Any human being with their own mind would take care of themselves not just because of the world, men or women. They do it because they value themselves - because they like themselves that way PERSONALLY before anything else. So I don’t know why women’s personal care is attributed majorly to wanting mens attention. This your stand is what many men and women believe.

-That’s why so many girls are restricted in their self care because any small thing means they’re doing it for men. They can’t do the fashion they like, because it’s assumed that the only thing they are thinking of at that moment is attracting men.

-Wives are stopped from self care. By husbands. Guess why? Because if they are taking care of themselves, it must be for other men to look.

- From middle age to old age, women are mocked for taking care of themselves and looking good. Because they have according to society, passed the attractive age for men, therefore there is no reason to dress up. Once you have passed a certain age, your usefulness to men is up, therefore as a woman you must live like the living dead. Don’t care for yourself as all your purpose in life is for men.

With all this, why won’t many women hate men? Men restricted women like they were made to please them or think of only them.

Do you ever cut your hair or change clothes and just look in the mirror and feel good, no other thoughts?

Something needs to be done about all this killing and insecurity in Nigeria. People go out and come home escaping murder just by a hairs’ breadth. If you have money, you have to live humble or move to a place where everyone else is the same so that no evil eyes will follow you. Even ordinary people going out to have fun, go out with anxiety, and have their fun while praying in their minds.

Omo you can’t be going into bushy places at night. The day I tried it… bike man dropped me near a morgue I think, just dropped me with a poker face expression and zoomed off… right beside the morgue that night was a hefty man with a blank expression in his eyes. He came closer without saying a word. The way I took off eh… and he also ran after me… I ran without caring where the road was, whether him be ghost or man… it just wasn’t my time to die… I ran until I don’t even know how I saw a clearing, a bush bar by the road with many men hanging out with babes. The way I looked, they laughed and one came to ask what was wrong, that the others felt I was crazy, the way I looked. I no even answer, I just found my way back to school and forgot the person I stupidly climbed a bike to confront with anger at night, knowing I would have to navigate through bushes I didn’t know well, to reach.

If that burly man had caught me, honestly I don’t know what would’ve happened. Nobody would know where I was. I still wonder why the eyes were so blank and why he just stood there and started coming after me without a word.

I’m so sorry about the girls. I can only say that we are alive by Gods grace, and not that we deserve it more than those that are gone.

Every mom is cringe resistant. You clean all sorts of shit a few times, every day, for some years. First on a diaper, then in a potty. I can go into details about how that feels especially when you have to still make food and eat afterwards but then, some singles and non parents will be too disgusted 😂 And you must clean that shit real good, make sure there’s no trace anywhere.

At the bottom of peoples speculation and disbelief is deeply rooted misogyny in a patriarchal system. I don’t know her, if she got it honestly, I’m happy for her, and if she got it fraudulently, God will handle her. But the reason for the widespread negativity towards her achievement is a popular belief that women can’t do anything.

Men complain and shame women for not being financially buoyant and being burdens expecting men to cater for them. Once the women can be independent however, it becomes a festival of jealousy, insecurity and anger. I think men want women to always be beneath them to beg while they insult them for being unable to be independent.

If a man got this done, some guys would congratulate and hail him. But most men are not supporting the woman.

Besides, some want to cheat but that you as a woman should be unhappy about it at the very least. It makes some guys feel important. And if you try to be strong or get yourself ready so you won’t be disappointed, they’ll try to punish you for it. They believe you should be falling apart while they run around.

Consider though, that there are many things that could go wrong with an open marriage, more than you can bear like I stated earlier. It might not be so smooth like you expect.

The woman he cheats with would like to rub it in your face. You allow him to cheat, she wants drama, she’s going to start rubbing it in your face. Get to home finances, try to interfere to the point that funds aren’t enough for you and your family just so you know she’s there, she exists. Try to control your husband so you know she’s in charge, etc. Side chick hardly keeps to herself and her role which is sex. Whether she’s interested in your husband or not.

Also, diseases are a concern. You won’t be so happy about cheating by the time you start treating diseases. Even with carefulness, he can contract something and bring it to you.

I’m well aware of lies being told about a person by a stranger. She should just take heart because she can’t open her vagina to let everyone see she’s a virgin or rewind time in guys eyes to make them aware.

O.G’s of cheating don’t use their main phones to do it. It was a guy here that told another that he can have a second phone and number which he uses for his cheating alone. So forget the phone thing. Also, your partner would be giving you warnings not to touch their phone if they are guilty so that’s a big red flag.

I wouldn’t say turn away, because if cheating has occurred, then you are in danger of hiv or other stds. In fact some people are already treating themselves secretly after contracting diseases through affairs, and the partners are just falling sick ignorantly. So cheating suspicions should be addressed. To maybe save your life if something is actually happening.

I’ve been limited so many times because it’s supposedly a man’s world where you must think about what men think before you do anything.
