HealthRe: Why Would Anyone Want To Become A Doctor? by Puvguy: 12:55pm On Jan 13, 2013
jennykadry: True though, even nurses here earn more than some doctors in Nigeria. A called in surgeon here could earn 8000-10,000 dollars per day after operating on 2-3 patients, but the ones in naija are there wasting away.

The 2-3k doctors earn here per day is for those that work in A &E work only, if you get more complicated issues that requires theatre, your pay automatically doubles. A gynae that just relocated here was almost in tears when he told us how much his friend who has more experience than him earns in naija. So sad....
You must be talking about Australia cool
HealthRe: Why Would Anyone Want To Become A Doctor? by Puvguy: 8:59am On Jan 13, 2013
jennykadry: Lol. Medical doctors in this generation and in westernized countries earn heaps. Money aside, you have to love the profession first and not the money. Loving medicine will take you to places in life.

Now to the money issue, there is money for doctors here and in other westernized countries. All you need do is, take your family for a week's vacation to some other town and earn $2000 per day(if they are desperate they make it 3000) in your locum work. When you are done working for 5- 6 days you will be smiling with a little over $15k that week. Accommodation, flight/transport, feeding etc all paid for, all you need do is just show up.

Study medicine cos it's from your heart and not cos you want the money and name it "would" bring to you. Your passion for medicine will open the right channel.

Pardon my errors, I'm mobile
Pardon my ignorance, $2,000 per day doing what?
RomanceRe: What Can I Do To Convinced Her? by Puvguy:
heed101: She loves you and she is only helping the guy. Don't discourage her from helping. I can sense she has a strong feeling for u. Don't lose her because if you do, you may not see someone like her again lipsrsealed
If you follow this advise then you will remain a fool for life! For start, you set up yourself for heart break by playing second fiddle to a girl with a bf. She's not bad, just a confused girl that's in love with a loser. Better start toasting others girls before you hurt yourself further. Ain't you tired already of the torture she's putting you through?

RomanceRe: Cooking, Sex Or Good Character For Your Woman? by Puvguy: 4:27pm On Nov 26, 2012
Sweetlemon: Ladies please don't mind all these guys here saying good character. Tomorrow, these same guys will complain about going out of their minds with boredom when they marry a Mother Theresa who cannot even turn him on!
Truth is that they are EQUALLY important. The only thing that can be compromised is good cooking cos you can always get a cook. However that depends on your hubby cos some men would prefer eating their wives' food even if they don't say it.
So you had BETTER learn a good portion of all three
You're one fine mama...you married? wink

A song can make you like an otherwise average artiste.
Music/RadioRe: 5 Nigerian Artistes Who Should Quit And Get Day Jobs by Puvguy: 10:05am On Sep 02, 2012
I highlighted "I like girls", Dammy Krane killed that sound with some support. It's witty, funny with good beat.

Wizkid is gold, you should know that.

Christianity EtcRe: Stephanie Henshaw - Chris Okotie's Ex-Wife - On Their Divorce by Puvguy: 4:51am On Jul 04, 2012
Opinions here make me laugh...seem her damage control strategic worked.Play the victim to get public sympathy.
I don't see Chris Okotie as a true pastor but he was married for 14 years the first time and that says a lot.
Whereas I can't say same for his second wife whose older sister is also not officially married. I see a pattern.

So we should not be quick to judge or conclude who was at fault as women can be very unpredictable.

Op I would have advised you to ignore her but the situation is to your advantage. Why? She has learned
albeit the hard way that the grass is not always greener at the other side. I will advised same if you were
my brother. She's more mature and will adore you. Cheers.

RomanceRe: 1 Year Later, Should I Give Him Another Chance? by Puvguy: 12:37pm On Jan 20, 2012
I'm usually an apostle of not going back to exes but this case is different. A year is a long time for him to change.
If it were earlier, I would have advised you to be weary. However, I still think you guys are different and this may come
back to bite you in future. Try pray over it.

It's still your decision to make as women are not wired logically.

Godspeed!!!
RomanceRe: Sh1t Happens.................................................. by Puvguy: 7:03pm On Jan 05, 2012
@La Parisienne

You seem well put together to me. And since you got other things going for you and the fact that you are still quite young I don't think should
bother too much about finding 'the one'. In due time he will come. Good luck.

BTW, What's your take on older men?
Christianity EtcRe: Introduction To Witchcraft | 'Witchcraft For Dummies' by Puvguy: 1:20pm On Aug 29, 2011
It seem you have read a lot of occultic and spiritual books. So can you give me your take on Islam as a religion?

TravelRe: Should I Migrate Or Remain In Nigeria? by Puvguy: 2:52pm On Aug 21, 2011
cicero:
Friend, it could be the best thing you ever did for your family, but just as you have to work smartly to achieve results in your present job, you need to do same and more to take this step.
If you are lazy and don't want to kick it, then don't.
If the indiscipline in Nigeria has become so 'concretized' in your person that you won't try to change, then don't.
If you are typical about women's role and status both in the family and society, then don't.
If you are and impulsive spender and you are not ready to change, then don't.
If you intend to be so occupied chasing money and other achievement while the tv raise your children, then don't
If sleeping with white women and African American ladies is your life-long dream and you must realize it, then don't
If you must not accept the fact that moving to America requires some fundamental changes that will test your endurance and intelligence, then don't.
Friend if you are willing to and you are sure destiny is beckoning you there, don't listen to anybody, just go. American is better than Nigeria in 1,000,001 ways.
Spot on brother!. . . You're surely a thinker. Stay bless.

You are quite current and liberal with what you read for a Muslim. A married Muslim for that matter. . . really impress.
CelebritiesRe: Woman Claims Mercy Johnson Is About To Marry Her Husband! by Puvguy: 7:28am On Aug 07, 2011
I admire Mercy Johnson for her talent and her person too. . . humble girl. However, I think she got this wrong.

The bible frowns against marrying someone whose spouse is still alive except she's not a Christian then is understood.

I'm not judging her but this marriage won't be favored by the Almighty.
Christianity EtcRe: Mountain Of Fire And Miracles (MFM) by Puvguy: 6:34am On Aug 02, 2011
Never knew there is a thread for MFM members. I remember my time there. It was intense and found it strange initially but thoroughly enjoyed it later.
I became house fellowship leader in just 6 months of membership. Oh I was fervent, lots of fasting and prayers without food for 3-7 days. My spiritual life was perfect, got the gift of dreams and interpretation which is almost gone now. Though I slacked a bit now but sometimes get into that zone.

My God continuing to guide us.

^ Man you have been told your relevance why not do the research on the pains and gains.
Most youth these days just like to be spoon fed sha. This question is unfair to Okeyz.
