tunene: Yea, your friends salary is good. That is about the amount most oil company pay in Nigeria though slightly above that for 4yrs experience. When I say oil companies, I mean operators like shell, mobil, chevron etc and not saipem, Adamac, Ascot etc nor do I mean Schlumberger, Haliburton, or Transocean, though these last three pay well too. If he is enjoying his career with Statoil, he had better stay. Another wahala with naija is you can not even enjoy your money effectively, if it is not Infrastructure problem, it is government issue, then comes thieves, robbers, kidnappers, they wont just allow you spend the money you worked for as you like. U make me laugh with the highlighed Anyways thanx 4 ur time and advice. |

Thanks for your reply Tunene. It really appear gloom; I just hope the chinese fail in their bid. My friend earns about 4k euros which as u know is quite ok in any standard. |

Tunene U seem an insider indeed. What would the scenario be like in 2 years time, since most oil coys are cutting overhead big time? A friend of mind with 4 years exp(subsea) in norway is reluctant to come back home cause he earns big in Statoil. What would he be looking at if he gets somewhere related in Nigeria? |

AjanleKoko: @poster, I'm not normally like this, but, with all due respect, this reads like horsecrap.
Is this a joke? Since when do HOD's secretaries have control over your results, from 100 level to final year? What did she do, go through your records and change all your As and Bs to Ds and Es? We know this is Nigeria, but then . . . haba! I think this is not necessary. The poster wanted suggestions not heckling. He's already down with third class and a reply like this won't help. I know it's not your fault he got third class but a benefit of doubt is not above u. |

I will ignore ur yab and ask u a simple question. So poor ppl no suppose marry again? Poverty is as old as the world so what is the use procastinating the inevitable? They have the chance to fight out together when still youthful, downside is that sex would be the only solace. |

Working hard is relative, a truck pusher works hard. U should know by now that the quantity of work u do doesn't make one a rich or comfortable person. I advice u do ahead with your wedding plans regardless, as miracle do happen. |

@poster
It depends on where u live? Would your friends and family accepts the idea? And can u cope with the tag?
I know most black guys won't want to settle with a girl mothering a molatto child, except u're rich. Then it won't be love any more. |

I concur. The guy is simply over-rated his ratio of goals is poor.
There's no other yardstick to judge a striker to me.
I agree with Dr Kitaun, he was a passanger at Euro cup. |
