After you cancel, did the new date you saw on cancel option appear during rescheduling? Beacause i am experiencing the same issue. when i use cancel option i saw a date in july but when i click on reschedule i saw october. i am afraid to cancel, kindly share how you went about it.

She resheduled without clicking the cancel option, nchose the dates she saw, though in saw, tho in November

I am so sorry about your friend. If and when your friend is sure of their unavailability to attend the appointment, she could have periodically be on the lookout for future dates that are before August but later than May and reschedule. But since time is not on her side anymore, if she could swap dates with someone with a later appointment that is before August. Otherwise, last option would be to cancel the appointment last minute and be on the lookout for dates subsequently ( ps: I am in need of a Lagos date as my start date is June, so if your friend is willing to help, please let me know)

I don't know how date swapping works or if it has a backlash, her interview is on the 8th of may already, when is your date?

@everyone, A friend may not be able to attend her interview scheduled for 8th of may, she got the date on first attempt on scheduling, has never resheduled, her classes start August. What steps should she take in order to reschedule. Again will she notify the consular at lagos that she won't be attending due to unforeseen circumstances? Not a problem at all. Just take both statements. I am not sure about "name" of sponsor appearing on i-20 though. Your mum's deficit cover should be under "family support" and in which case, your husband is also family. So mentioning both as sponsors is not an issue.

Go with both statements. Better to have both statements and not need it than the VO request for it and you don't have it. There is no red flag Your husband covering a part of your tuition/living expenses is even a more compeling story than a sponsor i want to assume is not in your nuclear family.

The first sponsor is my mum her name is already on the 120 and her bank statement covers the amount the school gave, can I just mention that is my mum and husband sponsoring me? Even when my husband's name is not on the 120, but also present his statement.

@ everyone, pls must the amount stated on the 120 by the school be the exact amount your sponsor is giving? Can sponsors amount be more? The amount my current sponsor is providing covers the stated amount by the school, I want to add another sponsor who is my husband. Will this impact negatively. Or I should just go also with hubby's bank statement , since he was not mentioned on the 120 as a sponsor. Pls I need urgent advice. N/B I don't have personal funds.

Ithink you can. You might not even have the opportunity to show them the statements. The VOs really don’t like looking at documents, so most times they don’t ask. Just ensure your story is convincing enough and that you can defend it properly.

@ everyone is it okay to take two bank statements for interview, when you only stated one account on your 120? The account belongs to mum and husband. Mothers bank statement covers everything for a year.

I was in okija campus, my verification was faster than I thought. The delay may depend on the person handling it in elele campus.

Hello house, please I received my evaluation from WES recently, I noticed that the year my degree was awarded is 2016 instead of 2015, I then decided to check all forms I filled , even the application I sent to my school, and it's 2015 I wrote. I sent a mail to WES, though they ve not replied. Will this error have a negative impact if left unresolved now or in the near future.

Yes they'll usually wait until they receive all required documents.

Secondly, it's currently taking them about 15 days to acknowledge receipt of documents- thanks to covid. So just wait 15 days, they'll probably update it before then, if not you can call them.
