I saw the image you posted Abt 6 months , I also saw it before I started my application. I don't know if it was changed recently but when you get to the part you need to upload docs , the part that has proof of funds , there is a question mark next to it like the other uploads required. If you click on the question mark , you will see where it states at least 4 months . It does not mean you can't use your 6 months .I choose to use 4 months so that I will have less lump sums to explain even though I have docs to justify them . quote author=mikeayus post=125096812]Thanks for the response. Ii was told it will take 5-7 working days in Abuja and 8-10 working days in Lagos but because they no longer give the option of pick up but only courier . It may make sense to add 1-2 days extra for delivery . seankafor: 1 Like 1 Share |

They require at least 4 months .( I saw that when I wanted to apply last week ). I would suggest you use your new salary account so that it shows you have a current job and a regular incomes comes into it. Move all your funds into the salary acct and begin to count afresh for 4 months to avoid any lump sump . I was wondering how the 80k came about . I paid 34,393.14 for vfs service charges to get appointment and 68010 for visa fees . I didn't pay any for courier charges because of where I stay. I am really sorry about this .This looks like an error to me . Her statement would have shown her financial capacity , no mention of it at all . Yes you can. I do that when applying for visas but I also do a break down of savings . I convert the dollars to naira using oanda rate of the date of application and add lit with the naira .in my cover letter . I decided to be doing this because a while ago I read that someone used a dollar acct and the ECO assumed it was in naira and thought she didn't have sufficient funds . I actually saw a copy of the refusal letter posted . How did they go about to become British citizens ..were they born there ? If they were then it's not a problem . But I THINK if they went through study route or the highly skilled migration program they were doing years ago your friend may have a point . I recall someone in the US was denied because his brother went as a student and didn't come back but a citizen now and the VO denied him and said he won't come back as well and mentioned that was how his brother left too . That being said you may need to ensure you provide other ties apart from family that may help in convincing them that you will come back . Thewritingnerd: |

Hello everyone , i submitted my TRV application yesterday evening and I just got a mail to do my biometrics . My passport is at the France Embassy at the moment , I actually just submitted yesterday. I have a scanned copy of the BioData page of my passport , would that be acceptable or do I need to wait to collect my passport . Secondly, if I delay in doing the biometrics but within the 30 days specified , does it delay the processing of my application? |

2 years Visa alert for my daughter . I am making this post because of someone that wants his 19 year old daughter to come on holiday . My daughter previously had a 6 months visa which she used once in 2012. Then no travel history for 11 years . Docs submitted were Cover letter . Introduction letter from her Uni School ID card Association ID card First semester results School fees receipts Room allocation Letter of sponsorship from me Letter of consent to use my statement Bank statement & Reference . You could have opted for their courier services instead of travelling to Lagos . If you didn't get a refusal in your inbox, spam or promotion mail ..it's likely to be approved . Also did you track it ? Did it move from DMC to VAC if it did , that's also a possibility that it was approved . Thank you .I used Ryanair for the other states. For my previous visas I used Airfrance to book the multicity routes , but that was France and Germany so I was thinking I would be able to do same for Spain and Rome .
