To me twilight is not a film I will pay to watch. A friend gave a perfect summarization of twilight as "A disturbed h--or--ny girl who cant make up her mind on who to sleep with. "A dead man or a Dog""
TravelRe: Information On Yankari Games Reserve by PupetMasta(m): 6:43pm On Jul 09, 2010
I was there in January, it was fun, apart from the animals and the warm spring, there are the caves that all connect internally. According to the tour guide it was used during the time of slave trade and war.

The baboons could get wild sometime, During one of my stay at the reserve we were robbed of our food by a gang of baboons, they opened the window, the small ones came in and started passing the food to the big ones outside. . They were not even scared of the kids playing in the sitting room. They even tried challenging the women.

The place is very nice and you will enjoy it, just make sure u go with a bug repellent cos of the tse tse flies in the jungle.

All what this government are doing are just scratching the problem from the surface. What if tomorrow they cant sustain it, it becomes an eye sore. What the Governors need to do is improve the economy of their state and not depend on oil from another region or state. Private sectors can handle all the beautifications of the state if they are happy in the State
PoliticsSaharareporters Confirm The Revocation Of Michael Aondoakaa American Visa by PupetMasta(op): 11:31am On Jul 02, 2010
The United States has confirmed that Michael Kaase Andoakaa (SAN) Nigeria’s former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, is banned and barred from entering the country. A top US diplomat in Abuja told The Punch in Abuja Saharareporters had its facts right. Last Thursday, Saharareporters broke the story, informing the nation of the revocation of Aondoakaa's visa. The former Minister however denied it, boisterously telling the local media he could go anywhere in the world he pleased.

Reading from a prepared text on Thursday, the US diplomat said, “The United States has indeed revoked the visa of the former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Mr. Michael Aondoakaa, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 7750, which provides authority to deny entry to the United States to persons with links to corruption.”

The diplomat did not provide any details because he said the information was restricted to the text.

Proclamation 7750 was made on in January 2004 by former US President George W. Bush to restrict foreign officials and their family members allegedly linked to corruption. The full text of the proclamation is available on Presidential Proclamation 7750

The proclamation was used in 2004 to bar the former governor of Plateau State, Chief Joshua Dariye, and his family from entering the US. Its renewed use by the United States suggests that the developed economies may be moving into a new season in confronting official corruption in Nigeria. In Aondoakaa’s case, not only has a judge in Nigeria barred him from holding public office, he is being investigated in the United Kingdom.

Saharareporters can also now confirm that similar revocations are coming against many Yar'Adua era officials linked to massive corruption during his two and half years in office. Yar'Adua died in May at the Presidential Villa in Abuja but his closest aides have not been investigated for corruption by Jonathan regime.

The passport of Yar'Adua's Chief Economic Adviser, Tanimu Kurfi, is currently being held by State Security Service (SSS) which continues to drill him for being in possession of over $1.2 billion on behalf of Yar'Adua.

Yar'Adua's wife, Hajia Turai, Kurfi, former FCT Minister Adamu Aliero, former Agriculture Minister, Abba Ruma and 9 others are on the list. As of the time of writing this report Saharareporters was also learning that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, who is also a UK citizen, is being seriously considered for the US ban.

In denying our report last week, Aondoakaa, trying to be clever, said: “The revocation of visa of a citizen entering the US does not go through Obama. It is just a matter of the state department revoking your visa.”

In saying that, he suggested we could not obtain information from the highest levels of a government, and perhaps that his corrupt record is insufficient to attract to the attention of the US leader. He also said he had spoken to a senior US diplomat.

If Aondoakaa still arrogantly challenges our report that he cannot enter the United States, Saharareporters hereby offers him a chance to prove us wrong this summer: an all-expenses paid trip to New York City. He will travel Business Class on the airline of his choice, and spend a weekend in the Waldorf Astoria, which he has enjoyed in the past at the expense of the Nigerian taxpayer.

