in Asia the penalty is the governments official way of trying to curb it, but it is still generally revered and looked at as a respectful and brave act, hell even their government officials do it.

in the west you are forced to attend rehabilitation centres, and at the moment they are locked in a fierce battle on legalising euthanasia, which when legalised will be a huge step in the battle on suicidal legalization.
