What this senseless foolanis don't realize is that they are fast becoming endangered species, it won't be long before the noose tightens on them as their excesses are already making even the most ardent proponents of One Nigeria rethink that mantra..they are making the job easy for those planning and waiting for the right time to escalate a major crisis that will finally break this country into pieces for good...a smart secessionist movement or leader had better capitalize on this opportunity to sensitize this cesspit of a country for its final dissolution...maybe the Fulani menace is a blessing in disguise... |

Like I said, stop shifting and pretending that SE as whole is safe it's a traits of cowardice protect your land Dude they attack remote villages in Enugu that are on the fringes of the city itself, so it makes them easy target...every part of the South is under the fulani threat...so lets not just start this Igbo vs yoruba rubbish again, and this report is more likely than not a false alarm cause I called a friend in Enugu and he said nothing of that sort is taking place. |

anything to create awareness on a massive scale is welcome at this point, the Igbo/Southern Nigerian youths in the diaspora need to be sensitized on the looming dangers ahead for our collective existence...this animals called herdsmen need to be tamed and fast, every fund needed to procure automatic weapons to arm vigilantes and militias in endangered areas is one step...today it was Enugu, tomorrow it can be Ibadan or Port Harcourt... |

Shymm3x: This is the list of Yoruba boys I found playing for different football academies in the UK. They're all U-18, apart from Oduwa. I purposely left out a few established ones like: Ola Aina, Dele Alli, Moses Odubajo, and Dominic Solanke.
Considering how difficult it's to get into football academies in the UK - especially when you have gone past the "schoolboy" age. These guys are talented. Coupled with the fact that, when you're not white, it's more difficult. So you have to be supremely talented and composed when you go for trials. And once you flop one chance during trials, you may not be able to get another one.

P.S: you can highlight the names you feel aren't Yoruba names on the list. more than half of this players are relatively unknown though, save for Delle Alli, Solanke, and Odubajo...I barely know the rest even exist |

^^^That's not all, but the ones available online. 36 names there. If you can piece together 18 Igbo names (half of that) playing for the best football academies in the UK, I owe you £200. Don't post it here, post it on a next thread and tag me. dude UK is like a quasi colony of yorubas alone, why not come down to the USA and other parts of Europe? lets start with soccer sef! and I'm compiling my list already, will tag you pretty soon cause I'm about to start a new thread on this one, be ready with yours. |

Please, don't turn this thread into dyck-measuring contest.
We're not measuring schlongs and bellends here, this is for discussing Yoruba folks and areas we need to develop.
You and I know that outside Nigeria, apart from NFL (the gap isn't even that wide), or in Italy (where there aren't that many Yorubas) - Yorubas dominate Igbos in sports. In the UK alone - the gap is wide, from football, to rugby, to track and field (maybe Igbo women and Yoruba women are neck to neck), to boxing etc.. You should be competing with the Edos, not Yorubas. I believe in STATS,not just talk!!! |

forgiveness: @bolded
First of, you asked what sports is to Yorubaman and I will simply say sports means a lot to these present generation than the past generations, then Yorubas priorities education than others(military, police, sports etcetera). Although, many Yoruba parents still holds tightly unto that archaic philosophy or traditions(this one self just started 200 years ago) of 'you must go to school' but boy Don sabi say no be only book fit bring ruch or pepe come. Or do you think Yorubas don't see Obafemi, Mikel, Adebayor and Co, we no go school but dey live large?
Bros, Your second question is strange to me and to those who are aware of Yoruba's exploits both in cerebral energy and physical energy sports. How soon have you forgotten that the likes of Kareem Abdul Jabber and Hakeem Olajuwon had once dominated the world in basketball, that the likes of Rasheed Yekini, Emmanuel Adebayor, Segun Odegbami, Yakubu Aiyegbeni had once dominated Africa and European football and even David Alaba is currently dominating all Africans put together in the European leagues, he was selected twice for UEFA first eleven(the regetted stone becoming the corner stone). have you forgotten so soon that Deji Ali, Deley Thompson(top 3 greatest decathlethes ever), Olusola Fasuba( the ninth fastest 100m ever), Femi Ogunode(fastest Asian 100m ever) once dominated Africa, Asia, Europe and the world at large. Time will not permit me to mention Yoruba's dominance in boxing(Areaonakakanfo and Sir Shymm3x na oga for this one) , hockey, American football, etcetera.
Are all these sports not part of physical energy sports?
Sir, permit me to humbly say that your submissions are not cogent enough to dismiss the facts on ground. I rest my case. Shalom Bros firstly Yakubu Aiyegbeni is from Edo state...but let me quickly correct one anomaly in your post(I think this is for Major of Lagos) who ignorantly mentioned that Igbos are built for sports that require more brawn than brains..that in itself is the dumbest thing I have read all day..first of all sports require a degree of technique or skillset...and for one thing we all know Igbos dominate sports especially in soccer(football if you may)..football itself as a sport has its grey matter of technicalities, and its no surprise Igbos seems to churn out the most technically gifted players in that department(Okocha, Kanu, Mikel, Henry Nwosu, Mikel Obi, Nacho, most recently Chidiebere Nwakali of the U17 winning team etc) even in the so called boxing you hype yorubas for, not one of them comes close to Ike Ibeabuchi...a bull of a boxer who was tipped to be the greatest of all time had drugs and frivolous lifestyle not ruined a promising career, the reasons for this preponderance of Igbos in this area of sports isn't far-fetched...we are the creative engine... statistically right now all the major sports in the USA and most parts of Europe from high school to college level are dominated by Igbos(mostly second and third generations born abroad)...we do have some outstanding yoruba athletes like you mentioned, but if we are to draw a database of numbers...Igbos will sweep the laurel both in Nigreria and abroad, and this includes education as well. |

Close sources to me revealed that the Insurgents are seriously decimating the Nigerian soldiers, the media is only doing a hatchet job of hiding the truth for the sake of those poor soldiers who are been wiped out in their hundreds...guys we ca never crush BH, the moment those guys pledged their allegiance to ISIS is when we lost the war...this isn't even about Buhari or GEJ been incompetent, the best thing now is for the South to band together, arm up and excise themselves from this Northerners, they should be left to their fate cause we are facing something bigger than us right now...I just watched a recent video on liveleaks showing a BH attack just about yesterday, my GOD...you need to see How this guys used superb military tactics to capture a Nigerian military base, with three T52 tanks, one T72, and artillery pieces in their thousands. |
