There should be a way to mark single fathers too and prevent single ladies from marrying them. Because I don’t understand how I’m hearing about single mothers like they are a set of females that chose to impregnate themselves and stand alone.

Beans porridge and sweet potatoes.

Hilda Baci is not the problem of Nigerians. She is not the cause of any problem. Nigeria was having its issues before she was born and I am sure her death will not settle it. So if she doesn’t set records now, Nigeria will be fine by the next year. Nigeria will become Dubai and every youth will focus on serious things. I would like to ask if she was the source and genesis of Nigeria’s issues.

Whatever she’s doing is better than the drug game, the crime fame that many others doing nothing good are bringing to the country. If it’s nothing more than to add a little to the good image of Nigeria, it’s still better than those that are into crime. Which crime did she commit sef? This is better than nothing.

Those of you complaining should go and build bridges, do tech and other meaningful stuff that you believe, and that we know, will help the country. Complaints don’t do anything for us, and they aren’t more than what she’s doing.

I tried groundnut candy today and failed. The nuts were fresh and crisp but the sugar syrup burnt, making everything bitter. 😭

Yes, let’s be helping each other when we can. At least we won’t ask ourselves to marry or have sex as a payment for help. Or expect lifelong servitude like a slave whose payment is extremely large for freedom.

This is why there are organizations for helping people, or focused specifically on women because man would help man and it’s business related all the way, but for a man to help a woman she would at least pay her body or her life.

The funny thing is that women are not the ones who first commercialize everything. It’s men who come forward presenting cash first as a means of buying the woman, sometimes not clearing the air about what sort of exchange is being made. Only to come forward later to lay claim to the woman like a piece of meat. I’m not saying the woman should be ungrateful but terms and conditions should be stated clearly.

If it’s like this then no wonder some men can nearly kill a woman once they pay bride price. Because it’s not a celebration nor tradition to them but the sale of a woman, of a whole human being, to be owned like livestock. Women have to be careful.

The only thing I love about the comments here is that no woman was exempted. The guys said "all women". Even the one that called me bitter says he cannot give woman N100, na only knack e fit give. As for the lady in the post, an ingrate she is.
I recommend parents training their kids. Whatever you have to do, please do it. So they don't become indebted to anyone and think they have to pay with a commitment as serious as marriage. My heart goes out to the guy.

Parents need to do for their kids. The price a woman is expected to pay for a man helping her financially is not small.

Even extended family, if they help you through school or something, your price to pay is really heavy.

If anyone but your parents help you then you may lose your freedom in their eyes and be expected to be indebted for life.

These kinds of risks, many women take it and 80% of the time, the guys won’t appreciate like you, just use and dump to fuel their ego - which has been bruised by their financial status. They don’t always see girls like this, when they see them, it’s to use and dump just to feel like a king, a big man that uses and dumps many girls.

Then when those betrayed girls start looking for big men so that at least the use and dump won’t be without a little gain on their side, the same men come to nl to cry.

A girl can try, but let her know that just because she stood by a guy, doesn’t mean he will appreciate or even make the union respectable by marrying her. Men sell those dreams so you can come to them and ignore red flags, when you get there, you don’t get rewarded for overlooking all these things.
