alexistaiwo: After breaking up with my exgirlfriend since 2012. she just called me out of the blues sometime early this year taking she misses me and she is coming to visit me. I didn't smell foul play until she arrived at my place around 9.30pm in the night. I had to consult my sixth sense because when we were still together, she usually leave my place whenever she visits latest 8pm only on rare cases 8.30pm. When she arrived, she triedf seducing me but I was able to resist her advances by telling her am in love with another girl and as she knows when we were dating, I don't cheat on whom ever am dating at any particular period in time. I don't know what made me look at her belly but I had this hunch which I told my friends who were calling me a fool for not having a taste of the free meal offered that the girl is pregnant. Fast now to September, can u imagine that the same girl has given birth to a baby girl and she even had the guts to call to inform me, knowing fully well that if I had given in to her advances that night, she would had blackmail me into accepting a pregnancy which isn't mine. some girls can be cruel
luchy34: A close friend of mine discussed this issue over the weekend. He said he needs an urgent advice so I decided to bring it up here. This is his story. Michael (not real name). 28 years has been in a relationship with this girl for four years. According to him they are actually planning to get married next year. The girl in question resides in the states (united states) and she's working and also schooling there. But every year she spends her holidays down here in Nigeria, it was during one of her holidays that Michael met her. To cut a love story short they both fell in love, so much in love that the decided to take there relationship to the next level. Michael is a banker and he wants to settle down with this girl. According to him he has done a formal introduction to the girls parents and the agreed to accept him as their in-law. They have even fixed there wedding sometime next year after his fiancee graduation. Now he has a serious problem, during her last visit to Nigeria last month Michael noticed something different in her. He said that she suffers from chronic mood swings and sometimes extremely depressed. At first he wasn't bothered because he said that when they started dating initially he saw those traits in her but waved it off as her normal behaviour And he also said that it only happens to her whenever she's angry or the have a little bit of quarrel. But this her last visit revealed otherwise. This time according to him she gets a bit violent and needs a powerful subduing before she calms down. Then to his greatest shocker he noticed some pills she takes, when he went online to search what those pills are for he discovered it was for patients with Bi polar disorder... Now my friend is really confused he doesn't know what to do. He truly loves this girl but he's afraid of her behaviour and since they're planning to get married there's no going back. What suitable advice can we give him because this is serious.

seeteazain: Top Nigerian stand-up comedian BasketMouth has blasted former president Goodluck Jonathan and his administration for allegedly looting the public treasury. During his show BM Uncensored in Houston, Texas, BasketMouth didn't hold back as he aired his thoughts about the high level of corruption in the last administration. "And the funny thing is Buhari is now in power and everyone is hating on the guy under two months. I said some sh&t that made the news. Me, I don't care. I am not normally into politics but when I see some sh*t I say it. Goodluck was there for six years, all they did was steal money. Yeah I will say it..." said Basketmouth.

