to become a strong force and a symbol in South-South politics (at least for that period of time), imposing Dickson on Bayelsa and even stemming the political tide in Rivers. Any South-Southerner against him was seen as a backstabber and treated like a leper in the Niger Delta. I won't say Saraki has 'mutated' to that extent just yet, but I think his Senate Presidency has earned him more relevance in North-Central politics. You can't count on eliminating him at this point without some serious collateral damage. 2. Saraki, whether you want to admit it or not, would serve the North-West in ensuring that Buhari dies not get impeached. I mean, he wouldn't be dumb as to help kick out Buhari only to have a South-Westerner (Osinbajo) emerge as acting president. That would be tantamount to HAND-FEEDING Tinubu. So, right now, the North would rally behind him. Power is back in the hands of the North. ACN faction got played. The end. |
Jorussia:Heyyaaaa! *sob* *sob* But you should have thought about this when you were welcoming all kinds of strangers and defectors with open arms in 2013. We were all witness to the wild jubiliation that gripped APC supporters from late 2013 to early 2015 when all kinds of last-minute defections were happening. At the time, you thought this would only spite Jonathan. When we brought this to the attention of APC, what did they say? "POLITICS IS A GAME OF NUMBERS". I remember that was the narrative. What happened eventually? As I am speaking to you, the worst governor in the history of Anambra state, Mbadinuju, is a proud, card-carrying member of the APC. Your co-travellers hailed his defection and forgave all his sins o! The professional political harlottt Atiku is still in the APC, waiting to strike at the right time. The Fulani supremacist and religious bigot Kwankwaso is still in your same APC o! Rochas Okorocha the seasoned political scammer is still in your APC o! Tambuwal the backstabber na still for that same APC o! Obasanjo the power-hungry 3rd-term-seeking kleptocrat is your navigator o! All these men were welcomed with open arms as progressives because the APC was so desperate to win the elections. Now the chickens are coming home to roost, una dey form levels. What a joke! I warned you people.Better sit tight and enjoy your "Change". Check out the exchange between me and Ilugunboy on December 2013, during the defection wave... Psychedelia:https://www.nairaland.com/1561747/hilarious-photo-pdp-apc-exodus/1 I freaking warned you people! ![]() |
lolu007:Tell me about it. These days, there's Flash Animated trash like Skunk Fu, not to mention the Amazing Adrenalini Brothers. Even Ben10 atleast had some semblance of artistry to it during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd seasons. But after Alien Force and Omniverse? Naaah, it was time to call it quits. I'm officially off TV cartoons and Cartoon Network now, but it would be awesome if I found a DVD Box Set of my favorite Hanna Barbera cartoons like The Jetsons though, just to show my future kids what real animation is. |
