For UK visas yes these options exist but for France visas through VFS, unfortunately no. You must submit your passport and I am not aware of any priority fast service options.

Either it will be fixed or not will depend on whether your UK visa application was approved for 10 years or not.

If you applied for a 10-year UK visa and the UKVI approved your application for that 10-year duration, but when you received your passport, you saw a visa of shorter duration, it will be fixed in this situation if you file a complaint.

If you applied for a 10-year UK visa but the UKVI only approved your application for a shorter duration for any reason, then it will not be fixed in this scenario, and the difference in fee will not be refunded to you.

Your best option now is to file a complaint because it could be human error.
 

Thank you for responding , I have had 3 uk visas , with the last one issued in 2020 even though I didn't use it because of the covid pandemic restriction. Fortunately I discovered while I was still at the TLS centre and was asked to print the first page of the doc check list that has the duration and amount I paid and was asked to submit the passport. They also requested for 2 numbers I can be reached on and was asked to register it in a book..

Also is there an option of keep my passport till visa is approved at the France embassy.

She will get a reminder from them 72 hrs before the appointment.

I didn't get a refusal mail but 2 travel document ready for collection mail ,upon tracking I see this , does this mean it was approved .

It's been fluctuating cos of exchange rate , if you put your start and end dates it will calculate automatically but you can budget Abt $1300-1400 for both.

This happened to me in 2018 when i applied through Dropbox and my application was placed on administrative processing for about 3 months and i was eventually invited to appear at the embassy for a physical interview. I don't know about the name being flagged, but I'm certain that they might have some questions

You no longer qualify for Interview waiver/ drop box as it's over 24 months your visa expired

Yes because it's now over 24 months so same rule applies .
There were very cases were some people paid their visa fees and submitted their DS 60 form long before their eligibility expired but didn't get an appointment date till after it expired and they were still able to submit .
However I do not know if it's because they paid before eligibility expired or they just found favour in the sight of the person that attended to them ..some were rejected and some accepted

You no longer qualify for drop box/ interview waiver , your visa must have expired within the last 2 years to be eligible .

You will need to a fresh interview appointment date .

Join the telegram group for IW appointment. That's the fastest way to get an appointment but you must be ready to work as a team .

With IW, you will still need to show face at the embassy but that aside. You can request for EA and you will get an earlier date

He will just submit at the embassy if he is using Lagos , not like he will be attending an interview . Abuja is at DHL office .