NYSCRe: NYSC: Which State/Year Did You Serve? by PupetMasta(m): 2:33pm On Jun 28, 2010
I served with batch B 2006/2007 corp members. I was first posted to Kogi state, was having mad fun for 4 days till I was re deployed to Lagos. I never went to the Lagos Camp at Iyana Ipaja. I stayed at home till 2 weeks after orientation camp. Collected my primary assignment letter from the secretariat in Surulere. After all the whole to and fro, I ended up in Mushin Local Government

Looking back at my service year, I cant really pinpoint anything I fully enjoyed that year.
PoliticsRe: Yerima Cannot Continue In Senate, Says Nba by PupetMasta(m): 1:44pm On Jun 18, 2010
People should stop comparing gay bishops to Yerima's pedophile nature. The USA did not outlaw gay people, The bishop is still within the laws of the land, it is left to the church to accept or reject the service of the bishop. For Yerima's case, if it is a right thing to be a pedophile in Islam according to his translation of the Quaran he should have done it in his Islamic state (Zamfara) where it is allowed, but to commit a crime in Abuja (a secular state) and claim the laws of Zamfara is just moronic. He should be tried with the FG law and punished accordingly.

It is just like committing murder in Texas but because Texas still have the death penalty you want the laws of another state (maybe Arizona) to be used.

For thoshose using the gay card, can you remember when California was still one of the first places to legalize gay marriages, there was mass exodus of gay people to California to get married, they did not behave like Yerima and marry in their original state of residence.
PoliticsRe: How Do You Feel When You Hear The National Anthem. by PupetMasta(m): 7:30pm On Jun 17, 2010
Actually I feel indifferent, I usually don't even finish it till the end (not that I don't know it, I just don't feel it, maybe because I know it is all a lie). I sang it now and I felt like taking 99% of our leaders to the gallows
RomanceRe: Things People Do In The Name Of Love! by PupetMasta(m): 5:05pm On Jun 16, 2010
@ITgurlie and Ranosky

It depends on your priority. Some people believe there is no hope for them in Nigeria, they will do anything to get out, A deceitful marriage is a small price for them to pay.

Although I will not do it but I still believe it is business, you use what u have to get what u want
RomanceRe: Things People Do In The Name Of Love! by PupetMasta(m): 1:36pm On Jun 16, 2010
I think people that do these kinds of deceits are just trying to eat their cake and have it. Getting a passport or dependency visa is more organize now, u don't need all those deceit anymore at least I know that of the UK. All you need is money. I have living testimonies. In the UK, there are girls (citizens) that will marry u (not even Caucasians), all u need is to pay them although it can go as high as 10000 pounds and she could blackmail u doing the waiting period. They don't need to live with you neither do you need to sleep with them or perform husband duties. They just forward their bills and mails to your house and voila after some years u get what u want and you divorce while she make some money for herself. Things don't need to be complicated

PoliticsRe: Yerima Cannot Continue In Senate, Says Nba by PupetMasta(m): 11:37am On Jun 14, 2010
@mistakay
how can u compare a 13 yr old getting pregnant in the UK and yerima's 13 yr old bride. A 13 yr old in the UK most likely(95%) got pregnant for another minor like herself (13-17 yr old boy), that is teenage mistake. Yerima is just a retarded, useless and idiotic pedophile that should be locked up for a very long time. Everybody knows this country has a lot of problem but that does not mean we should go totally lawless. What you implied on page one of this thread is that I should not be tried of rape if I am a rapist because we have armed robbers and kidnappers in other part of the country. We could has well go to a complete state of chaos and anarchy

FamilyRe: First Pregnancy. First Labor. First Baby. How Was It? by PupetMasta(m): 5:04pm On Jun 08, 2010
When I was younger I witnessed a home delivery with just my aunties and my grand mum present. I was just a kid then but I can still recall the experience especially when I see the boy(now in the university). Omo dat day was not funny o, I heard the pregnant woman's (an aunt) scream in my sleep. When I woke up I was just staring at her as she rolled on the floor in pain while the other women tried to calm her and deliver the baby, I could not move. Omo I was scared. I had the memory in my head through the Christmas period.

Thumbs up to Women.
FamilyRe: Industrialist Dumps Wife For Housemaid. by PupetMasta(m): 11:31am On Jun 08, 2010
Allegation of cheating does not mean he did it, if it cant be proved it should be thrown out. The man could also make a claim that she was banging the chauffeur while he worked his behind off, it is all claim there should be evidence. The law is blind to sentiments, if there is no provision for a divorcée in the law of the land, it is her loss, she should blame herself for attending owambes instead of doing something productive with her life, she is not the first housewife neither will she be the last housewife in Nigeria.

