It baffles me a lot seeing young intelligent and even rich guys, going for people who has gotten their life complicated. Bros such people as our celebrities, single mothers , divorcees, etc, has only 15% chance of offering you a quiet and peaceful life in marriage. There's a lot going on around them which will continue to rule their lives for a long-time and such isn't what I will advise any young single guy to delve into. Except you're already married before, or you just want chop and go.

If you wana live long and have control over your own life, without much drama. Look for your own woman, that woman has been taken.

Don't say I didn't tell YOU.

Number 2. No woman leaves her children for any man, even if she does, someday, she will go for them, MUST. Or even try bringing them over ,transferring their responsibilities to you.

9 to 10 hours journey. Left iyana Ipaja Lagos 8pm got to Utako Abuja some minutes past 8pm. God is good drivers are very slow, they won't exceed 110kph. They're not rough though and you'll enjoy the ride. I've traveled to Abuja 6 times through GIG since I made that post, so nothing to worry about.

Why we were fired?
I joined this company last year March, they have the highest number of software developers I'm Africa and I was loving life, the salary is great with breakfast and lunch

They keep on employing so many software engineer with time the engineer become more than the available job, I saw it coming but I don't know what the board was thinking

2. How did the firing process happen?
We have a global (online) meeting which people are asked not to miss, I was not even listening very well to what they are saying, the president said there are more developer than engagement to they have to let some people go, a mail was sent to all impacted people and I discovered what has just happened

Almost 400 people has been fired across Africa

3. Aftermath of being fired… how did you feel, have you recovered, did you get something better?

The company is actually a great one, they brought in pychologist to speak with us, bring in different recruiter, and other stuff, most importantly the payoff was reasonable that I can afford a Mac laptop of almost half-a-million

Luckily for me I got another reasonable job in less than 3 weeks of been retrenched

Let me not say I doubt your story but as someone born into a very wealthy family, I can tell you that having 5.6 million naira doesn't mean you have arrived. Do not let anyone deceive you. If you like, start foolishly living big and don't cut your coat according to your size, you will end up broke in less than 18 months. My two cents.

I don't send any money at all. Currently in my residency I earn about 250k aside my side hustle that pay 500$ monthly. I send my mama 50k and my 2 bros 20k monthly. I find it very hard to give any girl anything as the one that stood by me when I tasted poverty in school got married to a family friend based in u.s, a naval officer.
