Thanks for the update.....mmy brother filed the petition in February 2014 with the Vermont center, I see yours is even five months earlier than mine. Which center was yours filed in? You should get approved soon too. Best of luck

Good day guys. Please I need your help. My husband and I got refused uk visitor visa today. Find attached our refusal letter. They said my husband’s cac documents says inactive and I was rejected because he is being rejected. Kindly advice on the next course of action as we really want to go for the vacation. We have both been to the US. I had my 2 kids in the US but I don’t have a valid us visa. They wrote something about history. Attached is the letter. Should we reapply?? Or just leave them be. Our accounts are very well funded btw. He’s very capable of sponsoring the trip as personal account has more than 15m. I need suggestions please, for them to say funds are not available doesn’t make sense.

I got my B1/B2 renewed last week and thankfully the green card petition my brother did for me 8 years ago was approved on Tuesday and has been sent to DOS for further processing. Please who has an idea of the duration of the process at NVC? Secondly, I am planning a trip in may, what is the covid requirment? Is it still negative PCR test or vaccination? My DH had his IW interview on the 17th of march but was refused on the 23rd.He received a pickup mail yesterday and has picked up his passport today.
A white paper was attached to the passport indicating he should come with a passport photograph not less than 6 months.

Please does he need to book another appointment for that?

My eldest brother has applied and been trying get my Mum’s own residency done but no response yet from the US Embassy/Consulate and that made him not to also reapply to renew her B1/B2 Visa via the interview waiver(IW) along with mine even though I’m yet to get an available data since I reapplied more than a month ago.

@puffmama when I applied the first time under the IW category, I received an email after 3 weeks that I should login to my cgi account and accept the date they chose for me for an in-person interview. I went as scheduled and refused and was told I could always reapply and given back my passport at the embassy. If it was successful, they would have kept it and sent it back via courier (which was paid for at the time of making the visa fee/interview waiver payment online via paypal) after the visa had been issued as they did twice in the past.

So I reapplied under the IW category as there is no limit to the number of times you can reapply because I felt I have a case to make and I paid the fees again and mailed in the DS160, interview waiver and all other supporting documents and a cover letter (which I did not include the first time as I had no reason to believe I would be denied) to prove my case, in a mail-in carton as advised on their website so the passport won't get damaged in transit. So if I am refused, it would be returned by courier and if not, maybe I would be scheduled for another in-person interview to prove my case. But whatever it is, only time would tell. So, I am just keeping my fingers crossed.

Dates come up almost everyday. Nobody has time to update on nairaland. They update on telegram. There are two groups that I know of. The one I asked you to search for and the other one that is run like a military camp. Hopefully the admins of the groups will see this and add you. Hi all, my parents appointment was also moved from April to Jan 2023. I want to try the IW for my mum since her visa just expired recently, please can i use her previous DS-160 or i need to fill a new one? Also she stayed longer than what was on the ds 160 she also came to the US twice but never overstayed is that an issue?

so in filling the ds 160 form, in my attempt to start my dropbox application i see LAgos or ABUJA, lagos has not been good to me thus i always prefer abuja, now i want to know if one can change this location on the form afterwards, or does this have any effect on the dropbox thing?.i want to still pick abuja