A 45- year old man, Idris Ahmed, from Bassa Local Government of Kogi state strayed into the NUJ Press Centre, Enugu state, Wednesday afternoon with a funny story that bothers on spiritual attack. He obviously has given up on life and is contemplating suicide if nothing urgently is done to his case. According to his story, since 1999, anybody that comes across him had rejected him with the phantom story that he is a homo-sexual which he clearly denied. ‘As far as am concerned, am tired of life. Anybody that tries to be nice to you, or tries to give me work, unseen people will come and sabotage me. If I make friend with a girl, unseen forces will still corner the girl that am a homo-sexual and the girl will run away. At this point, am 45 years and nobody is ready to marry me. Am a bricklayer but as i speak, no work anywhere. Am tired of life, i cannot get job, i cannot stay with a woman, i cannot relate with anybody. There is no way out for me than to cry out and see if i will get any spiritual help, though am a moslem but am ready for any assistance from anywhere but if none comes soonest, then i have the last option. http://www..net/2015/07/photos-man-dashes-into-nuj-office-says.html cc lalasticlala, ishilove
Me: my loyalty lies with my employer not my customer. If its in the best interest of my company in the long run that I lie,as long as I won't be liable for the lie I will lie. Its left for the customer to do his home work. But it depends on the effect of the lie. If it will affect humanity in a negative way, then I will not. I am a man of integrity but I also know the essence of loyalty.
Gabon's political opposition have accused
Lionel Messi of showing a "lack of respect for
standards and principles" after the Barcelona
star met the African nation's president wearing
denim shorts and a T-shirt.
Messi, 28, jetted into Gabon earlier this week
on the first leg of a five-day visit to Africa, and
met President Ali Bongo Ondimba in relaxed
clothing.
A statement from the Union du Peuple
Gabonais (UPG) party read: "The messiah of
football arrived in Gabon like he were going to
a zoo: dirty, unshaven and his hands in his
pockets, looking for peanuts to throw to them!
"When you're called Lionel Messi and you're a
multi-billionaire, you don't have the right to
present yourself to officials of a republic, even
a banana one, with your hands in the pockets of
a ripped, tattered pair of shorts.
"Gabon isn't a zoo. We don't know what the
Argentine came to Gabon for, but we at least
have the right to denounce his negligence and
his lack of respect for standards and principles.
We are uneasy with Messi's attitude and his
attire. Only for these reasons, linked to respect
for the host country, do we condemn the
footballer's indelicateness, to say the least!"
President Bongo himself drove Messi through
the streets of the Gabonese capital, Libreville,
in a jeep before the Argentina international
laid the first stone of the stadium at Port-
Gentil, which will stage Africa Nations Cup final
tournament matches in 2017.
France Football reported that Messi was paid
€3.5 million for the visit, which was reportedly
organised by Samuel Eto'o, a confidante of
President Bongo.
However, that claim was denied by Messi, who
-- according to El Mundo Deportivo -- has asked
France Football to rectify the report, and state
that he did not receive a single cent for the
visit. The Spanish paper said it had
independently verified that Messi was not paid.
It reported that Messi had made the visit also
as a courtesy to Alejandro Echevarria and
Jaume Ferrer, both former directors of
Barcelona and now leading figures in the
Gabonese FA.

Elegantdiva: Please i need help/ideas on how to handle my boss and Job!
I have been working With him for the past 5-6 months now. Whenever its month end he acts funny (looking for faults, though he has not seen any) he pays me every 13 of each month (He pays 10-14 days after 13) Which has not been a problem.
Recently he said i have not been useful to his company. His company is going down because of me. Now he doesnt want to pay me off or pay me. My people i have prayed and fasted for an improvement, yet nothing. U know why? the services we are into, he is not good at it (people are complaining). Our price is twice higher than others around us. He is not always around. Lastly , He is very rude to clients . The worst of it all, he doesnt want to change rather he thinks am not working hard.
Now my fears, i dont want to stay idle at home( even though my duties are not useful to my career) secondly, He has not givne me my appointment letter.
Pls advice me on what to do. I have lost my peace of mind. i feel less of myself.
Before i forget, The post was for Computer operator but i saw another duty when i came in.
Lie to him that your mum is sick or any other lie and beg him to give you some of your salary... If he does then you quit..
Believe me its better to sit idle at home than work a hypertensive job... As long as you are sure you are not the one to blame.
I Am in a similar situation and I get my pay steady no excuse and my job security is sure, but my boss is my uncle and he doesn't treat me with as much respect, so I tendered my resignation to quit this month end...
Don't ever be scared to quit ur job becos u have nothing yet... All u need is a plan.
charleff512: I work in a parastatal and going by the organizational structure I have a lot of superiors. When it comes to social media, I believe I have a right to who I should choose and relate with as friends. But there's this top officer that came to challenge me in my unit that I refuse to accept her friend request. I was forced to do so. My question is, is it ideal to relate with one's boss on the social media?
What's wrong with you relating with them? Are you an anti-social guy?
Well personally I don't like it... I am a bit of a weird person though and I don't think there is another like me in this world so I can't tell you not to. But I think you should accept them and engage in conversations becos this could in the long run be give a bit more job security than if you aren't involved. Even if you aren't comfortable with it, you should go ahead with it, sometimes you just have to do these things. Even if you don't like it.
