Bkoks: Hello all, Thought I should share my IW process here. I initially picked Abuja for my physical interview, filled the form in August 2022. When the 48 months extension news was announced, I was excited but sadly Abuja was really slow, after 10 days (Jan 5-16) of not getting a confirmation email to proceed, I switched to Lagos by creating a new DS 160 form got a new application number which I filled in the CGI portal, within 2 days I got a confirmation email. My visa expired Feb 6, 2019, so I had to get a date before Feb 6, 2023, on the 19th of January by sheer luck, I got January 24th for document submission. Timeline Submission at DHL office VI-Jan 24 Created- Jan 25 Approved- Jan 31 Issued - Feb 3rd. Picked up- Feb 7th

the last time i went for submittion last year when i want to submit my brazil visa he said brazil not among the countries schengen count at frequent so i should keep the copy
HRprof: Do they list all the countries to qualify as travel history? I’m talking based on experience with VFS when submitting applications they remove any stamp visa and accept sticker visa which implies that most African countries and Dubai uses stamp on arrival not sticker visa on your passport so they are out of the qualification. If you have sticker visa on your passport to any country use it as travel history. My opinion though

And they gave me admission on the 14th JAN. Now before I could send the new acceptance letter to IRCC through webform my PPR came out. Got my PPR on the 17th JAN. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO NOW PLEASE, YOUR ADVICE IS NEEDED

Champora: It’s cool thanks, I applied for my visa and thankfully got it in around 6-7 working days. I applied on the 12th of Jan, it got sent to the embassy on the 13th jan, received an email from TLS that it was ready for collection on the 23rd and today 24th DHL delivered it to me. I’m quite impressed with the speed of delivery from DHL. I thought I’d share too as the thread has been so silent.
Thanks for all the information also shared earlier on. The staff were also kind and helpful in my experience at TLS.
JUCEleonu: I applied Jan 03rd and got a reference number and notice of onward transmission to DHA on Jan 04th. Counting from Jan 04th to today Jan 24th and it’s exactly 14 business days.
I sent VHS a follow up mail yesterday to which they responded saying my application is still under review but they have escalated it. As of this morning they sent another mail saying it is still under review… for context the 2nd mail this morning was probably still a response to my follow up email of yesterday because I sent it twice.
Bottom line is as of 05:20pm (6:20pm SAT) today, I’m yet to get an outcome for my application. My travel date (Feb 09th) is fast approaching and I’m one who likes ample time to plan a trip.

segzyndpep: 1 month to pay deposit and first semester tuition. Last year they allow you to pay deposit to secure your sit and give you enough time before the program start date to pay the first semester tuition fee. Confirm if its the same kinda offer they sent to you.
bullstriker: 1.You will be a self-sponsor if the company transfers the funds to you without submitting the bank statement. It would be better for the company to transfer to your wife’s account so she can be an eligible sponsor since she is a co-owner. Then, with strategic planning and a proper explanation of the funding received from the school, you can use the funds available to resolve this financial issue.
2. It is part of the proof of funds. Forgive me for saying I believe your application was poorly submitted. The onus is on you to demonstrate how you intend to pay for subsequent years; ‘dumping’ the funding letter in your application without a thorough explanation can leave the VOs with no choice but to deny applications.
