samsonyah: Wow I cant believe this. You are right people dont know the SCRIPTURES. It is not ment to be taken literaly. The FATHER knowes what people even good loving people will do and how far they will go to keep life in the body. He is not commanding them to eat flesh he just knows that they will when faced with starvation but the SON said if you love your life you will loose it. If you give up your life you will save it. Hopefully we have taken his way and will not eat our children when faced with ddeath. HE was not telling them to eat HE just knew they wood and was stating that they would when facing death.
Even today there are Orthodox Jewish groups, who practice human sacrifice ... In the XXI century.
This is not a parable: the Jewish god demanded human sacrifices.

But I have no sympathy with the European and Jewish traditions.
I accepted his advice, you accept mine:
Give up this false Jewish god, and return to the traditions of their ancestors ...

Christianity EtcRe: Can A Spirit Filled Christians Still Be Possessed By Demon(s)? by Ptolomeus(m): 7:57pm On Jul 31, 2012
Goshen360: The case is not as you understand it my friend. You see, we have the "immatures" in Christ who are constantly being spoon fed and these are referred to those who are tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. The bible also say, an heir when he a child is not different or better than a slave. What are we saying? Many Christian do not know and understand their right/priviledges in Christ hence, they succumb to anything. In such case, the bible says, bear the burden of one another. The issue is not the true believers verses Satan. The issue is the true church still fighting the false church. Hence, the efforts of the faithful "fews" that the bible talked about is being sabotaged.

What do you have to say about this topic though?
I totally agree.
It is difficult to follow a doctrine, a gospel, with so many false churches, with many tendentious interpretations ...
Perhaps the road is, unmasking the phonies ... do not know ...
A hard struggle ahead ...

If you do not know what "suffering" is, you had not intervened.

However, the definition of the word "suffering" can you find in a dictionary (dictionaries do not bite), or learn it in school.

in what way is the christian doctrine any of the above ?

care to explain ?
James 5:11 "Behold, we count them blessed who suffer, have heard of the patience of Job and have seen the end of the Lord, the Lord is very compassionate and merciful."

Matthew 16:24 "Then Jesus told his disciples, If any man will come after me must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me."
"We share His sufferings in order to share in His glory." The apostle Paul expresses the same idea in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18.

Suffering is necessary in the Christian life (John 15:20, 16:33).

Suffering prepares the way for the glory of the Christian. This proves that we are the sons of God (Matt. 5:11-12, John. 15:18-20).

Is necessary to fill the thread with passages like these?

2. if the funds were lawfully acquired, then shut the heck up.
Ammmmmmmmm

A doubt:
1. God is blessing enriches a pastor when collecting the tithe and buy airplanes?
Then, that same God is punishing those who tithe and live in poverty.
2. Enriched to the degree of buy aircraft and live in opulence, the faithful entanto lack of food is legal ... but (this is my question) is morally ethical?

Excuse me, is just one doubt.

are you saying all poor people in the world are christians?
No.
Let me explain:
1. To Christians like to suffer ... for this reason prefer to be poor.
2. Not all the world's poor are Christians (pastors are not poor, quite the contrary, pastors are rich people with money of others).
3. The Christian doctrine is the doctrine of suffering, of poverty, of conformity.
I hope now if my answer has been understood.
Christianity EtcRe: Can A Spirit Filled Christians Still Be Possessed By Demon(s)? by Ptolomeus(m): 5:36pm On Jul 31, 2012
Excellent thread, my friend!
It is contradictory that the vast majority of the "possessed" are just Christians...
The question that arises is this: the Christian God does not protect its devotees? The Christian god has no power to care for their children from the dangers of Satan?
I never understood that.
I do not understand why a God so powerful, is fighting for thousands of years against Satan, unable to overcome ...
I suitable to send a fraternal embrace, dear friend!

I'm saying that Christians should be poor ... very poor ... take care of that pastors ... but also Christians are like the suffering ...
I think that is not very complex to understand ...

Sorry to ask you this: you are the guy saying you have a muslim girlfriend? And I think I have read you defending homosexual, even so much that you have been called one.

Maybe its my mistake. I don't know how a muslim girl can date an atheist.
i dont know how a true homosexual can be dating a woman.

Please clarify. And if I am wrong, I truly apologize.
If we discriminate against homosexuals, we do not reclaim that do not discriminate against blacks ...
Racism and discrimination is the same for everyone.
I clarify that I am not gay, but repugnant to me any kind of discrimination.
And if discrimination is ordered by a god .. that god forgive me, but not a god ... it's a slag.

It would be interesting to read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights ...
Sometimes comments violate international laws and those laws are above any religion.
My greatest respect.

Ask yourself why all this happened.

CultureRe: Should Christianity Restrict You From Partaking In Your Tradition? by Ptolomeus(m): 4:42pm On Jul 31, 2012
Dear friend Odumchi:
I speak from the reality of my country ... and I do so with the greatest respect for Christians.
Here (and in all countries of South America) Christianity trumps all other beliefs. Those who follow African traditions ... as they we are worshipers of the devil ... I do not think it's the right way of coexistence and mutual respect.
I have studied quite the problem African, and I know the enormous social pressure, cultural and economic Christians did to eradicate every thought different from theirs.

I had the honor of participating in Bahia (Brazil) in a ceremony at the Church of St. Lazaro (Catholic). Before Mass, the African traditionalist groups held a ceremony to honor Omolu, at the door of the church against the Catholic priest. Lueo that, Catholic Last, was celebrated with the participation of all ... I think it is mutual respect ... that's coexistence and tolerance.

Intolerance and totalitarianism are consequences of Nazism, which should disappear. What you have mentioned, my friend, is part of planning that have always been Christians: get rid of African culture. Why? Because the bottom line, there is a racial issue: the culture of blacks is not culture, the traditions of blacks are not traditions ... It is a very insidious form of racism ... after the speech of "modernization, the inclusion in a modern world and civilization, there is actually a racist subjugation and contempt.
Brothers, whatever our beliefs, care for cultural heritage! Take care of the legacy of our ancestors ... the infinite riches that Africa has, and is admired all over the world!
Receive all of you a warm hug!

Very beautiful reception of African brothers!
Dear friend ... appearances do not define people.
Skin color is the result of circumstances that are foreign to us. There are black and white, who curse their origins.
Each of us is what it is.
I'm not black, but my great-grandmother was black slave.
I feel my African roots ...
I congratulate you on your pride!.
And the dear brothers in the forum, I congratulate them for their hospitality.
Please accept my warm greetings all!

Si. The vast majority of Christians are poor.
Tithing is part of the explanation, but not the only one.
Christians make a kind of "cult of suffering" "cult of fear" and "cult of repression", which is reflected in all areas of life.

There are things worse than a tattoo ...
A friend of mine, was bewitched by the pastor in a Pentecostal church ...
My friend was charmed by the pastor, to pay the tithe for the pastor. With a traditional priest, my friend recovered common sense, and he forced the pastor to pay you back.
