It won't as long as you declare the refusal and the reason for it . Yes you can include it to support her ties in Naija and it's not just her statement , anything that can support her application, if she is a member of a church or any association, properties , or other children or grandkids in Naija , you can also include the pics and mention it in her LOE .if she has a business here , mention it too . I noticed the refusal letters I have seen of late .they mention that they don't doubt the sponsor's capability to fend for the applicant but they still need to assess the applicant . Do you mean the date you receive your letter to go for biometrics . Some people get notified same day, some a day after , some a week and I presently know someone that's been waiting for two weeks . I don't know if it's same for every category but for visitors visa , you need to do it within 30 days after you got your biometric collection letter . I would advise you try and book an appointment as soon as possible as you may not get a date immediately. damosade: |

Submit the documents required for the embassy you are applying to . If you are using vfs , they have a pre- scrutiny desk , if they don't need it , they will give you back . For your son , you can pay for insurance for both of you but check to ensure his name is listed( usually on the 2nd page ) and the number of passengers is reflected on the insurance They allow up to 10 or 20 names for those travelling as a group . It's okay to book your hotel and flight together but print a copy for your son for each of the booking ..even your bank statement . Although you are applying together but it's going to be treated seperately , he will also need to have his own docs which will be kept in between his passport . itunuoye: |

No it won't , he is expected to arrive earlier then course start date to sort out accomodation and settle in . What they frown at is when someone comes too early . They issue visas based on either the validity of your passport or your biometrics date . Biometrics is valid for 10 yrs. So if your passport will expire in 9 months time , you will be issued 9 months even if your biometrics was done this year . If it will expire in 2026, you will be issued 3 yrs . If it's a new passport that's valid for 5 yrs, you will get 5, if it's 10 yrs you will get 10 yrs . But if you did your biometrics last year and you have a passport valid for 10 yrs , you will get 9 years . Clearly this agent does not understand the way it works ? Is there any reason why you don't want to do the application yourself. Some agents can misrepresent and one can be refused or placed on a ban . They no longer place any letter with the passport. Any other information that needs to be passed is sent by email . If it's a student visa , The person should have received or would receive a BRP mail which will have more details . You will need to upload all your docs yourself before biometrics unless you want to pay abt 12k for assisted service .then you can take them with you on the day of your biometrics. Even if your sponsor is paying for all , you can still attach your bank statement especially if you are working, this will show you have ties here , and your salary is being paid . You should also get an introduction letter from your office , your pay slips , staff ID card. Provide an itinerary of what you plan to do during your visit . Your sponsor will also need to provide his bank statement and not just the invitation letter , utility bill and if possible his pay stub, And also write a sponsorship letter that he will be fully responsible for the flight , accomodation ,feeding etc and a consent letter to use his statement since you are the one uploading it . They have been fast of late . Some people got their visas within 4-6 weeks after they applies and they don't have any family or friends in Canada . It's worth trying , but upload the new passport BioData page as additional documents and also send a web mail to that regard before you submit your old & new passport and above all pray for favour . How I wished you started the process of renewal of your passport as soon as you applied instead of waiting til your approval .
