Congratulations Fabprincely: Good morning guys
I’ve been a silent observer and follower of this platform since March this year and applied for my first study permit which was refused after 3 months then I decided to go all out my second application’ so I reached out to @Makano global services and we robbed minds together ‘ and reapplied on the 3rd of October 2022 and no update since then not even my upfront medicals was updated to passed and I was giving up and was planning to defer as school resumes on the 9th of January until 2 days ago I got an email from Ircc and I checked Medicals was updated ‘ biometrics too and eligibility stated too ‘ I told Makano and he said I shd start making arrangements for flights ticket that a decision has been made ‘ I still didn’t believe ‘ a day later (yesterday) I got another email it was PPR ..I’m currently typing this from VFS Lekki Lagos ‘ I’m so grateful to God ‘ the gurus and Makano for a well written LOE and SOP when I read them ‘ I saw the reasons I was denied the first time ! |

Thanks for sharing bro have done all this on my SOP do I need to also say it on the LOE Wsx2: Introduce yourself first and say little about your family and parent and what they do as for me I stated my dad late mum also occupation and all my siblings but they all based in the US and Europe so they won't have to come to Canada with me.talk about your course and your interest and how it will be useful also stated what you have been doing and your achievement so far and sum up all your documents hometies especially is very important like properties companies business jobs investment .... Wife hubby or kids may not be enough as hometies and address what will bring you back home with documents backing it up.the Vo need to be convinced that you will come back home even if you have no plans to come back. Main reason why many who has enough funds yet they still get denied .most were unable to convince the vo that something will bring them back home |

wow Sirromey: Congratulations to everyone who just got their visa. My advice for anyone coming to Fanshawe is, if you picked electronics & embedded systems development or any of their Engineering courses, life will be tough for you. It's not to scare you but it's the reality. The way the courses are delivered makes it difficult for people to pass. If the success rate in a class is 20% or less. You know there is a problem. If you can change within the first 10 days to an IT-related course or management. God bless you all. |

congrat masalam hazzaman: So here is the full gist as promised.
Spouse left for Canada April 2021 for a 2 years PG Diploma. Weighed my options during that period and figured that visit was quite faster than SOWP so went for visit. 1st Visit visa application was submitted June 6, 2021. Then the long wait started. Explored the Travel Authorisation to expedite the processing but they didn’t see my reason as good enough. Then they new portal thing came up for those that applied before sept 7th. So I applied for the 2nd visit visa using the new portal in October,2021. Refusal for the 2nd application came in November,2021 with 2 reasons… travel history and insufficient funds. At that time, I was already processing a student visa to UK as naija don tire me. So I just focused on the Uk application.
Resumed studies in Uk in January 2022 and applied for gcms notes. Gcms notes came in April only for me to find out that the insufficient fund was because the officer could not access the mybank statement portal. I was like they could have asked me to present another statement na…
So in June 2022, I had already gathered documents and was weighing options again. At that time, visit visa processing from Uk was 8 days while work permit was 10 weeks. So I opted for visit visa. And the wait began… processing time started increasing till it got to around 145 days… after the 145 days I started sending webforms and email but to no avail. I started giving up and was already working on getting a skilled work visa in uk and settle here. Then spouse said we should try the SOWP. I was very reluctant. Started the application since 29th October but didn’t submit till 9th of December.
Submitted 9th December Biometrics updated 10th December PPR and BVL 15th December Submitted passport 16th December Passport returned to VFS 20th December Passport delivered 21st December
It can only be God. Don't lose hope!
Thanks to everyone that have contributed here. It has been a very long journey… |

I have gotten a new resumption date, can I send it now to IRCC through web form? Please what do you think?