Don't get me wrong, I am against treating women(esp. housewives) unfairly but when a woman makes outrageous claims my gold digger alert comes off and I get pissed. What did she expect when she relocated to London. Please can any family lawyer in house confirm if there is a law in Nigeria that restricts the number of wives a man can marry, if there is non. The woman will have to look for a new way to milk her cow.

Please note not all women that are full housewives are fully responsible for their children, their husbands still give undivided attention to their children. Some of the so called housewives still rely on the house maids to take care of the children.
PoliticsRe: We Should All Thank Taiwo Akinwumi For Our Flag by PupetMasta(m): 4:49pm On Jun 04, 2010
The guy wants us to idolize him for a flag that is so ugly and tilts towards islam. Islamic countries use the green and white in thier flag, what makes Nigeria different from an Islamic nation judging by the flag. Abeg, if possible the flag should be re designed and made more neutral. Infact Nigeria needs a total overhauling.
RomanceRe: Guys:let's Imagine Life Without Women, by PupetMasta(m): 4:35pm On Jun 02, 2010
Life without women would have been a life without sin, problems, guilt ets cos Man would not have fallen. Man would have been innocent cos woman (eve) brought the guilt in Man. God will have to choose between creating a man or given Men wombs so that they can shit out kids for populating the earth. Maybe homosexuality would be the accepted form of bedmatic. Maybe Man will not need to die cos according to the bible sin brought death and judgement to this world.

Mehn it will be a very boring world, but we can never say man could have found a way to amuse himself
TV/MoviesRe: What Movie(s) Do You Never Get Tired Of Watching by PupetMasta(m): 4:54pm On Jun 01, 2010
I find it very difficult to watch a movie more than once except there is at least a 3 months gap, but recently I think I have watched Con Air, Executive Decision, Air force one and Pretty Woman about 2 times in the last 2 months.
BusinessRe: Bad For Federal Workers by PupetMasta(m): 4:04pm On Jun 01, 2010
Everybody will always fight for his own Alma Mata. I could remember when private universities where coming up, if u tell someone u graduated from a private university, u will be looked down on.

The F.G. is going about this the wrong way. They should have first remove ghost workers and then sack redundant staffs.  Marginalizing HND holders will send a rippling effect to the employers of labor in the country. It will also affect the education sector. Nobody will want to go to a polytechnic and this will put a strain on the Universities.
FamilyRe: Should A Guy Propose Before We Introduce Him To Mum & Dad? by PupetMasta(m): 1:27pm On Jun 01, 2010
I think there should be an introduction (not the ceremony) before a proposal. If your parent know your bf/gf before he/she proposes they can easily make known their reservation concerning him/her. It will be easier to dump the spouse before proposal than after proposal if you agree with your parent's reservation about your man or woman.

Jack is a celebrity, 2 world powers after him. But mehn it was an emotional ending. I wonder how the writers will make him come out of his hiding in the movie.

President Allison and Jack lost everything, wat a pity. I think there should be a comic book on 24 (Jack Bauer), the guy na super hero

Now I have to get all the seasons and watch them again.

PoliticsRe: Church Where Founder's Skeleton Is Worshiped Lwkmd! by PupetMasta(m): 6:35pm On May 18, 2010
Everybody has the right to worship watever seems right to him or her as long as it does not infringe on someone's else right. From a neutral point of view, a passer by will see no difference between this particular people and Christian cos to them they both worship a dead man. It is all about ur faith. Your faith can make u shun all evil with the hope of going to heaven to live on a street made of Gold, it can also make u blow up humans like u with the belief that you will get 72 virgins (Please what is so special about this virgins that I cant have them without blowing up myself and other people). Your faith can also make u believe in Karma or even believe in nothing. It is all about the individual. Education could also be a factor esp. in Nigeria.

From my own view, a lot of Americans are Christians only by birth, some dont even know who Jesus is, so we cant call them Christians
